Accommodations were not what they had online. Our bathroom products were not replenished properly.

We have stayed here before and loved it. This time was not enjoyable. First, there were coins under the pillows on my bed, suggesting a less than thorough cleaning. Secondly, the food in the restaurant was bland as was the service. Finally, I prepaid my room, which the front desk acknowledged but, they insisted on running my credit card for "incidentals". The end result, a hold a funds on my account. (Which is still there after three days). Appears the result of poor training and lack of management

Hotel is conveniently located near Portland historic district and the ferry to Peak Island. I recommend the short drive to the lighthouse and scenic park.

Nice weekend trip, staff was very friendly and hotel was clean. Traveled alone with three children 10, 8, and 4 and everyone was very nice and respectful. Prime location, close to everything. Will go back again.

I choose this hotel because they offered free parking and an airport shuttle.. I had a 6am flight and I live 2 hours from the jetport. Great bed, linens and pillows assign of quality for me. I even had a fantastic in room dinner of roasted cider glazed chicken with green beans. Will definitely stay there again

Had a Great Time in South Portland, Came up from New Hampshire with Two of Our Grandchildren. They Loved the indoor pool and the jacuzzi. We accidentally left a Surface Two Tablet in the Room and didn't realize it until We arrived home in New Hampshire. We called the Hotel and they said they had it . Arrangements were made and We received our Tablet in just a couple of Day's. We are so Grateful to the Staff for All the help in returning our property. We would Stay here again if in the Portland area!

went for a wedding. Room was very clean and comfortable. brough in a cot for extra quest , very friendly a little pricey for hotel but not bad and was good location for wedding

I'm usually pretty low maintenance but this place didn't seem worth the money to me. The room was comfortable enough but the shower curtain smelled sour and, upon inspection, showed some mildew. While the staff was very friendly, the place is not easy to find the first time out. (GPS sent me to the adjacent golf course. Take a right at the Office Park sign with the tiny hotel logos on it to find the Marriott, then a quick hard left off the entry road.) For nearly $200 per night, a complimentary cup of coffee the next morning would be nice. Instead there was self-serve Starbucks on the lounge counter for nearly $3. Um, no. I'm willing to spend extra for someplace fine, but this is not that kind of place. Clean, predictable, pricey.

Great stay was with someone special and the room helped make the trip that more enjoyable

Perfect Fall day! Staff very friendly and professional. Room was awesome and very comfortable and clean. They provided water and coffee and cookies when we checked in. Lounge was great!! Restaurant had an amazing buffet! Close to everything; malls, shops, golf course and even the airport if that's what you need. This is are 3rd time back!! Love it here. So quiet and nestled high up on the hill.

The room was comfortable, nicely appointed, and very clean. The staff was friendly across the board. The only problem was with the complimentary wireless internet - download speeds were between 0.03 - 0.09 MB/s, which is absurd. My phone downloaded a file in under a minute that it was going to take an hour to download with the wifi.

Very nice accommodation and great amenities, hot tub and pool were just what I needed. Very comfortable room, internet access. Very clean, nice linens. Staff were all very polite and helpful, respectful. They sent up extra coffee! Nice breakfast option. Good food, friendly service. Well done!

The staff were polite, properly friendly and willing to provide service without hesitation. The food was excellent in quality, well prepared and served with elegance.I and my spouse would gladly recommend the hotel to any traveler.

Very nice room. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Hotel was difficult to find since it is not visible from the main highways. Thought it offered complimentary continental breakfast, but we were told that was not offered. Overall, very pleasant.

the hotel was good, but not as amazing as depicted by its photos. The room was small but clean, and just a cut above average. I chose it because of its high rating... have to say it was over rated. Nothing great, and for the money I was disappointed.

This hotel was close to the airport, but the price was at a premium probably because of location near the airport. It is not a good value for the money, as this is a typical mid-range hotel.

We went for a wkend away to see downtown Portland and b/c every hotel in downtown Portland was over $300, we decided to stay in South Portland at the Marriott. It was 15 minutes from downtown by car which wasn't too bad b/c its a fairly nice drive. The hotel is by a big mall and tons of restaurants, which we never visited b/c we always ate in downtown Portland. The hotel was nice, its a Marriott. The staff was nice and we didn't have any issues at all. We never used the pool but it was very busy. I would recommend this hotel b/c the hotels in downtown Portland are overpriced and this hotel was the best deal even though most would consider it pricey at $200 a night.

Really nice hotel with excellent service. Nice place to unwind.

Stayed for one night while visiting in Portland. The staff was decently kind if a bit distracted while we were checking in, the hallways were clean if a bit run down, and the room was fairly standard, with a pretty comfortable bed. Nothing extraordinary, not sure it was worth the high price, but nothing specifically wrong.

Room was nice and well maintained. The Breakfast buffet was not that good and they tried to rush us out for no real reason but overall not a bad stay.
