The front desk staff were very friendly and accommodating. I really like the family style environment setting. The continental breakfast was good, hope they keep it that way or more fresh fruits.

close to lots of food choices, and the fairgrounds where I was doing an expo

The staff is always friendly and helpful. This time the airline misplaced my bag but the staff gave me a toothbrush, comb... everything I needed until I had my own things back. Love this place!

cold raining weather would make a pool with a hot tub a must for this location.

The hotel was clean - with a pervasive super-clean alcohol based cleaning solution smell in every room. Had to open the window immediately upon arrival in the room. Weird textured plasticy-papery cups were provided in our room along with fake powdered creamer. The breakfast featured reheated packaged pastries and scrambled eggs that remind me of school food. Plastic cutlery was recycled - is it washed and used again? Next time I'll bring a ceramic mug and plate and real metal utensils.

Very clean & comfortable. Would definitely stay again. Staff was very nice and knew were to stay on another upcoming trip.

I was disappointed at first after learning there was no spa or pool and the room was already booked. After contemplating to cancel, we decided to stay after all. My son loves to swim plus we have to keep him entertained:) We arrived and got to our room. I must say I was very impressed as we have stayed in Portland several times (including the Hilton) and this room was three times as nice. We loved the double bed setup with the tv on the wall and the little couch to lounge on. The hotel was nicely decorated and beautiful. The beds were so comfortable and the pillows were too! I usually have to bring my own pillow since I have neck problems but I forgot it this time. The staff was amazing too. Needless to say we were very impressed and will stay there again even without the pool because it was so worth it! Thank you for a great stay!!

The staff was very accommodating and our room was large and comfortable, but the hotel is renovating and there were issues with things turned off or not attached. The lobby carpet has been removed and I almost fell several times where the hard surface drops to the missing carpet areas. No signs to warn of this and dark colors. It was dangerous for us older folks with bifocals. Also, no baseboards upstairs. It will probably very Euro modern when completed.

Wow. A lower end price hotel with a breakfast that actually had eggs and bacon and sausage rather than carb, carb, carb. The location was great-super quiet next to a wooded area.Staff friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again. However, fat foam pillows suck-but I was able to borrow a feather one from onery kid.

This was an enjoyable experience for my wife & I. the room was very nice & clean. the staff was real friendly and the location was perfect. it's in a out of the way place off the beaten path. i would recommend this hotel to anyone who comes to hillsboro, oregon.

I visited an old friend in Hillsboro for the weekend and had a very comfortable experience at the Hillsboro Holiday Inn Express. The location is not in the heart of Portland or near attractions, but perfect for business travelers with Intel or TOK, etc.. Comfortable, quiet, clean, nice breakfast each morning, lightrail station just around the corner (was only $2.50 to get to the airport), as well as the lovely Orenco station area restaurants (The Indian was delicious and so inexpensive) & starbucks--very convenient!!

Great service and friendly staff. Room was clean and ready when we got there.

Great room, super location with terrific market, restaurants and Starbucks coffee all within a few minutes walk. Best HD TV ever in a hotel room.

This was a great 2 evenings in Hillsboro. The rooms were very clean, neat and efficient. Will again enjoy the Holiday Inn Express whenever possible.

We were impressed by the front desk attendant who was sincerely very friendly and very helpful throughout...we would stay here again...one exception: please ditch the powdered scrambled eggs for the complimentary breakfast...tasted like we were eating plastic....some hard boiled eggs could be substituted perhaps...thank you...

Had to get up early for an interview. The bed was amazing.

Nice hotel, checked in late, beds were very comfortable with adaquate pillows. Complimentary breakfast was outstanding with everything from muffins to pancakes to yogurt and more! We even picked up a few "finds" for our geocache log.

The hotel was located close to where we were visiting family. We have stayed here before and always had the best stay, and this time was no different. The breakfast was excellent and the service was great.

Only stayed one night Very nice Would stay again

This hotel is in the perfect spot for us to visit our family and friends when we go to Hillsboro. We stay here as often as we can when we are traveling in this area. The rooms and the amenities are the best.

Ken, Our wonderful Oregon weather! Although an indoor pool/spa would be a nice addition, we do have the areas largest fitness center! It is accessible 24 hours a day and our guests' love it!

Rosie, Thank you for taking the time to complete this review. My staff and I utilize all guest feedback to provide the best guest experience possible. Cleanliness is very important to us and we only use the highest quality cleaning products. The products we use are designed to have a very low fragrance, so I am surprised it seemed to be too strong. I'll follow up with staff to make sure someone is not a bit overzealous. Regarding our recycled plastic cutlery, I assure you we do not reuse it! We just make sue it ends up in recycling and not a landfill.
