Fairfield Inn & Suites Portland North Harbour

All even numbered rooms are facing the I-5 and noise level is these rooms is terrible. Our family couldn't sleep well through the night.

Came to Portland to explore the city on a Saturday. The hotel service was great. Very friendly staff. Would have been nice if the room had a mini-fridge and a full-length mirror, but these are trivial things. The pantry/store was a nice convenience. Would stay here again. Nice location away from the crowds in the city.

This is a clean, generic Fairfield Inn with an agreeable but not uniformly knowledgeable staff. The location seems a bit removed from the mainstream, yet it's close to the airport and to the city. We had two separate reservations for back-to-back nights and were assured by one clerk that we could have a seamless stay, only to find out after arrival that we were booked into two different room categories so that we would have to change rooms after the first night. The sink dripped and some amenities were in short supply, but the staff on location was very friendly, helpful and apologetic, even offering a bag of goodies for our trouble.

You really can't go wrong with Fairfield Inn. I have stayed at quite a few of them and really haven't had one complaint. This was just like that. The bed was comfortable and the room was well kept. The staff was great and so was the included breakfast.

Everything is good. very comfertable. Nothing to complain.

Great hotel just terrible getting to as it is in the back of apartment complexes and the street was narrow. Otherwise the hotel itself is great! Took advantage of the spa both nights. Great breakfast bar too!

Good experience but I suggest trying to get room away from freeway.

We choose this hotel because it was near where our high school team was staying. Their hotel was sold out. We had stayed in the North Harbour area before but found this hotel was farther from food and services than other North Harbour hotels. The hotel had very good ammenities and the staff was very friendly and helpful. However, the maids missed parts of a broken coffee cup and a pair of pants when they cleaned the room.

The hotel rooms were clean and modern. Rooms are very well sound insulated. Peaceful night sleep. This is my 2nd stay at this hotel. I was here last Sep and left a piece of luggage behind. The mgr emailed and had it mailed back to me at no cost. I will always stay here when I am in the area visiting in the future.

I FLEW INTO PORTLAND AND STAYED JUST ONE NIGHT. I WAS AFRAID THE PLANE NOISE MIGHT KEEP ME AWAKE BECAUSE OF THE LOCATION. I WAS TOTALLY WRONG. THE STAFF WAS EXCELLENT. THE ROOM COULD NOT HAVE BEEN BETTER. AND I DIDN'T HEAR THE PLANES. I WOULD STAY HERE AGAIN IN A MINUTE.

We were there for a Dance Convention...Location was GREAT...

New Hotel. Awesome friendly staff was very attentive. Shuttle bus worked out great for airport, as well as the short trip over to the Expo Center.

For the price it is fine but be forewarned, it's right on I5 so you can hear the traffic go by all night. It did not bother my husband and kids but kept me up. On the good side, it's new, the people are nice and the breakfast is quite good. The kids enjoyed the indoor pool although it was quite small and the door to get in did not work.
