Spacious and full breakfast were good. Easy check in process

No ice machine - asked for ice at front desk and got a few cubes handed to me. Breakfast was very disappointing. No eggs - no oatmeal - some kind of orange colored drink? Only bananas - we went down the street to eat !

Our beds were clean, but the sink hadn’t been cleaned very well or at all. I noticed dirt in the corners near the bathroom and around the tiled area where you hang up your clothes. Price was great and near the Maine Mall. Overall all cleanliness of room could have been much better.

First my heater wasnt working. But only took them 2 minutes to comenand check it and within less than. 5 min they switched me to another room.

We take many days trips to Potland a year and we always stay here. It is simple and basic but comfortable and very reasonably priced. Great for a one night stay.

The filthiest hotel I have ever stayed at. Thank GOD the bedding, at least, was clean. The shower curtain had so much mold/mildew on the bottom (it was way too long and just bunched on the tub floor) that it made me gag. There was a huge white stain in the middle of the bedroom carpet in front of the tv that was something heavy spilled on it and then dried. I had to virtually jump over it as I walked to the bathroom as there was no space to walk around it.

Broken bathroom door. Very loud heater. I have nothing more.

Great place to stay for an overnight. Staff was very friendly. It is comfortable and quiet.

You get what you pay for: a lumpy bed, very poor WiFi, and used toiletries.

We have stayed here several times and it is ok for a quick rest but I have never stayed more than one night. The WiFi has not worked well any of my stays. It could be cleaner but I have seen worse. I will stay again as the price is good and it is fine for our quick trips to Portland

Our flight extremely delayed and we (mother-daughter duo) checked-in to the hotel around 4AM. The check-in process was okay. The front desk person informed us that we could check-out an hour later at 12 noon so we could get a little extra sleep. The problems started when our key woudn't scan to open the room. Though we were extremely tired/jetlegged at that point that problem was quickly fixed. Overall we had a good six-hours of sleep, when there was loud disturbing knock that we had to vacate the room by 11 AM. I informed the woman that we were told it was okay to do late check-out at 12 noon. She apologized and said it was ok (just that there were no notes on her records.) 20 minutes later another woman with an accompanying man came banging on the door, with the same request. At this point we were extremely annoyed and realized the lack of communication and professionalism in this establishment. It was then apparent to me that this was some sort of "drug, whore, motel" (but at a decent hotel's price) I would not recommned or ever stay there again, especially if traveling with children. And to make matters worse, my daughter forgot a sentimental (Wesleyan University) sweatshirt. When we called to possibly retrieve it, the woman on the phone confirmed that they had it, that she "packaged it" herself and gave it to the manager--but when we drove back to pick it up they just "couldn't located it now". Horrible experience and poor customer service overall.

Nice hotel to stay at. Loved the easy access from the first level. I would recommend the facility to add an ice machine on the first level though. I know that would be a concern for non-paying folks to use it.

Noisy. No coffee pot in the room. Air conditioning needed upgrade.

Internet did not work at the room and hardly and very slowly worked at the lobby. The breakfast was very poor.

I am enclosing photos of the wallpaper peeling, the half painted door and the nasty bathroom. This is the most discusting hotel I have ever had to sleep in and feel the hotel shoul refund part of the money. What is my next step for this?

The room was clean and comfortable. No smells. Upper floor rooms had option to open window for fresh air. Good choice.
