Very good value for the money. You can find hotels with more amenities (e.g. pool, gym, bar), but they will probably cost much more.

Room was fine. The check in was smooth. The morning clerk was a bit too busy to acknowledge our presence. Not a deal breaker though.

Unfriendly staffs, mixed clienteles, room conditions rather run down, close to highways so a bit noisy.

Good room for the price. Great basic boom for a simple layover. Very reasonable compared to area rates.

Staff was friendly. Rooms Newly remodeled and very clean

I travel to Portland a lot for work & stay in a lot of hotels there. I was in town for a conference & this was my 1st time to stay at Days Inn. It was by far the cleanest & most comfortable room I've got in Portland before! I was so impressed I think I'll stay there every time.

Location is close to downtown and thats about it. Overall experience not welcoming.Ill stay somehere else next time even if its farther

Adequate but no luxury. Actually all I needed for this trip. Just don't expect anything fancy

My husband & are in a road trip traveling from Seattle to Houston. Portland was our 2nd stop and after coming from a filthy hotel in Seattle, we didn't expect much from a hotel that we paid less than the Seattle one. But when we got there, we were surprised (in a good way)! The room was very clean. Small but enough for a couple like us staying for just a night. The continental breakfast was also good and location was perfect! It's closed to lots of dining places & convenience store. I'll definitely stay here again if I go back to the area.

It was ok....it was clean but the shower was a little too soft. We wish it were a little stronger to fill cleaner. Otherwise, everything was pretty good. The other trip we just took and stayed at the SF Travelodge... it was ok but again the shower was too weak. Otherwise , both hotels were ok. Thanks.

It was ok but I would never want to stay there again

I went to Portland for the HP Lovecraft Film Festival. I wanted a cheap and comfortable place to crash and not much else. I was there for the film festival and didn't need a lot of frills. This place worked well and was conveniently located too. At first glace the location seemed kinda sketchy but its really convenient and pretty good. Right next to the metro line into downtown, I always felt safe and no one ever bothered me. I ended up walking back to the hotel late one night after an after-party, its a pretty quiet area, a bicyclist asked me for directions to the airport then hugged me and then peddled away. So aside from the occasional 2AM bike by hugging the area seems pretty safe. The area is certainly less annoying than downtown where the homeless seem to outnumber the living and don't seem to mind coming into a restaurant to ask for your sandwich. The room was clean enough. I went to move a nightstand looking for a power outlet and got some gel or something on my hand. I wouldn't expect the cleaners to get the area under the edge of a table but i didn't expect mystery goo either, so I'm calling cleanliness average. All in all it was a good place and I'd stay there again.

The hotel was located very conveniently outside of the max station, so even though it was far from Portland's more popular tourist spots, it was simple to get to them. The room was very clean and affordable.

Location had pool, on site restaurant, staff was accommodating with early check-in. Offered shuttle to airport, which was very close. Only real problem was very poor wifi connection

We actually stayed here for two nights at the beginning of our vacation, and then stayed again the final night when we returned to Portland because we liked it so much. For the price you couldn't ask for much better - it smelled very clean, staff was very friendly for the most part, good location close to the light rail, just an easy, good value.

Good location, close to MAX station and airport. Person on check-in desk told me check in was 4 PM until I reminded her it said 3 PM on their webpage. Webpage said small continental breakfast was provided but didn't see any evidence of that. Overall, clean w/ good amenities (I like that Days Inn provides ironing board & steam iron), altho room was next door to staff quarters, so somewhat noisy.

Not bad, but not great either. Early check in was at extra $$, I have recently stayed in other comparable hotels and early check in was free. I have a friend that smokes and the owner rudely advised "YOU BETTER GET A SMOKING ROOM". Smoking rooms smelled, not horrible but not great. Breakfast was on the very poor side. We only stayed at this hotel to be close to the light rail. I would suggest staying at the other days inn in Portland.

Could not understand the staff upon check-in. Room was small and smelly.

THE ROOM WAS VERY CLEAN WE STAYED 3 NITES -IT WAS TALK LIKE A PIRATE DAY---WE WENT TO PIRATE FEST UNDER THE ST JOHNS BRIDGE

[...] The motel is older and has had a fresh coat of paint...it is pretty much what is expected in the price range no surprises[...].
