The refrigerator leaked all over the floor, had to unplug it. The bathroom had mold on tile joints, the bathtub had been painted with a brush and the rust was still visible. The room needed to be aired out, smelled . It served it's purpose, but we will not stay again or recommend.

This is a pretty standard issue shore hotel- the 1970's decor and general shabbiness of the outside of the hotel might be dissuading, but the rooms are pretty big and have TVs, fridges, and full size tubs. The pool is lovely, and the price is right. You can definitely walk to the beach/boardwalk in about five minutes. The linens were clean, though there appeared to be some minor maintenance needed throughout the hotel itself. The staff was friendly- I had an issue with a double charge, and they solved it with very little issue. The other hotel guests were partying, which I love but may not be great for families. Two thumbs up, I'd stay again.

Our first room they gave us had water all over the floor from a dripping air conditioner. The second room was just dirty. The bathroom toilet looked like it hadn't been cleaned ever. The tub was peeling paint chips. I opened up a dresser drawer and there was garbage in it. I guess when your located so close to the boardwalk you can rent a room that looks like anything.

The hotel was a dump. It was not clean @ all. thank goodness we brought are own sheets and blankets

When we first got to the hotel the man at the front desk was extremely nice and informative. Its was nice and clean in our non smoking room. The pool is nice and clean too.

The rooms had mold the ceilings leaked when it rained there were drug dealers at the hotel they were women of ill repute at the hotel the ceiling leaked when it rained the night manager which drunk every day they were fights and the police were called every day the pool had been condemned and the hotel staff open it up anyway they never came to pick up trash it sat in the hallways the pictures of hotel online we're not of the hotel we stayed at

On arrival, we were given 2 towels for our whole family. The room itself was clean, but needs updating. Continental breakfast - after asking where it was -- man at desk placed a gallon of milk and a package with 4 small mini muffins on the counter. There was a container with cheerios already there-- for how long? No utensils or napkins. The beds were not made or trash removed while we were out (stayed 2 nights). When asked staff about it we were told that we need to ask and let them know that we are leaving. Another staff member showed up at the door a few minutes later and said that they do not enter the rooms when no one is there because of jewelry missing, etc. We did hand him the trash which he took and disposed of. The worst was the partying all night long -loud- and some were hotel staff. The pool had a lot of bugs in it. The only good things were comfortable beds, micro and fridge.

horrible, pool was green, room was dirty, then I had an issue with getting my refund for 3 nights that I didnt stay, bad, horrible customer service. If you dont take my word for it, go there and see for yourself.

Long story short, we had to request to change our room 4 TIMES!!!! The rooms smelled like humidity and other unfamiliar substances. definitively, this is not a recommendable hotel for families.

pool was less then clear. internet was not working. rooms needed some attention, less then clean, but no bugs that was good!!! staff was very friendly, and helpful, made attempts to correct problems, but couldn't.

We had a very bad experience at the motel. We were extremely upset by the unappealing appearance of the rooms. The wallpaper was peeling from the walls, there were uncovered bulbs in the bathroom, the bathroom door did not close fully, and the t.v. did not work and we had to have someone come in several times to make it function. The shower water was lukewarm and we had to ask for soap, shampoo and paper cups or tissues. When we looked out our window we saw trash, a discarded chair, a large water tank, discarded t.v. stands. The moldings on the buildings were broken and falling off and the walkway had roughly covered holes. There was internet access but we were unable to sign on to the internet. The staff tried to address our concerns but the overall experience left us feeling like we were living in a slum. We were not able to park near the hotel and were forced to park down the street where heavy rain created a flood around our car. The breakfast was stale and what was offered was put away before the time allotted. The staff told us the hotel was in transition. When we arrived we drove around for 45 mins. trying to find the hotel and when we finally found it, we realized we'd driven past it several times but couldn't see the sign with the new name because a large van with a broken back window was parked on the sidewalk in front of the sign, which was on the sidewalk.

Me and my 3 girlfriends stayed here, all 4 of us had huge bumps on our bodies 2 days later, turns out we all got bit by bed bugs This effected us for 4 days, I would never stay here again, the manager had the nerve to offer me a free room as compensation, really? I wouldn't stay here even for free.

The check-in and check-out times were different then on this website. check-in was at 2pm and checkout was at 10am. The room had dirty towels, old cigarettes, and old toothpaste still in it. It smelled of alcohol and smoke. It was disgusting. They also charged my a different price then what i was told over the phone when i was already there,.

This hotel was very very scary. It was so so very dirty there were dead cockroaches on the floor. EVERYTHING was dirty!! the sheets(hair balls under the blackets), the floor the pillows the beds were so old you coould feel every spring. We hardly slept because we were so freaked out by the dirt and bugs we were itchy all night .The pool was dirty and the carpeting around pool was all ripped and pulled up. It was the worst hotel i have ever stayed in. I wouldnt have paid 5$ to stay there. The health department needs to be called on that facility. and It needs to be condemed. Please please do not ever go to this Villige inn. Gross!

filthy smelly hotel. times are listed wrong check out 10 am! crazy check in 2pm hope they close

Could not find ice machine. Had confirmation check out at 12:00 but maid banging on door at 10:30 stating check out was at 10:00. Pool was OK

Pulling up to the place there was a filthy ambiance. Dirty very dirty (Filthy). Windows disgusting, curtains hanging, electrical piping broken in multiple places.. L and I must be paid off. Walking into the office. The smell was unbearable. This is the Ocean and Bay area not body odor area. Asked for key... checked out room. Totally DISGUSTING!!!!. Never cleaned, filthy floor, mirror never cleaned and refrigerator had mold inside. Can you say Health Department? Yes. Waiting for my refund for two nights. Had to spend more money to get another place. Can't even say how bad the pool was. I will be calling the Department of Health in Dover Twp.

We stayed out of our room as much as possible. It was filthy and discustingly dirty. The vacuum had not been run and the room wasn't clean. There was pretzels and peanuts thrown all over the room. Im not sure the linens were changed. We didn't get washcloths. The water barely worked and there was hair all over the tub. It was a LONG walk to the beach. The pool was closed and we coulnd't use it. This was the most discusting repulsive place I EVER spent money on in my life. We cut our vacation short due to the place. I couldn't even get a refund. The people that run the place were living in the hotel lobby. NEVER again will I use your site to help find a room. Your company should really look at the motels you have on your site. Filthy, Grose, Discusting, Repulsive, Nasty, Awful, Dirty, Sickening.

The rooms were very plain. No TV remote. Limited cable channels. No phone in room.
