As a Platinum Marriott member, I was very disappointed with the San Ramon Residence Inn. Front desk statff at check in and during stay challenged. House keeping did not provide in-room regular coffee, with front desk clerk unable to provide as "he was the only one there". Hotel requires material upgrade. I concur with the negative reviews and do not plan to return.
My husband stayed 3 weeks for work. I met him for last 1.5 weeks. Hotel is simple and clean. Breakfast is your usual continental. Staff is accommodating. Would stay again. Nothing fancy, but has all of the necessities
Stayed a week here during a business trip. The room was huge and had a full kitchen. The bed was very comfy also. It also had a couch and table where you could sit and watch tv and a desk for getting some work done. WiFi was also very good. Definitely a great spot for a business trip.
My first time in California. It was a pleasure to stay there for almost a week. I enjoyed my little races on the road next to the hotel. The breakfast was pretty good. The hotel has a confortable ubication, near to several shops.
I've made ten week long stays here for work in the last year and overall had good experiences. I appreciate the breakfasts, it's enough variety that I haven't gotten tired of it yet. The rooms are spacious. Housekeeping quality seemed to drop off in the winter but has improved this spring/summer. Occasional issues trying to use shuttle, suggest asking in person at front desk in advance. Lots of restaurants and a grocery store in walking distance. I recommend co-workers stay here.
This hotel is conveniently located to the highways. It is near a gas station and car wash. Across the way is sort of a mini mall with a supermarket, restaurants, pubs, and antique stores. The rooms are clean but the elevator was out in the main building.
I stayed here for a week in June 2017 and the level of service I received was shameful. To get somebody to answer the phone at reception when you're in your room is a real challenge, one evening it took over 30 minutes and about five phone calls to get an answer, and the person who answered said "I've been here all along", which was clearly Untrue. Breakfast is best avoided but if you must then I suggest you stick to the basics, the eggs were a joke amongst our group, and the bacon no better Positive sides are big rooms and it's pretty clean although a little bit old. Marriot should consider major changes to this hotel or rebranding it as something else because it damages their brand every time A traveler stays here
I was in the hotel just for 4 days while I was in some meetings related with work. The location of the hotel is good as is near to an aérea where you have restaurants and places to buy food or other stuff. The rooms are quite old, the TV of the room is an old plasma ( almost impossible to do a zapping between channels). Breakfast area was poor, they don't offer as other hotels an area where they can prepare an omelette or different types of eggs. Service at the front desk was good.
This hotel is close to our head office as are a number of other chain hotels. I like this one as the rooms are apartment style with their own kitchens. I travel extensively and get fed up of eating Hotel food so the ability to cook my own food is a rare treat. The staff here are very friendly and accommodating which is also part of the reason I stay here. Keep up the good work and see you next time.
Have stayed here for many years and must say this is like second home. The place boast a full fledged kitchen and that makes it ideal for long stay. The concept of day room and bed room is excellent. The staff is good and helpful. Breakfast do tends to get a bit repetitive esp on long stays but it's good and sufficient. The shuttle to nearby offices is a boon as taxis are not easily available nearby. Overall a good place but one star missing cos no I house room dining. Thanks
