We arrived a little early...no room available yet, since people wanted to extend their stay. Rhianna was wonderful & very professional

From the front desk person to all of the other staff, everyone went out of their way to help me. As a handicapped person, that really made a difference to me. I will stay there again.

This is the best place that we have ever stayed. I cannot describe how clean it seem to been. It was very clean! In the room, they thought of everything. Highly recommend this place!

The hotel was basic, but it was all that was available the weekend that we needed it. The breakfast was decent for being free of charge. The room itself was just okay.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. The room was very spacious and had a kitchen if needed. The breakfast was one of the best set-ups I've seen for a continental breakfast. It also came with appetizers during dinner time, which was enough food that we did not need to go out for dinner. Great find!

Overall this was a nicer-than-average, average hotel. All the things you expect in a 3 star. However, there is very limited parking, and I had to park in a spot that may have belonged to the business next door. Not sure of the solution, but a traveler has to have place to park the transportation (and feel safe about it).

Their staff is amazing and they're close to a few guilty pleasures: In and Out and Bodyline Spa.

Very good value - particularly excellent breakfast. Well-appointed, reasonable. Will stay again

We drove from NM - were planning on stopping 1/2 way somewhere to spend Friday night -- however -- due to last minute things that came up, ended up driving 18 1/2 hours --- straight thru to San Ramon. We arrived around 10am. I knew it would be a long shot to try and get an early check in at that time, but thought we'd try anyway - I even offered to pay an additional fee. The desk clerk was very friendly and helpful and said she actually had 2 rooms that hadn't been rented the night before and could get us in a room right away. The manager [...] (no name tag) ran out of his office and said they could not accomodate the request, because they were putting brand new furniture in all the rooms. The desk clerk said she'd call us as soon as they had a room available and that, on a positive note, we'd have brand new furniture in our room. 3 hours later, I had not heard from the hotel - I called and asked if they had any rooms available yet and was told they could not do ANY early check ins that day. At 2pm we drove over to the hotel, three guests were checking in, I was told that my room was not ready and it would be another 1/2 hour to an hour before I could check in. On my way out of the lobby, 2 more guests checked in. At this point I was confused, was I not being given a room because I was Hispanic or because I had already pre-paid on-line and would lose my money if I cancelled, or because I had booked on-line with a travel website???? I solved the problem by going to the car, getting my pillow and making myself very comfortable in the lobby. My room was magically ready in less than 5 minutes. Yes, the hotel was beautiful (except for the view from our room, which was an ugly, abandoned paved lot with weeds and trash), it didn't even matter to me that the room DID NOT have brand new furniture, the beds were very comfortable --- but due to the way we were treated, we will NEVER stay there again.

We visited family (less than 1 mile away). Room was very adequate.

When we checked in we found the staff friendly and knowledgeable. However, when turning our bed to to turn in for the night we found a "used "condom" wrapper on the floor next to the bed. When I reported to the staff member at the front desk he offered a half hearted apology. The next day upon returning to the room we found the attended hadn't provided any coffee for the room requiring a trip to the lobby. The "WiFi" system was less than adequate, in fact most day's I couldn't use my laptop at all. Finally, the hotel was suppose to a "bistro" Monday through Friday, however the Bistro wasn't provided the last twwo nights.

The breakfast was wonderful and had several hot items each day to choose from! The pool was perfect and had large steps for small children to play on. The room was impressive but small (studio) for a family. Next time we would choose a suite.

The stay was very nice and comfortable, it was also close to the place that we were visiting.

Nice location and beautifully furnished room, but toilet paper was cheap (single ply) and the complimentary breakfast was not available until 7 a.m., long after we had resumed our travels.

The Hotel Sierra is one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed in. The people are very nice that work there and all the amenities are top notch. I recommend this hotel if you are staying in the San Ramon area.

The Sierra Suites in San Ramon offers the comfort of home along with an excellent support staff. There was a kitchenette, sitting area and a bath, separate vanity and comfortable sleeping area. The wireless availability was great for business. The breakfast buffet on the weekend was great and the pool area very nice. There's also a workout room which is on the smaller side but very functional. It is close to supermarkets, restaurants and specialty stores.
