Would have liked more consistency with cleaning our room.

Will never gi back

Great stay. The staff were extremely respectful and helpful during our stay. The only downside is that the restaurants were completely booked giving us just the buffet and one restaurant our last night as an option, guest should be able to reserve in advance.

Checking in was not smooth. Although we have teenage kids, not young ones, they routed us to the family club, which is not the usual check-in area. It was difficult to find, and the staff explained nothing about the resort. They just handed us a map and that was it. We asked them about making a dinner reservation, and the guy walked us through the website reservation and confirmed it, but then a day later, the reservation disappeared from our list. We had to then go to concierge to ask for help but was not well received. After an hour of argument, the 3rd person we had to talk to finally gave us a reservation. The restaurant food Miso Thai, turned out to be horrible food. It is nothing like Thai food. Do not waste your time. La Fleur was decent. The Mexican restaurant was also horrible. How could they make bad Mexican food in Mexico?! Back to the lodgings, I don't know if it is because our room was in the family club, which we didn't want or need to be in, the rooms are in bad shape. Everything is old and breaking down. I wouldn't stay there again.

The transportation is expensive.

What a paradise

We loved everything about this beautiful resort!!!

All rooms had mold smell

Our worst experience ever in Mexico. They tried to tell us all of the restaurants were booked everyday so our only option was the buffet. We had to argue just to get to eat anywhere else and it was almost impossible to get all 5 in our party at one table. They said that was too hard because it required them to move tables. We had animal poop on our balcony, roaches in our room, no hot water ever (showers were icy cold), bugs everywhere, little animals that would grab your plates and cups right from your hands, room service costs extra, we never once found a golf cart for transportation so we had to walk 2 miles to food, and our tv didn’t work. It was a horrible experience. Do not recommend. For reference, this is my first negative review.

staff encounters were mostly rude.

The hotel is nice and the room is good. The areas around it are beautiful. The bad thing about the stay in this property is the service. I had to do a complain the first day after seating in the buffet to have breakfast and spend 20 mins and nobody came to ask me for a beverage. The food is not that good. They dont have a variety of food like other all-inclusive hotels. The restaurants are nice and the disco is ok. Long check in and to leave the property they did not have anyone to pick up the baggage at the room so we had to walk all the way to the lobby with it. Overall not that good experience and it is so dissapointed because the property is beautiful, and decent, but the lack of good service makes the stay poor. 2 days after the complain, the service manager came to apologize, and that is it. I believe this hotel receives a lot of people but they staff are not well trained to provide good service and earn their tips. The entertainment is good though.
