SpringHill Suites by Marriott Pittsburgh Airport

3.0 out of 5.0

Needed a place close to the airport for an early morning flight the next day. Room was very clean and comfortable. Wish I could say more, but we were in late and out early.

Great hotel. Very convenient to the airport. Could use some upgrades, staff could be friendlier, but overall great stay.

Close to many restaurants and only 10 min from the airport. The shuttle will take you there and back. You can leave your vehicle at the hotel for free.

The room was what you'd expect in terms of condition. It was sorely lacking in some of the most basic amenities, however. No water bottles in the room or the refrigerator. The vending machine was broken on the floor. The hotel's computer lacked an operating system that was compatible with any program, meaning I couldn't even print my boarding passes (which the hotel desk couldn't do for me). I reserved the shuttle to the airport the night before my departure and arrived in the lobby to be told that the shuttle was being repaired. THey had to scramble around calling sister hotels to get me a ride. Overall, a very disappointing stay

The room was not the cleanest one it was not what I expect out of them

Staff was great, very friendly, great customer service. The facility and the room were nice, clean, and comfortable. I would recommend this hotel without hesitation.

We needed a place to crash for the night while we were on our way to our final destination (road trip!). This turned out to be the perfect stop in a super convenient location. We will defiantly be staying here again on future road trips.

We met 3 other families for a pre-holiday stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and always around to help. The rooms were very clean and well appointed. You'll need the extra blankets though as the bedding is very thin. Breakfast was as we expected and worked well with 7 kids. Great location, very clean, and family friendly. Highly recommend! The only drawback is the pool is very small.

We had a good stay at this hotel. The staff was all exceptional (especially the evening/night reception person, Ryan). The room was comfortable, well equipped, and very clean. The only complaint I could find about the room is that the key cards were tricky. The WIFI was painless to log into and use and managed even a Skype connection. We were facing the highway and did not notice any noise. The pool was a bit chilly, but that was easily offset by the hot tub. The free breakfast was good and staffed with a really sweet lady who helped our daughter make her breakfast waffles. I will definitely look to stay here and at similar properties in the future.

Average stay. Sofa bed was provided without any bed sheet and blanket. It was not great.

Everyone there was so friendly and helpful. Room was very nice. We had a great trip, just wish it could have been longer. There were a lot of places around to eat. Would be nice to have a map of local items that were within a 5-10 mile radius. Thanks

I had a very pleasant experience at this hotel. It was very clean and had a good staff. The only downside was the group of drunk people that were hanging around the front desk.

room was very spacious bathroom needed updated the bath tub and sinks didnt drain well

Fantastic hotel!!Really loved the stay. I will recommend this hotel to everyone.

The pool was small and the hot tub was always busy, but over all, this place is very nice. The room was clean, and the breakfast was awesome. The staff was very helpful.

The room was, spacious, clean and nicely decorated. The kids loved the continental breakfast, which had a wide selection and made things so convenient. The fridge and the microwave in the room worked out great for those late night snacks. We had a wonderful stay!

We got a lot with a really good rate. It's just a short drive into downtown Pittsburgh which is what we were looking for.

I wanted to stay at a hotel near the airport, and also wanted a minimal kitchen (refrigerator at least), so this place fit the bill. The kitchen consisted of a small refrigerator and tiny microwave (some other chains offer an actual kitchenette, so if that's what you need, keep looking). I used the fitness room several times. Like most hotels, it was tiny, but all the machines were in good working order. The pool and hot tub looked nice but I never got a chance to use them. The breakfast buffet was decent. I tried the eggs one morning and was not impressed enough to have them again. But I was happy with oatmeal and bagels. I heard some other people say that the "make your own" waffles were good. One down side: my room only got cleaned about every other day, and even then they did not always remember to refresh the coffee and shampoo. I was running on a late schedule, so this might not be a problem if you are out of your room every morning when they come around for cleaning. Also, the breakfast starts and ends early on weekdays, later on weekends -- very logical but exactly opposite my schedule, since I was basically still on Pacific time during the week, then had to get up and out very early for my flight home on Saturday. Again, probably works perfectly for the majority.

Brought the grandchildren along so we could have some family fun in the pool! Great time!

This was in an amazing location within a few minutes of the Airport, Mall at Robinson, Settler's Ridge Shopping Area, Ikea, and many, many other shopping and dining areas. You also have easy access to I-376 and Rt. 22 and are only a few miles from First Niagra Pavillion or downtown Pittsburgh. I have never had a bad experience staying at a Spring Hill Suites and this one was just as good as the rest.
