Beautiful secluded property on the bay and a few minutes from the airport. There's an excellent restaurant on the property a short walk from the hotel. Nice outdoor bar by the pool. And a boardwalk nature walk that is very nice.
The room was clean and up-to-date. View over the bay was beautiful. The pool, beach, nature walk and gazebo were a great surprise. Make sure you check it out, we saw some dolphins while we were there.
The property is not near anything walkable. The main pool at the hotel is closed and the other pool is 1/4 mile away. We had to fight to get the room we booked. The hotel told us the king bay view we booked was not available for are first night and might not be for the entire stay. 10-15 minutes of texting with Orbitz customer service and they fixed the problem.
The property was well maintained.The restaurant for breakfast lunch and dinner was excellent. The pool was small but also well maintained. The oyster catcher had good food and the outside bar by the pool was appreciated.

Had dinner at 1823 restaurant and needed to use the restroom. The only bathroom in the lobby had one toilet and it was out of order???? Staff didn’t seam to care ended up having to cut dinner short in order to go upstairs to use a bathroom. Pool is being remodeled so no swimming. Overall it was an very bad experience at the “Not So” Grand Hyatt.
The hotel grounds were beautifully kept. The boardwalk is lovely. Staff was all very polite. The toilet leaked water from the bottom when you sat on it. Water pressure in the shower was very low. Borderline unusable. AC struggled to keep room cool during the day. You have to pay to park. Only Tesla chargers bring your adapter. The main pool and surrounding area were not lit at night during our stay.
Outdated rooms and bathrooms. half of the light bulbs did not exist or did not work.

Room smelled foul. And the ac didn’t cool, had to so for fan. Then the shower handle was broken couldn’t adjust water temperature. And the room smelled like old cigarettes. We got in late and had a baby with us so we just went to sleep rather then have techs come in to help out. Very disappointed
