The staff were friendly and helpful and the room clean. New mattress. The rest was dilapidated as it is obvious that the owner cares little about maintenance. Carpet has been removed and replaced by vinyl tile. The heater is full of lint and dust and could only be shut off by unplugging it. Water wouldn’t get hot in the sink. Did get a good nights sleep.

This property inside and out was dirty. The front desk staff was the general manager and he was kind. The first room we were and the air conditioner did not work. Whenever I went down to the front desk he looked at me like I was crazy but of course he cordially gave me a new room. The new room was dirty I wipe something off the door and it turned the towels black and when I say black it was brown I don’t know what it was it doesn’t matter I just know I will never stay there again. The amount of stains on one of the mattresses was beyond disgusting and I really hope someone takes over this hotel and does a complete makeover!

The room had dirt smudged walls, non-working lighting, and a broken panel on the bathroom vanity light fixture. I stayed there a few years ago and do not recall this level of uncleanliness. The ice machine was broken and broken down looking. There also was a musty smell in the room. Granted, there had been a lot of rain in previous days but that smell does not happen just because the days prior were rainy.

No hair dryer in room. Ask for one, didn't get it.

it’s close to hanging rock, pilot mountain state park and my. airy.

Very dated bedding was old and worn. The toilet leaked water after a couple of flushing. Wash cloth had a couple of long black hairs matted into it. Overall would never stay here again.

Staff was nice (stayed pretty frustrated with the reservation system). Room was clean. This is an old hotel - really, REALLY old. For the years, it's ok. Tubs had been refinished and the finish was peeling off. Bathroom sink didn't drain very well. I'm not super picky but I chose to skip the icky shower and the free breakfast. I just needed a place to sleep one night. Sheets and blankets had cigarette holes burned in them. I had two rooms reserved and this was the situation in both rooms - I'm surprised they haven't had a serious fire based on the burns in the bedding. Good TV. A/C was fair. It was quite. For the money, it's OK. There isn't anything else to choose from in this little town. They just need to address the really bad stuff like the cigarette burns and the peeling tubs.

Good value. Less than one hour from High Point Market, but without the hassle for a short visit there.

We were very happy with our stay at this hotel. The hotel was easy to find since it was right off the road. It is close to gas stations as well as a couple restaurants. We stayed here for 2 nights and found our stay to be very comfortable. The room itself was in need of some TLC but was clean which is our main concern. There were some problems with our suite such as the lighting didn't work in the second room, the toilet didn't flush. I informed the hotel staff of the problem and they sent someone to fix the problem. The lighting was fixed but the toilet still didn't flush correctly. The staff was SUPER friendly at check in, check out and when I informed them of the problem. Our room was cleaned and they didn't wake us up at the crack of dawn to service the room. We would stay here again!

Would make nice place for a two day get_a_way . Happy with our short stay. Was a economical break in our drive.

Hotel staff were great, they were friendly and knowledgable about the area. The room was clean and price was resonable . We will be going back the next time we are in the area!

Clean. No refrigerator unless you upgrade to suite.

Friday night we had no hot water no water pressure. Hotel cut the water off Saturday morning, glad we had showers, came back at the end of the day, the water was still off. Carpet outside the bathroom was wet but bathroom floor was dry, so the bathroom had been mopped. When the water was cut back on the toliet started spraying water over the bathroom floor. The bathroom floor stayed hot like the hot water was leaking underneath the floor and warming the tiles. It rained all day Saturday and room furniture set all over the parking lot falling apart
