Lobby area was good, but our room was rundown. Tub had cracks and wrinkles and the toilet paper dispenser pulled away from the wall when I pulled the roll. The beds were clean, though, which is all we needed for our four hour stop on our way to the beach.
it was nice i dont know what people is expecting from econo lodge but it was great staff was good and help me on all they can they were renovating the property that what it look like pool was clean and good
Paid about $100 dollars (which included tax) for this room for one night. It was unspeakably vile--except for the pleasant lady at the front desk at check-in and check-out. Falling-in drywall. (See pics.) Electrical outlets didn't work--as in I couldn't turn on the light over the restroom sink. In-house coffee pot didn't turn on despite multiple outlets--and now I've got a dead Mac. Wifi intermittent at best. No fridge. Trash on the floor. A parade of people outside my door at 0300--not the motel's fault, but kinda creepy. Slept on top of the sheets for fear of B.B. Didn't shower for fear of same. TV worked well. I'll give it that much. Yuck.
I already wrote a review but failed to mention no tv controller either. Not clean No coffee maker No phone Air co ditioner poor No tv remote No frig Smoke stink The only motel in the town and worst in this category I have ever bee in.
When we stayed at this motel for the weekend we brought our wives on this motorcycle trip for a Saturday event at a friend's house in East Bend, NC. Unfortunately the room was livable but that was about it. There was mold in the place, and you could tell by the smell, cleaning inside the room was decent but just regular maintenance needed to be done outside on the stairs, and stairwells. Frankly, this place needs to be torn down and a new place built in its spot. It is sadly beyond its years. There is no wifi to speak of so don't plan on having any. The bright spot is that it is next to a great restaurant called the Mountain View. Great buffets and steaks! All the food was good actually. Great place to eat!
The front desk people were helpful and friendly. The room was clean and the color scheme was pleasing. There were no Queens or kings on the lower level so we were offered a room with two doubles. It was okay, especially since we did not feel like lugging luggage upstairs. The bathtub stopper did not work. The towel rack fell out of the wall. The staff did not check on breakfast much requiring that we ask for the milk to be refilled. The breakfast had make your own waffles, fruit, cereal and packaged sausage biscuits.
My boyfriend an I enjoyed our stay they were fixing problems an updating alot when we visited an they were petfriendly there were good an bad one great was staff very friendly an helpful our truck battery was dead one morning an office called maintenance an they jumped us off as we spoke to the management they explained they were trying to renovate an apologized for any inconveniences this may have caused during our stay would stay again looking forward to seeing changes when I return
This was the last room available in the area or we would not have stayed here. The conditions of the room were absolutely unacceptable to say the least. Cleanliness should not be too much to ask for when you rent a hotel room. The sheets were filthy. You will see pics of that. It seems as if someone took the sheets and flipped the dirty part to the bottom of the bed so you couldn't see the nastiness if you pulled the sheets back. The faucet was filthy. The wallpaper was stapled on the wall. And we definitely did not walk without shoes on the floor. Electrical outlets did not work nor did USB ports. There was old chairs, vacuum cleaners, heating/ac units in the stairwell area. It was filthy as well, leaves, dirt etc. Needless to say we did not eat the breakfast. We would never stay at this property again or recommend it to anyone. We would sleep in our car first. This property is in dire need of improvements. It is so sad when it is such a beautiful area that the hotel is so disgusting.
Walked into the lobby was hit with a horrible odor of cigarettes. Wallpaper stapled to walls, roaches, mold, ice machine didn't work, pool nasty, toilets didn't flush. dumpster in parking lot had old mattresses and furniture. GROSS
Green pool water, u can not see the bottom of the pool, told the front desk, they said it was safe to swim in, this is NOT safe for kids or adults, we had a suite room, holes in the bathroom ceiling, ice machine does not work, cracks in the walls, extremely disappointed, refrigerator in room does not work, everything we told the front desk/staff they did not help us, during the continental breakfast we had cobwebs in the napkins which ruined us from eating anything, 100% nasty
