The hotel is very nice. The breakfast is good service is a little slow. Spa and gym are excellent with a very helpful staff. Open 7am to 10pm. My room was comfortable but needs an update linens and carpet are very old.
My friend was getting married and spending the night here. I rented a room next to her for me and my friends to get ready. It was a great experience ! We had connecting rooms and plenty space for 6 of us to get ready. Big comfy desk for our hairdresser and makeup artist to work comfortably. Breakfast is included on sundays as a special, I did not know that when booking the room and also, late check out! It was much more than expected. No free wifi, but that is the norm around here. Pool was amazing!
essentially it is a 3 star hotel with aspirations. spa and swimming pool are quite something, restaurant is pretty standard and rooms are just fine. the only plus one of the whole experience is the remote location from the city. if you want to pretend to be far from everything this is your spot. and please ignore the highway, its near but not too close.
Sheraton Pilar has a perfect location next to Panamericana Highway. The rooms are big enough, buffet breakfast is very good and the outdoor park is really beautiful. The service is fantastic, we used the Spa and the Indoor and Outdoor swimming pool and everything was perfect. Not cheap but highly recommended!.
We booked 4 rooms on the occasion of our daughter's wedding. Warmest day in December we had no AC in our room. No light in another room Stained carpets Holes of burnt cigarettes in the bed cover Loose curtains Rundown faucets and bathrooms Bathroom curtains with fungus
This hotel is located on Panamericana Highway (Route 9) located in Pilar area Good and easy access, 48 kms far away from Bs As city Its servicews are good, very good accomodations, very nice swimming pool area, and its restaurant Las Vasijas For both either family or business trip is recommendable For business you can find very good meeting rooms and also different alternatives as convention centers Price according to this hotel category
When you go to a Sheraton hotel, you know what you get. It's standard, no surprise in a positive or negative way. Hotel was expensive from my point of view 240 euros for a night. Swimming pool is very nice, park is huge.
We stayed here while attending a wedding near by. This is a big hotel so you don't get that personal experience, rooms are comfortable & clean with all mod cons. The out door swimming pools are very big but as this is a big hotel even the pool area can get crowded in the busy months. Lots of good restaurants nearby (within 5mins walk) & a big shopping centre only 10mins walk away. The reason I've rated this hotel 3 out of 5 is firstly the price is over the top for what you get & the system for check in needs to be reviewed especially at busy time we waited 40mins in line to check in with a small child (not a great start to our Sheraton experience we had so much be looking forward to) Other than this we had a very pleasant stay here.
I spent 3 weeks here in a business trip. I hace to say that the employees can do so much but the facilities do not help them. The building needs a lift up. Here are few pictures. The shower and toilet seat were fixed the same day I told them, but just having it at my check in, it is not a good sign!! The room view was excellent... Let's talk about meals: Eating at the restautant you can only do buffet which is pricy and need urgent improvement! If you want to order something else, it is extra!!!!! never seen this in any other hotel( Marriott, Hilton, etc) So I end up having my breakfast in my room for half of the price and what I want; this goes for Diner too!!! Facilities: Sauna comes with a price tag(????) Internet was not good but the IT personnel went the extra mile to make sure I had good signal, thank you guys!! The hallways really need improvement, carpet torn, uneven, dirty windows everwhere( main entrance, hallways, bedroom, etc, etc) The eleverators are nice but the glasses are dirty. A/C or Heating system: You will find a thermostat with temp settings "DOES NO WORK" there is a switch by the bed that YOU have to turn it on and off making you the thermostat, so to keep the temp controled, you have to wake up during the night to turn it on or off whatever you want ( heating or cooling). If someone is walking on the hallway and talking, you will hear everything!! ... very clear!!! so if you are like me(light sleeper) you will be awake very early, evenmore, on weekends, when parent let the kids go as they want (running) without teaching them manners and respect for others. My room was big and clean. The bed was nice. TV: Very poor channel options and many issues with the signal, on my last day, directv was doing some repairs.. I believe there is not much the employees can do, if the facilities are not updated and in perfect conditions... Thank you everyone in this hotel that make my stay less frustrating...
Room, breakfast, beautiful pool/garden area and overall installations - setting aside the limescale in the shower head - were all great. But that's about it. The rest was an absolute joke. For someone from Europe it was shocking to see that this hotel which sells itself as a full-on SPAs is part of the Sharaton brand. Lights in the sauna wouldnt work, no bathrobes, 15 degrees celsius in the male steam room and ridiculously uncooperative staff that wouldn't even acknowledge the problem ("the sauna is supposed to be that way") made an already mediocre experience unpleasant. Happy to provide details to the hotel's management but based on their complacent attidude when faced with these legitimate complaints my guess is that they've stopped caring about guest satisfaction long ago
