I stayed 2 nights in this vintage hotel. I start my review by saying that the best asset of this hotel is its staff: very friendly and very helpful. Pros: Location - northern part of Bucharest, quiet residential area, a green neighborhood (very close to Kiseleff Park), 15 minutes’ walk from the closest subway station (Victoria or Aviatorilor). That will give you the possibility to travel almost anywhere in Bucharest without using taxi service (be aware about “taxi sharks”). The room was clean and large enough for one person with a comfortable bed. The bathroom was also comfortable and well equipped. The restaurant is on the first floor. It is very clean and has a large balcony. The breakfast was okay, nothing too special. If you're a foodie you can visit one of the restaurants in the area. They served an excellent breakfast/lunch/dinner and have a great European style coffee. Very good airport transfer by their own taxi driver (very friendly and nice guy, I enjoyed my 4 a.m. ride to Otopeni airport) Cons: No elevators (big problem for disable person or if you have a lot of luggage). Not in room safe as per their internet advertisement. The air conditioning was noisy and inefficient. But the most important was the internet Wi-Fi service: even though the hotel has 3 different networks (a general one and another two for each floor) none of them worked during my stay there (big inconvenient if you need internet access for your work). I will definitely consider returning if they can fix the inconveniences mentioned above.
