Great place to take it easy. Rooms modern spacious and clean. Staff all friendly. A short beach walk to reach bars restaurants and massage parlours. Food great but a little more expensive than restaurants near by.

It's a tiny hotel with spacious rooms located in picturesque harbour. Perfect place to relax, forget about troubles and spend some time on your own. The beauty of the beach is breathtaking and impossible to forget.

The setting and room were so gorgeous we felt we were truly in our own peace of paradise. My husband and I were, regrettably, quite ill when we arrived and we could not have had a better place to rest and recuperate from whatever nasty bug we picked up. The beach could be improved by a morning sweep and this is not a good place to dip in the ocean because it is rocky. Food service and quality was a bit spotty but overall very good except for the fettucini bolognese which was vile. There are some excellent bars and restaurants within a short walk along the beach. We'd go back in a heartbeat.

The hotel is quite far and remote from anything else. Very quite beach. (you cannot swim in the sea!) so thats wonderfull if you are in search a of quiet place! Room is nice clean spacious and stylish! Bed is perfect (all trough we asked for an extra blanket). Amazing view nice swimming pools! Breakfast is good for a 4* hotel. -------- Food is way way too expensive. Walk down the beach and get food at "at the beach" (second one you will pass on you're right hand side) Massage is way overpriced you pay 1/2 at one of the massages along the beach. WiFi.. Well it works and disconnects sometimes.. There is (was) a big sign at the beach which tells: "ALL DAY HAPPY HOUR, BUY 1 COCKTAIL GET 1 FREE" so after ordering 2 cocktails they say happy hour is 5 till 7 and right away they removed the beach sign. Offering me nothing... Also staff speaks poor english. Left and right of the hotel is a lot of construction work for building new hotels. (you will not hear it) Beach is messy with glass.

My friend brought me there after a long ride in light rain. It was beautiful from a distance especially when we came down from a steep slope to reach the front of the restaurant area. We're impressed by the pool but surprisingly there's no other patrons. As we walked to the canvas pavilion and started ordering drinks the reality began to surface. Mosquitos came in swarm and the menu looks more like that of a luxurious hotel. The waiter didn't seem to know what we want. We then moved indoor to avoid mozzie attacks but futile. The aircond was off with doors wide open. The mosquito hazard peesisted and we quickly finished our drinks and left. Moral of the story, it's for your eyes only not for use.

This is a great 4 star hotel for a super relaxed stay. If you just want to spend a vacation doing nothing more than enoying the pool, the beach and great views this is the place to be. We had a few very calm days. We had a very nice room with a jacuzzi on the private terrace. The staff is very friendly, they dont always notice everything but once you point something out they will try their best to fix it. Big variety of great food (thai and western) against a fair price you can find further down the beach, at night with live music.

Firstly let's begin with the location. Cloud 19 is located in the South of Phuket, so far South that it takes over an hour and a half to get there from the airport. You'd think after such a long drive that you would be rewarded with a hotel that really does do its photos justice however this is not the case. Upon arrival we were shown 2 rooms, both overlooking the sea. The first we turned down as it was more of a view of the back of the reception building which was in much need of a lick of paint. We chose second as it had a good view of the sea, be it slightly far away. The room was basic but it was clean however for the price that we payed it would have been nice if the lights in the bathroom actually worked. The bathroom was very nice with a bathtub that had a lovely sea view. The sunset was also very beautiful. The Beach. Don't let photos fool you, the beach was dirty, littered with glass and rubbish. There is also a lot of construction work going on as there a couple of new hotels being built which look like they could be nice when completed. The Food. A bit like the bedroom, very basic, if you're a foodie this place isn't for you. That said if you walk down the beach there is a little beach bar that serves decent Thai food and fresh fish for a reasonable price. The pool was nice, well maintained and the sun lounger area was also nice with good views of the sea. However the toilets by the pool had a lot of bugs in and were also out of toilet paper. Our advise, don't stay here. It's below average and nothing special. It's expensive to get to around as it's so far away from everything and not nice enough so that you don't want to leave.

very nice hotel with friendly staff. quiet place to totally relax. Spa, massage amazing defo recommended. Rooms clear and neat with free Wifi. Beautiful view from gazebo. I am going to back in future.

I'm going to start out with the pros of this place is it's got to be the stunning views from our room. The massages were like heaven on earth. It's quiet and in a pretty remote location which means far away from restaurants and bars, which would be okay if the hotel offered good food and drinks, but I would say it's overpriced and less than mediocre food. Maybe one person in the entire staff speaks English which again would be fine if I didn't have them plan our excursions and because it was raining and thundering our excursion to the phi phi island didn't seem like a safe idea to us anymore and we called the receptionist who helped us book said she would cancel, come to find out we were charged 50 percent. We were not told that at booking which I think would have been important information. I would stay closer to town for more options for food, drinks and things to do. Cab drivers dreaded taking us back to the hotel and wanted to charge us way more. I don't recommend this hotel.

$6 for a cup of coffee, $24 for two people for breakfast. See the attached photo for what the beach actually looks like. You also can't swim at the beach. I can't understand why it has such great reviews. It's also in a location very very far from the airport ($30 cab ride) and is very remote so you can't go elsewhere for meals, etc.
