Welcomed with lovely smiles and free drinks on arrival, we choose lovely scents for our shampoo for our room, We we're then shown up to our room, lovely big spaces room, unfortunately room wasn't very sound proof could hear neighbors and people above our room especially early in the morning when cleaning people content pulling chairs out, would definitely recommend getting a top floor room as we would definitely do this next time around. Views from our room were reasonable, would of been nice to see part of the beach too but you were over lapping roof tops before the sea, still nice seeing the sea though. Breakfast was good, good choice every day and tasted yummy. Food slightly pricy and drinks in the hotel and lacking in choice especially as I'm a vegetarian, maybe they could look into making a menu especially for vegans or vegetarians. Cocktails we're very yummy though! Highly recommend, especially a strawberry daiquiri! 30% happy hour! Plum restaurant, beautiful incredible views especially the sala table we booked but unfortunately not much choice in food again, lovely presented but very small portion size to what we would of expected for the price we were paying. Need more shuttle service to local areas as taxi service is quite pricey, 500tb to phatong , you can haggle for the return trip though but no less then 400tb. Kamala , very small friendly place to go, few shops about and the small walk through market is good to get a bargain, don't pay full price have fun and haggle! They enjoy it too, from our hotel was a breeze walking down the little hill but go careful walking to the restaurants as you have to walk through the dark beach to get to it. Some of the restaurants were lovely along there and had more options for vegetarians. Definitely recommend trips, phi phi islands are out of this world! Make sure you do the over night stay! We only did the one day and regretted not staying over now! Next time definitely! When we checked out at 4am in the morning to travel back, we were welcomed with a little packed morning breakfast this was lovely and really enjoyed. The over all stay was perfect and we will definitely be returning back to Thailand in the near future. Thank you cape sienna
We hated our first room on level 1 overlooking dirty pebbled roof with limited ocean view. Staff relocated us to 4th floor the next day which was very nice with a lovely ocean view. Better to have a room away from lift as you can Hear people outside your room . Rooms are lovely. Wifi is average. 2 of the 5 nights there were no towels in our room. The main problem is no regular complimentary shuttle bus to and from kamala and/ or Patong. It's easy to walk to kamala but the walk back very challenging especially when you are hit and tired. It would be a wonderful service to offer even if the room rate needed to be higher to cover this . Staff were not very friendly .
Booked half board at Vape Sienna hotel. Second day after making a selection from the menu , both starters we wanted were not available also one of the main courses we ordered was not available. We told the staff we would have appreciated that they would have told us updront when they handed us the menu, which of the menu items were not available. We asked if the next day it would be available, which they confirmed. However the next day we we handed the menu and again after we made our selection they informed us that the stater we selected was not available. Really annoying. Advise for guest at Cape Sienna when having dinner , first ask what is not available from the menu to prevent this annoying experience .
Absolute heaven here, we loved every minute!! We stayed for 4 nights as we have never stayed in Kamala before and were worried that it may be a bit quiet bit this is a definate new favourite for us. The hotel is over looking the bay and the beach/town is a 5 min walk away. The facilities are fantastic here and the staff were great. Vanilla bar is perfect for watching the sun set with a cocktail or two and the pool is a great way to while away the afternoon. The sienna rocks pool (across the road) is the quieter of the pools and has amazing views from the infinity pool.
- Room was not ready till 2:30pm despite guests checking out at 12. Floor was still wet when we got our room. - Waited over 1hr for our meal ( sea bass + 1 pizza ) - Several of the sun beds were reserved by 8am in the morning, yet most were not actually used till 10am+ - Buffet breakfast had lots of choice however processed sausages, soggy hash browns and stale bread is not 5* standard. - Reception ordered us a taxi that over charged us 1000baht at the airport. Which is over priced for a taxi from Kamala. I understand this is not the hotels fault but I recommend guests organise their own transport than go via the hotel reception. You don't want your last few moments in Thailand spoiled by being ripped off. + beautiful views + room was clean + sea bass was nice + cocktails were delicious
We came here for holiday in April 2017 , hotel is pretty and the views are pretty but ...... Our room wasn't that clean there were lots of dust around toilet door and on the boards, hotel staff was nice apart from 2 people they were sort of customer relations My husband had birthday when we stayed there and hotel got this information , he never got any cake or room decoration I did complain about and the hotel said they do it but they must forgot , we did get cake in the end but ......I felt like I beg for it woman was question me about like I want extra free something Then the road was so noisy we couldn't sleep , We just felt all they care was our money We did half board never do it dinner was poor with 2 choices and dessert was plate of fruit which was left overs from breakfast Breakfast the same every day And the prices 🤡 And the best bit we got food poisoning I did ask in reception for help and they told me to go to pharmacy We won't come back here
I was quite pleasantly surprised at the hotel's offering (since the rates were quite cheap!) The rooms were lovely, had a great view. Breakfast spread was alright, it was just matter of fighting over pool side seats to enjoy your breakfast (well how else do you want to enjoy your holiday apart from having breakfast by the pool?). The gym was quiet, separated by one yoga room and another weights and equipment room. It was good enough to squeeze in a workout. Tip: To get to the infinity pool, you;ll have to walk across the road. So bring all your pool necessities at once if you do not wanna make too many trips. If you go during rainy season, be prepared to bring an umbrella with you and solid walking shoes as the stairs heading to your room can get slippery
We stayed One week at Cape Sienna in kamala beach Phuket . The room was beautiful att the views from all over the hotel was more than we expexted. Good deal in the Vanilla sky bar. Hotel was perfect but the service could have Been better in the Malin restaurant and the bar by the sienna rocks service was terrible.
went with friends to celebrate someone's 50th. great rooms, great view and good food. The staff was always helpful and pleasant. Will recommend this to both couples and families. wifi was a bit slow/ erratic.
Firstly i would like to mention about how expensive the food and drinks are in the hotel. The prices are insulting. If you order a poolside burger, it costs the equivalent of 12 english pounds. I have never paid that much for a burger in my life. You can then imagine what the prices are like for the rest of the food. The hotel is in Kamala which is pretty much a ghost town. You have to spend £20 each way to Pa Tong (the next town), which is busy and has many bars and restaurants at a reasonable price. The infinity pool, which you have to cross the road to get to, is shaded by big palm trees so there isn't a lot of sun, and the bar was closed for the best part of the day. The hotel didn't have any entertainment in the evening and the sky bar was always empty and the cocktails were £10 for a small glass. The Plum restaurant was almost £100pp if you include a drink. Food was great but still an expensive meal. I can't justify spending £200 for a meal for 2 people. Don't exchange your money in the hotel because they have a terrible exchange rate. WiFi isn't very strong unless you're in the lobby. Views are amazing, the service is okay, as well as the spa but this all that will satisfy you about this hotel. Ways to Improve: 1. Bring your prices down 2. Entertainment in the evenings 3. Improve WiFi for all rooms 4. Have a reasonable exchange rate 5. Offer a cheap taxi service to Pa Tong.
