The small paradise, bungalows nice and room very clean. The staff is friendly and he help you for everything... motorbike, trip and the best restaurant. The pool is original with 3 spas. The location is quiet. Close to village Rawai. It's better if you can rent the motorbike for visit the island.
we loved our stay at bamboo heaven. even though we had some difficulties with adapting to the island as a whole. but this guesthouse made up for a lot and coming "home" everyday to this beautiful and quite location was special. we enjoyed swimming in the small pool in the evenings when coming home. the only drawback was that there is no place to sunbath or enjoy the sun for a moment, if one doesn't want to be on a busy beach and just wants to sit quietly and relax, but every time we saw other places to stay while driving through the island we were so happy we were at bamboo heaven!
A beautiful surprise. The hotel is ideal for the relaxation, 5 bungalows with all confort and quiet. Nice central swimming pool in the middle vegetation . Very good service and the owner can book for you a very good trip and motorbike. The staff served a good breakfast on the terrace. I hope come back soon...;)
Me and my wife have stayed at Bamboo Heaven Home for seven times now, and i'm very sure that we'll come back again! It's located a short walk from Rawai with many lovely restaurants and bars, and it's only a five minute drive with a TucTuc (or motorcycle) to my favorite beach in Phuket - Nai Harn. The owner Ismael and his wife Ouane will do everything to make sure that your stay is pleasant and they are both very friendly and helpful. Their nice employee, Bee, will serve you a wonderful breakfast on your private porch every day between 8.30 and 10.30. It's not easy to get good quality coffee in Thailand, but at Bamboo you will get it every morning! It's a small place with only five bungalows, which makes it perfect for couples that want to relax. The clean and refreshing pool is only one step away from the porch and even though it's not private, it certainly feels like it is! The fact that we've stayed here for seven times probably says it all :)
Was there for 3 days. The bamboo bungalows are lovely and the the staff friendly and helpful. Loved the outside bathroom too. Breakfast is served as soon as you stick your nose out of the hut. Rawai beach is not too far for boat trips but it's better to rent a scooter for the time of your stay.
Stayed here over Xmas & New Year. From before we arrived Ismael the owner was helping us, he sorted a Taxi to meet us from the airport. We would not have found half the places without his help and advice. The bungalow was exactly what we wanted to relax and chill, such a tranquil place but just a short stroll or ped ride to the nearest restaurants/bars/massage etc. I can only state our personal opinions but..................we loved it!
Having stayed at 5 different hotels during our 2 week stay in Thailand, Bamboo Heaven Home was the perfect way to wind down before we went home and was a truly unique experience. I hadn't actually checked where in Phuket Bamboo was located and hadn't heard of Rawai so was a little nervous when we arrived but actually it was pretty easy (although a little expensive) to get around via taxi. The French owner was lovely and very helpful, he offered to rent us a moped and said it was a much easier and cheaper way to get around but we were scaredy cats and declined the offer - fortunately the staff at bamboo were very helpful and were happy to call taxis for us whenever we asked...which was pretty much twice a day. On our first night we had no idea where we could go for dinner and the owner kindly came and picked up us on his moped and took us to a restaurant in town! we were completely not expecting that - it just goes to show how helpful and willing he is to go the extra mile to keep his guests happy. The place itself was fantastic, the room was very spacious and even had a built in kitchenette with a microwave which was great, because eating out twice a day for 2 weeks can get pretty expensive! we ended up cooking our own noodles twice which saved us a little money. The bathroom was my favourite and the pool was great too. We also loved the friendly resident cats, the male ginger kitty in particular who came to our door and meowed until he was let in for belly rubs everyday that we were there :-) Having breakfast on the balcony was great too, I would definitely recommend this place to everyone who is looking to stay somewhere different and offers fantastic service. We would be very happy to return if we ever visit Rawai again - my only regret is running out of money on the last day so I wasn't able to tip the lovely ladies working at Bamboo because they truly deserved it. Thanks for a wonderful end to our holiday
What a place,we stayed in some great places on this trip but this place was faultless,5 bamboo huts,a pool running straight down the middle of them, outside bathroom that adds to the feeling you're in the middle of a jungle but with Rawai beech 600 metres from your hotel, moped rental on site, just ask and you'll have one waiting for you 200-350 baht a day.Breakfast brought to you in the morning(just ask and its there)and all this by a French guy who's so helpful and straight on everything and yes I said French, highly recommend this place and you won't be disappointed.FAULTLESS
My husband and I have just returned from Phuket, where once again, we had a great stay at Bamboo Heaven in Rawai. This little oasis is just perfect as a base to explore Phuket. Once again, Ismael was a brilliant host, and full of great ideas for those who are new to Phuket. He organised out airport transfers, and had our motorbike waiting for us on arrival. The bamboo bungalows are spacious and comfortable, and there have been some improvements. There is now a bamboo sofa & chair on the terrace, and a sort of trellis added with plants to give some privacy. And the lovely Bee, who brought us our breakfast every day, and who looked after us so well! I really cannot recommend Bamboo Heaven highly enough. It probably wouldn't suit you if you like corporate resorts where you could be anywhere in the world. However, if you want something a little bit different, and close to traditional, and you have the spirit of adventure, you'll love this. It's a great base - 15 minutes to Chalong Pier for diving, and 15 minutes to the best beaches, with loads of bars and restaurants close by. Thanks again Ismael, for a great stay. See you next time we are in Phuket!
The web site photo shows you'll have a very unique experence. The difference between a big hotel room with all the bells and whistles. and a place like Bamboo heaven with out all the creature comforts, but just enough to feel home like with maid service unlike than a super 5 star resort, and with all of them very much alike with always a big ticket attached. Well get ready for memories ! While traveling with another couple staying in our own bungalows accross from one enother. The staff, they are there to accommodate you . The owner doesn't have a problem making suggestions he helped us get on mopeds and it ended up being our 1 tour guide. We rode mopeds around and through the most beautiful mountains and beaches. One hour of riding fun and we all felt very comfortable. Going off season is great, less traffic no need fo taxi. At 1st we were hesitant to rent mopeds the 4 of us all 50 years and older. Going out with the owner he made it so easy and then we were on our own. All bungalows share a 50 ft long lap pool , that was my my favorite activity. Day or nite moonlite swim . Wow! We stayed a total 5 nites every morning and evening we found our self on our front porch having coffee, or eating fruit by the pool we chose not to leave when we discovered we needed another nite. If your looking for a busy tourist stay don't stay here! This place is truely peacefull and you might feel like home away from home. After a year of Hawaii Honolulu traffic, and our business responsibilities this made our stay feel different and relaxed and a very serene place to come back to after day after day beaching it. I recommend this to any one who wants quite, and different. Any where in Thailand I recommend cincinelia,or mosquito repellent. It might not be for every one but living in Paradise the way it may have been 100 years ago with a little modern comforts, like wifi, fridge, micriwave, pool and hot shower and a mosquito net. After all you are in Thailand and on Puket Island what more do you really need? This place could be criticised, but theres beauty in simplicity . Close to Blossoms massage studio which was the best on this trip. Near a french restraunt and shops and eateries around the waters edge in this Town of Rawai a small fishing comunity on the southern point of Puket Island.
