The hotel is a little further from outside restaurants. It’s not too far but would require some walking. It was very busy when we went so it was hard to get parking. Overall it was a good stay.

The beach view and beach access was great. The swimming pool was also quite refreshing. Rooms and overall place was clean and the staff was professional. The spa services and breakfast were also well above par.
Hotel was right on the beach and everything was amazing from room to staff to service to location to food. Will be back again Novotel Kamala is the place to be !

A great plus is that this hotel is not overcrowded like other hotels we stayed in Phuket; you can actually enjoy a full day at the swimming pool without having 100s of other tourists in your face. Cons: although the hotel looks nice and it's in a great location it needs more maintenance (it looks horrible from the road; good once your in though), and the beach is not clean at all.
The location is situated right at the beach and it feels really private. I felt I did exactly fully rest and charged my battery. Facilities provided are enough to stay there without going out for some activities. There are swimming pool, gym, steam room, spa(really cheap), restaurant and kids center. However, the closest Seven-Eleven may takes 20 - 25 mins walk.

For those doing their research on Kamala and its surrounds, we are only a 10 minute stroll down the beach to Kamala Village where you will find an abundance of little shops and restaurants, and we also provide 3 shuttles complimentary a day into Patong.
