The hotel is easy to find. It's off the 7th Street exit and a quick right down Van Buren. It will be on your right, just across the street from a gas station. I'm a low maintenance guy so all I need is a bed and a bathroom to freshen up. The price was what I payed for but I definitely believe it could have much better. I would recommend it for the basic value, but not for a high-class stay. The pros: 1. Centrally located to downtown and midtown Phoenix. Easy to find off of I-10. Phoenix is a city set up as a true grid to you can find your way to any location. 2. Cheap price compared to other hotels. It's also the off season in terms of pro sports. It's down the street from Chase Field and a number of other attractions. Free breakfast. 3. Plenty of parking. Wasn't an issue for me to find a decent space. 4. Comfortable bed. Microwave and fridge in the room which made it easy for me to keep meals for a couple of days. The cons: 1. Toilet seat was broken on one part, causing it slide easily. 2. Hot water was difficult to find with the shower knob. When I did find it, it wasn't hot at all. After a few minutes it started becoming lukewarm. 3. The free breakfast is what you get for free. Not a lot of options if you want a healthy meal. It worked for my basic needs.

The hotel staff were nice when I checked in and checked out. The area is fairly nice, though you are close to the fire station, so you hear sirens fairly often. The room was ok at first glance. Later, I was squishing a cricket crawling up the wall, finding a used fingernail file sitting on the desk chair, which was full of nail shavings. The bathroom was alright at first glance as well. Upon trying to shower however, things went downhill fast. There wasn't any truly hot water, the best I could get was warm. Then once I tried to switch to the shower, the whole piper system screamed and moaned in protest the whole time. The only way I could shower without the loud, obnoxious noises was if the water was on cold. Needless to say, it made the stay a bit less enjoyable. Then on the last night of my stay, some people roomed above me started their shower. The same noises were easily audible, but I dismissed them because it wasn't late, and I understood the problem. The people next to me however called management and blamed me for making the noise. I received a call from the manager who was fairly unpleasant. I explained it was the shower upstairs, but never received an apology. The wifi was slow and spotty at best, unavailable at worst. It's not an expensive hotel, so that's what you get.

Overall it was a great stay. There were a few times when the staff seemed bothered by the customers. But for the most part they were friendly.

Good stay, good value. Close to airport anamd a great park Popago park

They did not change the sheets amd towels during my stay of 3 days. When i mentioned it, receptionist lady just tried to give excuses for that.. although receptionist ladies were enough polite, cleanliness of the room was terrible, sheets and carpets with stain and so on..

The price of this hotel makes it perfect if you're on a budget. The rooms are big and the location is great. I would stay here again if I went to Phoenix for a night or 2.

We booked 3 rooms. Each room was filthy in its own way: one reeked of smoke, one had a stained tub (like someone had worn muddy boots into the tub but it wouldn't wash away), one had a bathroom that reeked of sewage. The motel is located in a part of town away from any sort of restaurant and all the neighbors have bars on their windows. We all felt too uncomfortable at the location to stay the night.

In town for convention. Wasn't too far to walk to the convention center. Good price. Breakfast selection was better than most that only have pastries.

I was in town for some Diamondbacks games and stayed a few extra days. The ballpark was about a 15 minute walk. The hotel has a mini mart across the street. It was also close to some downtown attractions and it offered free parking. The two chairs in my room were well worn, but the rest of the furniture seemed fine and the bathroom also seemed fine. The TV looked pretty new and air conditioning and mini fridge worked well. They also offered a free breakfast (waffles, cereal, toast, danish, etc.) The hotel seemed to be in a relatively safe area, I didn't notice any homeless people or rough looking characters hanging out around the hotel. I walked to the game each night and felt pretty safe. Overall, I felt I got a good deal from the hotel. Basic accommodations at a reasonable price, I would stay here again if I was in town.

We had an early morning business meeting downtown and this place was close by and convenient. It's not much to look at, but the room was acceptable and worked for us. We will stay here again if we need to return for another meeting.

This place was pretty cool. The owner, who is almost always on the premises is such a cool dude. I dreaded coming all the way out to Phoenix from Jersey for a work convention, but the staff were super friendly and hooked me up with a cab immediately whenever I needed to go downtown. They even opened the pool just for me when I had some down time before my flight. Rooms were extremely clean and comfortable. It's def not the Taj, but its a great place to stay for a very reasonable price. Can't wait to come back.

Was a great hotel friendly staff very clean room very nice and quite

Everything was very nice very clean room staff was friendly and kind and very helpful will be staying every time im in phx no bad words about it will tell every one i no that its the best

Close to the locations I needed to get to, staff was courteous and the gentleman behind the desk gave me a location for a great locals restaurant I would never have known about with a great down home steak dinner. I will stay again on my next trip.

I come here often for business. I stay here because it is close to downtown. Parts of the hotel are dirty but it seems management are slowly making improvements in this area. The rooms themselves are pretty standard.

It was average, not bad. Normal hotel, clean, friendly staff.

Near downtown, good bars, basquetball and baseball stadium. The manager is quite grumpy

I was looking for something cheap and close to downtown area. the place is nothing spectacular. wi-fi sucks. small breakfast room.
