Days Inn Mesa East

This Days Inn is an embarrassment to the Wyndham brand. The room was filthy, with stains everywhere from the furniture to the walls. Linens are old and threadbare and appear unclean even if they had been laundered. We asked for an extra pillow and they didn't have even one. The chair cushion was so dirty you wouldn't want to sit on it without putting a sheet or towel down first. Three of four light bulbs were out in the bathroom. Not one picture or mirror on the walls of the room...strange for even the worst hotel/motel rooms I have been in. The staff, who I believe are husband and wife owners, were arrogant and unfriendly. Stay somewhere else! Don't make the same mistake we did.

It was good, in fact I love the area so much I think we might move down there.

Ckeck-in was efficient. Paid $10 extra for nom-smoking room and placed at far end. Breakfast was meager. Coffee was only good point. Will pay more.at nearby hotel on next trip. Be cautious of the Windum Resort (sp) chain.

Hotel staff in office had no personality...very blah...didn't really tell us anything about the hotel. Just takes your money and gives u a key card. You have to ask about basic info that should be given at time of service. Room was clean but need some basic work on it. A paint job would make a real difference. But overall the price was great and quiet location.

There was stained mildew which was painted over. All linen's had stains Room had a funky smell to it. The breakfast was a JOKE.

Hotel seemed in need of repairs. Breakfast was poor.

place to sleep and shower. I eat out for breakfast. don't even try to have theirs. it is not professional. You will be disapointed.

I didn't leave my room except to go to there breakfast witch was good

Was not able to plug any accessories in room 220. Wall outlet next to bed, Ac and tv did not hold and power cords. Just falls out. Trash was left in room from previous guest.

Nice people. Older hotel. Okay location. Good beds with good sleep. Breakfast is tiny in small area. Pool is rather exposed ...... as you will be.

Room was dingy at best. It was clean, the bed was comfortable, everything worked but it needs updating badly. Everything was old. Neighborhood leaves something to be desired. Not a good value even at this price. OK for a short stay but would not recommend for families.

We stayed there probably 20 years ago, and they are still using the same towels. The towels are ripped, have holes, and thread bare. The sheets are stained and thread bare as well. I think the owner are very nice people but barely making it. We will never go back again.

The A/C was not working peoperly and the manager looked at it, plugged it in again and said that was all he could do. Unfortunately he didn't understand that the fan speed between low and high was not working. The regrigerator freezer door was broken off and thus nothing was safe in the freezer and the refregerator was only moderately cool. All in all, this was not a good value.

Rooms were dirty, especially the carpets. In disrepair.

Staff ok- room very tired-worn- rugs needed cleaning-reasonably quiet

Our experience with this hotel was great. First off, we got a discounted rate so the room was only $40 a night for a king-sized non-smoking room. Our reception at the front desk was warm and hassle-free. The room was clean and included a microwave, refrigerator, and sofa, all of which was unexpected. These would have really come in handy if we had spent more time in the room, but we were visiting family and just needed a place to bathe and sleep. The mattress was firm and comfortable. The bathroom was clean and the shower head was relaxing. The continental breakfast had an assortment of pastries, cereals, oatmeals, and toast, and beverages included coffees, apple juice, orange juice, tea, and milk. Better than most hotel breakfast offerings I've seen. My only complaint is just a cosmetic one. The gray washcloth that was used to display the soaps and shampoos looked dingy (like it used to be white but was accidentally washed with dark laundry). Oh, and one of the lamps didn't work. But everything else was perfectly fine.

This was my second time staying here. Although it isn't a fancy place, I chose to stay here because it's cheap, quiet, and includes breakfast. The building is older but the rooms were clean.

The hotel needs work as alot of things were either broken or about to break. The walls are coming apart. The place needs lots of maintainance. The Continental Breakfast is very small and almost not there.

the room has a weird smell.

Hotel was comfortable and at a great price. Included complimentary breakfast, which was nice. The staff were very friendly. Great place to stay if on a business trip or weekend vacation. Location was very close to the freeway and many shopping centers.
