Perfect for my family of 4. (9yr old and 6 month old) amenities were great, my family all extended there stay. Its no Hyatt, but with little ones, this place felt like the Hyatt to us, with the full kitchen, free wash, and freewifi

I stayed here during Barrett-Jackson car auction. I picked based on location and amenities so I could save money on meals. Room was comfortable jr suite type with full sized fridge, microwave and 2 burner cooktop. Nice bed with quality bedding. Staff was friendly and helpful when needed. Rooms had carpets steam cleaned and A/C serviced while I was there. Some inconvenience but at least I was informed about this at check in and it's nice to know they do these things. Didn't use amenities except laundry. No complaints there.

Wow... is all I can say. Plenty of good reviews, pics of a nice room, and the competitive pricing drove me to select this hotel on Orbitz ... Let The Buyer Be Deceived! I booked this as a room for one, but ended up with sharing it with lots of BUGS along with some shady local folks checking in or hanging in the parking lot. I went to management and immediately told them I woke up with bite marks all over me and the counter person was very sympathetic as well as apologetic, but once management arrived, he changed his tune and discounted the reality (dead bugs in paper towels and all). NEVER EVER AGAIN.

stay was cool room clean full kitchen Bed soft floors nice and clean bathroom looked good coffee in lobby and breakfast in morn really cool place to stay

The room size alone was worth the price, then you add the amenities and the value for the room itself doubles. Super friendly staff and seemed like the place was cleaned by profesionals. The leather chair was in a very odd place right next to the bed. Should think about relocating or removeing it altogether. The room would seem much bigger without it.

Stayed at the Candlewood and thought it was one of the best places we stayed. Was very impressed. Even though they had maid service once a week was no big deal. Everything was there you needed. Bed was quite comfortable and bathroom spacious. I would definitely would recommend the Candlewood to other travelers.

All in all my experience at the Candlewood Suites was great.

The location was perfect, just off of major highway I-17. Near many restaurants, stores and a nice mall. The price made it a great value. The hotel amenities were great. The free laundry service, workout facility onsite, free dvd library, heated swimming pool & jacuzzi were great. My husband & I have a special diet, so it was perfect for us to have a full refridgerator, stove, microwave & dishwasher in the suite. The room was clean, updated, and roomy. The staff was friendly & helpful. They gave me directions & advice on local business on several occasions. We were there for 5 days and had no complaints whatsoever. Great mini-vacation for us!!!

I stayed at this hotel to attend a workshop at the BLM training facility. This hotel was about a mile and a half away, very conveniently located. The amenities helped me save money on food during my two day stay. The only concern of note was the slow-draining bathtub which I mentioned to the front desk. Otherwise, the room was clean and comfortable.

We didn't take advantage of gyms, pool, spa, so couldn't comment on those. Suite had separate bedroom with door which I always like. My only suggestions for improvements would be technological. It's 2010, time to lose the 4x3 CRT's in favor of some LCD's. And wireless was only available as Ethernet. There is no "business center" with a way to print anything.

The second I walked into the room, a strong smell of cigarettes hit me in the face. I opened the window and kept the door open to try to air it out, but no improvement. Next, I pulled back the sheets on the bed, and there was a flying ant type of bug on the pillow. It was dead, but didnt make me want to jump into bed and sleep. The room just looked old. There were marks on the walls and paint peeling in certain areas. I was kind of grossed out the entire time I was in the room (which was only 1 night) and couldnt wait to leave. Another thing is that other hotels of this class include complementary breakfast, but this hotel simply has a room where you have to pay for things off the shelf. Lastly, the people that stay here seemed to young and loud. Price was cheap though, and the staff were sooooooo nice. Really.

average

Room was spacious and had great ammenities. We didn't have a chance to take advantage of the fitness room, pool or free laundry; but we appreciated the free movie rentals, coffee/tea, and food pantry. I would recommend staying here, the location was very convenient for us.

We went to Phoenix to look at a house we wanted to buy. This hotel was the best that we have ever stayed at, couldn't ask for anything better!!!! Free dvd's at office, complete kitchen with microwave, fridge, stove, dishes, silverware they even had a pantry by the office where you could buy food to prepare. Nice pool , hot tub, laundry room, they even had bbq grills that you could use!! Excellent stay !!!

loved being able to cook for my boyfriend and make him some homemade chocolates.

Good location for access to many restaurants. Rooms were quiet and comfortable. Friendly staff assisted us in printing flight boarding pass when we departed. Bathroom door got in the way of the sink.

The location was great and easy excess on and off the interstate. Like the laundry room especially when it was free to wash and dry your clothes. Has a lot of great restaurants in walking distants. the room was ok I'm a non-smoker and ended up in a smoker's room and the smell was awful even my clean clothes smelled like smoke!! Was not happy about that. Other than that I would go back to that hotel, I liked the room and the layout of it( except that it smelled awful)and the location of the hotel.

Check-in staff was helpful and friendly, great, comfortable room for short stay, clean and all appliances worked for morning coffee and ice. easy access to Hwy 17. Little tricky to find the first time, so call and listen to the recorded directions on your way in and you will have no problems!

I travel weekly and usually do not stay at candlewoods. This was a personal trip visitng friends. I was very pleased with the entire experience. They have far more amenities that I usually have when traveling for work (free DVD library, etc) I would stay there again. The price was unbelievable (low).

we stayed for 5 days while visiting family. My wife was very pleased with fitness room. Everything you need is in the kitchen, free laundry room, very clean. WE booked a studio suite and when we saw that it was a little small they up graded us at no extra cost. Would stay here again

Hello, again please know that this situation was not made lightly by management. We take these issues very seriously and had our pest control company out here as quickly as possible assuring that the room was clear of all insects at time of inspection. As noted and discussed room had no activity. We apologize that you had any negative experiences at our hotel as it is our top priority to honor top guest service in a clean and safe environment. Again, we can not apologize enough for the inconveniences to you due to these issues.
