This hotel located 20 metres from the tonle sap river just before it merges with the Mekong river and opposite the famous night market Staff are very pleasant and willing to help. Breakfast is simple and limited but quite nice. Rooms are spacious and rooms at the front have great views of the river however the back rooms have no views. Beds are comfortable TVs are ok and most important air conditioners work well Bathrooms are ok with step in baths with showers but all ok. Also there is a bus station 50 mètres away should you wish to travel around to say siem reap
Located on 108 next to the corner, the river view rooms do not have river views but views of the night market instead as the hotel does not face the river. The rooms are large and clean, wifi works well. No complains. The furniture in the balconies not too well kept but the balconies are large and breezy. Excellent friendly staff.
Our original hotel was cancelled last minute so booked River 108 last minute. Room was very spacious with comfy bed and large powerful shower room. The only thing that let it down was that the window had a covering over it so you could not see anything through it and there was no natural light into the room ( 01) and this was not mentioned in the room description. Hotel is in a good location on the riverfront and directly opposite the night market, also good breakfast.
Nice room especially for the price. Very good location close to the market, bars and restaurants. Also close to the river so good for a walk. Very friendly staff. Allowed guests into the room for a drink and chat. No sign at the front go the hotel. We spent nearly an hour trying to find the hotel. I think this has been rectified now.
I chose this hotel to be close to my minivan departure to Sihanoukville the following morning. It was very comfortable. WiFi and aircon worked well. Bed was good and everything seemed clean. Not a fancy place, but it worked for me. I booked direct with the hotel and got a much better rate than their website presented. Maybe low season. Only gripe was breakfast was supposed to start at 7:00, but there was no staff around at 7:20 and we had to check out and get to our minivan. So we opted for street food that was nearby and it was good enough. But...
This is the second time I have stayed here and nothing has changed great service from staff easy check in.The room is large and very clean.Breakfast is next door in a restaurant but no problem there .Close to to the markets and the waterfront..Thyanks to to all the staff you were great
This was our first time at the River108 hotel and we were not disappointed. It’s location was very central and directly opposite the busy night market and the main bus terminal which was very handy if you are planning to go to Siem Reap to visit Angkor Watt. The customer experience from the moment we checked in till the moment we checked out was superb. The checking in process was seamless and so was the check-out process and both times this was overseen by a gentlemen by the name of Heng. Heng was also very helpful in making suggestions on where to go, what to see and where to buy certain things. The location of this hotel is very central, close to Sisowath Quay which is a stretch of bars and restaurants, retail and $12 an hour full body massage outlets. It is also 10 minutes by tuk-tuk to Wat Phnom the 700yo temple which is also the tallest religious structure in the city. The hotel is also 10 minutes-walk from the “Freedom” park. The rooms were spacious and clean and we had a balcony for each room which we spent time watching the hustle bustle in the evening over a cold beer. The rooms were priced very well we thought and at usd$65 per night compared to similar size rooms along Sisowath Quay that goes for about usd$90 per night. The hotel is flanked by local restaurants to its left and right and the price for either breakfast lunch and dinner was very reasonable. The room rate also comes with a complimentary breakfast which was served by a restaurant which was 2 doors up towards the river front. The restaurant was called Fish which served a nice variety for breakfast and also sea food selection if you decide to have lunch or dinner there. Service from the staff at Fish was very efficient and you could see that they genuinely tried their best to offer the many varieties from their menu. Overall a very pleasant and comfortable stay at the River108 and we will definitely be back at this hotel when we are next back in Phnom Penh. Fully recommend the River108 especially for its central location, good for short stays especially if you are on transit and want to see as much things and places and have limited travelling time…
Situated near the river front and opposite the night market this hotel is in a great location. The hotel itself is very clean and nicely furnished. The receptionist was very helpful in advising the cost of local tuk tuk fares and booking trips. The breakfast is actually served a couple of doors away at Fish restaurant. It was probably the best breakfast we had on our trip. When we stayed it was quiet and lacked a little atmosphere however no complaints.
We stayed one night in this little Hotel on our way to Sihanoukville. It's location is exactly next to the Night Market and the River. Perfect for taking a walk or searching food but also noisy ( but that we knew when we were booking the room :)) As the hotel has no Pool it might be not fitting for a longer stay in a hot weather city like Phnom Penh and the breakfast, that is served in the "Fish" restaurant next corner is fine, the the service bit slow ( so be on time if u have an appointment afterwards)
