Zemi was much better than we expected. Our experience here was absolutely fantastic. Clean and safe place to be. Shoal bay is beautiful. The food, music, rooms, gym, etc, etc was perfect. Service was impecable. We have been traveling every year to a different Caribbean island, We can say that this resort and the beaches in Anguilla are the best we have experienced.
Although my pre-arrival experience wasn't the best, the staff did their best to make up for it upon arrival. The hotel itself is beautiful. Its odd that there's no bar at the adult pool but the beach pool/bar was pretty cool. The beach is AMAZING. I have no real complaints.
It was completely a full service property gorgeous views and hospitable staff. My only complaint would be the high rate. The price per night was quite high.
The property is quite beautiful, but it is a way from many local restaurants, which is the only draw back if you call that a drawback. We will most definitely return. It’s a no brainer!!
A hotel with a lot of character and superb customer service! I had just a little issue while there but otherwise, the property is exquisite and relaxing. The spa service and staff are excellent!
Everything about this hotel was special! From when we reached by ferry, we felt like VIP. Everyone was so kind and catered to our needs. Food Manager brought a surprise cake for my fiance's birthday. Room was gorgeous with a gorgeous ocean view. The spa was the best part! Water activities were great, no wait and staff stayed with us the whole time. Guest services set up itinerary for offsite activities. Complimentary breakfast was nice (but got tired of the same food after the 2nd day). Loved the beach at night. Quick walk to offsite restaurant (Gwens reggae) which is awesome on Sundays (live band). Very clean. Staff were kind and actually very cool to talk to! We have been bragging about Zemi. Awesome hotel!

Resort is beautiful, clean, spacious, extremely friendly and attentive staff. Great week spent at the Zemi Beach House Resort. Already making plans to revisit this amazing resort again in the very near future. Thank you Mark for making our stay so memorable and welcoming. Thanks to all the staff at the Zemi, from the wait staff, to the pool staff to the beach attendants, a job well done by all. I would highly recommend this resort. It is just as beautiful as the photos on the website.

The short version of my experience with Zemi after 7 days is that it started bad but got better each day as the week progressed. Eventually ending in a decent overall experience. We had originally booked for 8 days but my wife and I missed our flight and were forced by the airline to arrive the next day. I called Zemi and gave them a heads-up. (Rooms were prepaid so no big deal). When we got to Zemi and were taken to our rooms the girl pressed me for why we didn't arrive the day before. I just said we missed our flight, but you could tell from the dirty look and long silence afterward that she expected me to elaborate and was mad when I didn't. For the first half of our stay the entire staff were visibly nervous around us every time we had an interaction. I couldn't tell if they were scared for their jobs or just new in general. This improved dramatically about 3 days in though. In fact one of the staff, Dessirae - a bar waitress, was the highlight of out stay. My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary during this trip. When we heard a 3 year old wake up screaming next door, we knew our celebrations were clearly audible. Not wanting to teach anyone life lessons, I explained to guest services our situation and they arranged for us to look at a couple other (isolated) rooms by that afternoon. That same evening, the hotel surprised us with a small gesture and a card for our anniversary. Very nice touch.
I wouldn't stay anywhere else on my next visit to Anguilla. Only negative was I was only on the island for 2 nights.
