This Holiday Inn was older than I expected, and the facility just seemed to be a bit "tired". I certainly wouldn't call it terrible, but it didn't stand out either. One nice surprise was the fact that my room faced downtown, and the view was actually very nice. I would also think this would be a great place to stay for a Phillies game.
While we weren't at the hotel for long, it was a pleasant experience. Holiday Inns can sometimes be hit or miss, but I believe this was on the better side. The basics were nice, the staff was pleasant, and the rooms were pretty typical, but bigger than I expected (had a 1 King size bed that had a couch, microwave, refrigerator, etc). The only real complaints were that the design of the bathroom was poorly done and it was a little noisy as there were many high school track athletes staying there for the Penn Relays (this didn't affect my sleep).
Sounded like water was running all night .. In the morning lots of banging doors and singing in the halls
The location was good and I enjoyed my stay. However, the hotel should have offer continental breakfast for the guests.
Hotel good value and subway easy walk. Bar/Restaurant needs a little updating, but staff nice.
Nice and clean free parking. I would recommend to friends, friendly staff.
Service in restaurant not great and the food was terrible. Room was ok, bed great.
overall good experience. very slow elavators was a pain in the butt.
This hotel was very clean and very friendly! We overslept and checked out late free of charge!
We were celebrating my daugthers 40th birthday and stayed here due to convenience to Stadium, Xfinity night club and also downtown Philadelphia. We did take a taxi into city which worked out really well. We really only slept at the hotel and did not experience any other amenities but did enjoy our room, and did find the personnel very friendly and helpful.
Great location. We walked to the Wells Fargo Center. People very friendly. Liked it so much, we are staying there this August for Motley Cue Concert.
They charged 40 dollars for incidentals but did not tell before hand. The hotel stated that it will be refunded within 5-7 business days.
We went for a work related business. the hotel for the time we spent inside was very nice. the workers were extremely helpful. the subway was not a far walk to get into the city.
It's so comfortable and has everything I could need
Hotel was noce and clean. A little from down town.
The hotel did not meet my expectations. I have stayed at a number of Holiday Inn and each was better than this one. To sum it all up, the room wasn't very clean or well put together. But worst of all, they changed my room at the last minute! It's just not worth the money
All was great people, amanities bed, all excellent
Stayed at this Holiday Inn due to it's proximity to the football stadium. I would stay there again if I come back to another game. Rooms were nice, clean and the bed was comfortable. I would recommend this as the ideal place to stay when attending a pro or college event at one of the venues next door.
Good food, great location for eagles game which my son and i attended.go eagles.overall everything was all good.i would go back.
The hotel is in the perfect location for a concert, baseball game, football game, 76ers or Flyers game. Apart from that, it's worthless. Charging over $300 per night for a place like this is highway robbery. The front desk staff was extremely nice and knew what they were doing. But the hotel needs a complete overhaul. The rooms are extremely old, paint peeling, windows dirty, carpet dirty, bathroom old and worn, hallways dirty, elevators old and slow. I was on the 2nd floor and heard not only everything outside my door in the hall, but everything going on outside the front of the hotel. Oh, and we also heard stuff going on in the room across from ours. The draw here is walking distance to the stadiums and arenas, but for the price they charge I think next time I'd rather stay in City Center and pay to park at the venue.
