Days Inn Roosevelt Boulevard

Stayed here for a one night trip and it was close to where I needed to be, but was disappointed with the condition for a Days Inn. Staff that checks you in are behind a bulletproof glass as if you're at a bank. The lobby is pretty ugly with a wide space and two seats. There also is only ONE door to enter from, the rest of the doors are only fire exits so you must walk around the whole hotel if you have to park in the back in order to get back in. The hotel condition is subpar, it isn't clean nor dirty. The bedsheets weren't clean, there is only one outlet in the whole room, and there is no lock box to keep your things safe in. Also have free breakfast but we weren't told what time it is held at. I slept that night feeling as if I was going to get bedbugs, my room broken into or my car broken into (signs in the parking lot also state how they aren't responsible if anything were to happen to your vehicle.) it's a decent hotel for a simple stay but the price is way too high, should be the price of a motel room. Try to find a better hotel or deal but only stay here if necessary. Won't ever stay here again.

Bad part of town. Felt unsafe. No coffee service in room or in vending area

It was the cheapest hotel I could find that was reasonably close to downtown.

When the only entrance to the hotel is through the lobby and the desk clerk is behind bullet proof glass, you know you are in a bad area. The first clue was the sign in secluded parking lot saying the Management is not responsible for the theft or damage to your vehicle.

Its a Days Inn, it wasn't the fanciest but it was clean the staff was nice and welcoming. The room was a good size and the bathroom was updated but on the small size. Overall a nice hotel.

Arrived at the hotel and the staff was very courteous. The parking lot felt secure and was very well light. The room was clean however it was as basic it gets. For the value and location to areas within Philadelphia, this is a good hotel to stay out. Very recommedened.

Normal for something at last minute. .............

Once we saw that it was hard to sleep comfortably. We checked in around 11:30pm and were too tired to make a fuss. The sheets were visibly and obviously unwashed so we kept the top blanket on and went to the front desk for blankets. The hotel staff seemed unsurprised and unphased when told that the sheets were dirty and just handed us a clean blanket.

Hotel staff was very rude and I doubled paid for my room and they have me a hard time trying to get it back.

Our check-in went smoothly. The staff was friendly. The room was very clean and spacious.

The hotel is in a marginal neighborhood and therefore the guests are not always that upscale. The hotel is old and has no amenities. The carpet is worn and the rooms are small. On the positive side, the staff did everything in their power to assist us, including opening the kitchen at midnight for a cup of tea. They were always polite, friendly and helpful, including printing out our bording passes for us (no business center). There is a complimentary breakfast, but it is bare bones. This is not a great hotel, but it is clean and safe and an adequate stay as long as you understand its limitations.

The room does not have outlet for charging phone by the bed. The breakfast has no protein; provide cereal, brown bread, muffin and orange juice. Other than shampoo and soap, no moisturizer was provided. The room was clean and has a small television. It does not have any clock to give you idea of time. I relied on my phone for time and alarm.

Had to stay here for the weekend it was ok but be careful with surrounding area

Good enough, clean and most staff is friendly sorroundings not so safe though

I did enjoy my stay in the hotel room. The room was neat and clean. The only thing that was not pleasant was that I got bite by bugs . My guess is that it came from the bedding. I am not sure that they have this problem all of the time. That was my first time staying there.

Easy location to find and get too. Sleep straight through the night.

Completely smelled of cigarette smoke. Staff is rude. Room had leaks. Not clean.

What happen to the continental breakfast? The advertisement was that you would have a continental breakfast and there was none.

I was in Philly on business and the room key did not work 98% of the time even after they reset it.

The hotel was a good and clean. For the most part, the hotel is in need of remodelling. Many of the doors had dents in them. I don't know why they were dented, but it makes you think that the "SWAT" team came though looking for a criminal. The dented doors made me wonder concerning hotel security. The "continental breakfast" however left much to be desired. Breakfast items were very limited. The time of operation did not permit "sleeping in". Breakfast time was, I believe 6:00 until 9:00. If you slept past 9:00 you missed out on breakfast. Overall, my stay at the hotel was good.
