Best Western Cajon Pass

We go every year to visit Uncle Joe. Allways at this time of the year. We rented a van this time and took his 3 sisters and another brother with us. Joe and his wife just move to Wrightwood, Calif. and Cajon Pass is the junction to go to Wrightwood. It is just off the freeway, and train tracks, and major intersection. The motel itself was clean, and the people working there were very friendly and courteous. Our rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was simple, good and warm. I think if the guests are advised when they arrive about the water heaters being on propane and not regular we would have been ok with it. Since we didn't know how they work, we all were saying how we didn't have hot water for showers in the morning, only lukewarm water. We could hear the traffic at night especially the big rigs and the train as they went by. However if you get a room facing the side away from the hiway it is a little quieter. We enjoyed our stay, and we hopefully will be back again next year.

They starting work on freeway after 12 midnight and did not stop until 4 AM very difficult to sleep.

The cleaning staff is on a schedule, so you may not get your room cleaned.

Very friendly staff, just loud with truck engine brakes and trains

We felt very comfortable and enjoyed our stay. We will definitely stay there again when in that area.

did not get the king room I ordered but the double turned out ok

Look ok. We book the hotel many times when we ski in mountain high resort

It was a great night getaway from home. It was nice having a barbecue next to the pool. Felt like being in my own backyard. The rooms were very clean and was ready for an early check in which is always nice.

the dudes were chill. the food was chill. the place is chill.

Next to the freeway, the hotel is located between 2 gas stations, it's complicated to enter with you car, the pavement has deep holes and is broken. The room smelled really bad, the carpet had stains, we didn't feel comfortable, specially with kids. My mistake was that I reserved a Smoking room with out knowing. I know it's my fault, I didn't catch it between all the abbreviations on the reservation I made through this website: 2 Queen beds, smok,hi sped net, micrfg, cofmkr, iron, hair, continental breakfast Is it too difficult to write this in an understandable way. Also I payed more through this website (O....Z) that what I would have payed with the hotel directly...I realized that when the hotel receptionist gave me the bill.

The room is similar to a Motel 6 with a breakfast in the morning. The hot bagel with sausage and egg was a bonus. Not a bad place for the price and close to Mountain High for skiing. There are several fast food restaurants nearby off the 15 fwy.

this is a great value when you're going skiing at mt high.

The room was clean and accesable. I would stay again if I had been given my requested reservation. I paid for a 2 bed at a higher rate and was give a 1 bed. The front desk said I needed to call orbits because orbits charged me... call at 2am. Unbeliveable. How do I get my refund for the extra charge?

In the proccess of checking-in my into the motel there was a problem. The reservation had my name but my home address was wrong as well as the wrong credit card number. The room rate was $14 LESS than the ORBITZ price. The desk clerk corrected my reservation information and gave me the room at the cheaper ($14) room rate. I was very satisfied with the motel and will return again when in the area.
