Laguna Resort is a lovely resort on the beach ,from the moment we arrived we loved it staff were very welcoming and helpful, our room was lovely and very comfortable ,the bathroom had a bath with a seperate shower ,the pool area was very inviting over looking the beach one of the restaurants is beside the pool and also over looks the beach ,food was very nice also.Breakfast was good .You can easily walk to shops and restaurants only minutes away . We would definitely stay here again , when we were there it was not peak season so wasn't to busy , top hotel .
My Wife and I spent 3 nights at the Khao Lak Laguna Resort and had a fantastic time. A beautiful hotel with polite, cheerful and helpful staff. As we were there in the low season the hotel was not especially busy which meant we often had the pool almost to ourselves which was great. We stayed in the Sian Chalet room, which is enormous, you have all the toiletries you need, dressing gown, sandals, hair drier, rechargeable touch, even a beach bag. Breakfast is served in the oriental restaurant, For breakfast you have a good choice both Thai and western, freshly prepared fruit juices each day. The staff here are also lovely as we found Thai people most friendly and welcoming through out our travels in Thailand. Gardens are beautiful, The pools are so warm it's like walking into a bath, plenty of sun beds, fresh beach towels are left in your room each day. There are currently improvements bring made to the beach front, however people who go at this time of year have got take into consideration this is there winter. Short walk you have many bars, restaurants, shops, tailors, pharmacy etc, If I have the pleasure to return i will certainly satay in this beautiful hotel.
A good place to stay for people searching peacefull, relaxing places. Friendly personel, clean rooms. Good food in the restaurant however op to double as expensive as in khao lak restaurants. It was the quit season so no poolseat rush here. Thank god for that. So good place for couples to relax.
Had a great stay here. The staff were very friendly and helpful and most staff spoke very good English. The room was clean and comfortable with all the amenities you need. The hotel provided activities for adults and children on a daily basis. The swimming pools were kept very clean and there were plenty of sun lounges. The beach is nice but it would be good if it were cleaned of all rubbish and not just the recyclables on a daily basis. The grounds are big and very well kept. Breakfast has a decent assortment of foods. The resort is well located to shops and restaurants. Overall a good relaxing experience. Not sure if I'd like to be here in the high season when the resort would have many guests, but then I'm not a crowd lover. The restaurant was okay for lunch, meals were well presented and tasted fine. I'd stay again.
Laguna is a wonderful nature hotel. One of the best hotels in our honeymoon trip. We can't explain how much clean is the hotel! The gardener work hard everyday to clean each tree leaf on the ground. Room very clean, lobby and pool as well. The location of the hotel is great, nearby for some shopping markets and bars. Less than 10 minutes by taxi to the city were you can find a big markets, good restaurants and bars. I can't describe the hotel staff. All of them were very kind, modest and faithful servant. The staff just will make your holiday extra great. The breakfast of the hotel were excellent and vary with many kinds such as western and Thai food. Again, the restaurant is very clean, the food is fresh, and the staff is awesome! An amazing dinner that you MUST try is at the sundowners restaurant in the hotel. Service, food, variety, location, everything is just great. Pool is very clean, less than 20 meters to the beach. The beach of the hotel is great and clean as well. The hotel is full of activities like PingPong, Billirads etc. so that you have part of time to enjoy kind games with your partner or family. The one and only disadvantage of the hotel was our room. We ordered beach front room that supposed to be exactly on the front of the beach not a line behind the beach front rooms. At first we were disappointed about our room, but they apologized about what happens because some of the beach front rooms were under renovation due to some water inside the rooms. The staff knew to manage with this problem and offer us to move to beach front room in the next day until it gonna be free. Furthermore, there offered for both of us free Thai massage that were absolutely excellent. Fabulous hotel for romantic and family trips.
My girlfriend and I spent two weeks at the Khao Lak Laguna Resort and had a fantastic time. A beautiful hotel with incredibly polite, cheerful and helpful staff. As we were there in the low season the hotel was not especially busy which meant we often had the pool to ourselves which was great. We took part in all of the free activities in the hotel (tai chi, pilates, water yoga, fruit carving, thai massage lessons etc) and had a great time doing so (special thanks to the ever cheerful, fun and polite Marika who facilitated a lot of these classes and to Lee for the yoga/pilates). As part of our package we got a free upgrade to an Oriental Villa which was lovely, a free thai massage from Kai (or 'The Maestro' as I will now call her) and a thai cooks school which was great fun, well organised (not to mention delicious). I'd definitely recommend this hotel and would be delighted to stay again.
This is the most wonderful hotel I've ever visited, the reason for this is the amazing wonderful staff. We visited last year and really enjoyed our holiday, however this year it was even better, due to the staff. Front of house you have Mr Zin who is truly a gentleman and a credit to the hotel. We stayed in the Sian Chalet room, which is enormous, you have all the toiletries you need, dressing gown, sandals, hair drier, rechargeable touch, even a robe for round the pool. We were all inclusive, fridge filled each day. With water, soda water, cola ,Sprite, beers. Tea and coffee replaced every day. Cleaner was excellent, Breakfast is in the oriental restaurant, The breakfast you have a good choice both Thai and western, different freshly prepared fruit juices each day. The staff here are so good, when we arrived they came to welcome us back, it made you feel like you were coming home. Lunch at the sundowers Food is very good, rather large portions. Only downside is the chicken, You have the choice of both Thai and western food. Lovely smoothies, everything is so well presented. I could not single one member of staff out for the good serve, as every one delivered such good customer service. Evening meal Both at the Oriental and Sundowners First part of the holiday due to the weather the evening meal was in Oriental, due to the rain. You had a choice of buffet or al a carte. Both very good. Loved choice of sea food. The tiger prawns were amazing. Bar Service was superb, such welcoming staff, never had to wait for a drink. Quality of drink was wonderful. Built up a lovely rapport with both the singer and pianist. Good for a sing along. Grounds of hotel. Gardens are beautiful, the gardener work so hard constantly updating. The wild life is beautiful to see. It's a pleasure to saviour this. Pool The pools are so warm it's like walking into a bath, plenty of sun beds, fresh beach towels are left in your room each day. The tiles on the pool are dark blue, which is good as you do not get the glare like in Europe. The decking gets very warm so beware. You get covers for your sun beds each day. There are currently improvements bring made to the beach front, however people who go at this time of year have got take into consideration this is there winter, so it's the best time for them to make the changes, this did not spoil our holiday in any way. The other improvements made whilst we were there was to the roof of the seating area at sundowners and the message area. Outside the hotel Short walk you have many bars, restaurants, shops, tailors, pharmacy etc We did eat out. But the food at the hotel was so well presented, it makes you realise how good the all inclusive is at the hotel. Negative The only negatives was the lack of interaction with the customers by the management team. I booked this wonderful hotel on the reviews left on trip advisor by Tom Greese. However now he has become a hotel manager. He did not interact with many of the customers. All you had was a curt nod. The only people he seemed to interact with were fellow Germans which is disappointing as this is a multi cultural hotel. It would nice to be able to praise the staff directly with the management. All in all this was a wonderful holiday made by the staff and we cannot wait to return next year. See you next year Khao Lak Laguna miss you already.
Stay 3 nights at the resort in an Oriental Villa. The is spacious with good size bathroom and seating area. Food at breakfast, lunch & dinner was amazing. Staff attentive and resort is very lush and green and mature. 5 minutes walk to Khao Lak centre although there are restaurants opposite hotel. Hotel has a club lounge with bar where you can relax after dinner and listen to the singer/piano player. WiFi is free throughout the resort. Shuttle from airport also has free WiFi. Would definitely recommend.
Hotel is Beautifull located with nice surroundings and nature Very good place to go in rainy season. Enoughplaces to sit covered whilst looking at the sea. Food was very good and has a good variety. Pity that are renovating at the beach/ pool side.
lovely hotel, perfectly situated. on the edge of town, so quiet beaches but still in walking distance of restaurants and bars. very good breakfast, some stairs involved to get to the breakfastroom. beautifull gardens.
