This is our second stay at Casa and was just as amazing as the first. We stayed in a Duplex Grand Pool Villa. Accommodation was immaculate and the views from the bedroom were amazing, looking towards the ocean. We loved the breakfast, which was a la carte and offered so many options. We ate in the restaurant a few evenings and the food and service was excellent, and reasonably priced for a 5-star hotel. A special mention has to go to Aoy, Boom and Emkei (trainee). They all made our stay so much more enjoyable. This year, we were able to go down to the beach at low tide and enjoy the beautiful, pristine beach and warm sea. In the evenings, we enjoyed stunning sunsets. Casa is a unique, boutique style property, ideal for those looking for complete relaxation and peace & quiet. We stayed for 5 nights and could have stayed for so much longer. The staff are a credit to the resort and a big thank you goes out to Tang, Hotel Manager. Clearly the staff lead by your example. Thank you Casa!
Just left casa from our 4 night stay there. Rooms are absolutley lovely, spacious, and very very modern. We had a deluxe sea view pool villa and it really was lovley and secluded. Food in the resturant caters for everyone and was very nice, if a little expensive as to be expected. Staff all friendly and helpful. Only little improvements would be a better phone line to the resturant and reception and an adaptor for the speaker in the room so all phones can use it :) nothing major.
It was my second visit here at Casa de la flora. Everything's still perfect for me. On this time, I spent 3 days at Beachfront Suite Pool villa. This room type is located in front of the ocean. Even though the location of this room is near the beach, it gave us a high privacy. View from the room is also stunning. Our room was well-prepared by the staffs. They recorded our previous choices of pillows, room's scent and amenities and prepared us the same. I was very impressed. Staffs and their services were still superb. They were helpful and friendly. Since our villa had some problem with the fridge, as soon as we informed staffs, they actively came and helped us. For breakfast, a la carte menu offered us many choices. Food taste was good but food quality dropped comparing to our last visit. Moreover, for dinner, we ordered Medium rare for our Wagyu Burger but we got well-done Burger instead. We felt a bit disappoint but the waiter changed it for us instantly. After all, it was a spectacular holiday. I will definitely come back for my 3rd visit!
I am writing this review because I am very happy we stayed at this place. Food is great and service is quick, they make sure we have access to everything, internet is free its not super fast but it works only annoying thing is we have to reconnect once a every day. Food prices are little high but quality is great, we are fussy eaters and when we went for a ride in town we saw other restaurants lol if you are not a BOGAN then you will never eat at those places. Room service is daily and then evening turn down service which is fantastic coz everything is ready when we get back to your room. We had private pool it was always clean I wonder how tho lol Location wise its right on beach, waking up at 5am and then going for a walk on beach is amazing. Supermarket is close by but in room you get almost everything like shaving kit, tooth brush etc We loved this place if we return to phuket we are staying here for sure.
The best hotel in Khao Lak. Staff, food, beach, room ❤❤ We stayed here for 1 week and enjoyed all the hotel. Great breakfast menu card, very nice pool area and our room had a very nice private pool. Go there! 😎❤👍
Relaxing and exclusive hotel where the staff went out of there way to make you enjoy your stay. Breakfast was always varied and tasty. Evening meals were also good but expensive especially when you can eat out in the many other restaurants that could be found after a half hour walk. The villas are something else, designed to fit into a small area but falls down with the practicality. No doors on wardrobe,no drawers, no shower cubicle.
We stayed in Casa de La Flora three nights in a Duplex Grand Pool Villa. The design of the resort is very unique. No Thai-style, very modern. You also can say: It´s all about design there. The Villa offers every comfort, you can expect in a 5* resort. Two floors, upstairs sleeping room with sea view, downstairs living room with access to the terrace and the private pool. The furnishings are very luxuriously. In the mezzanine floor the bathroom is located with a double rain shower and a huge bathtub. The minibar is complementary. The entertainment system is okay, but could be improved. The operation of the system is not that easy. The Villa does deserve 5 points for sure. Also the staff is very attentive and kind. The restaurant offers quite good food. The Seafood-BBQ is to be recommended. Only a few details disturb the overall impression. The public pool does not really fit the picture. The fitness center is below average, its location (in the basement) as well as its equipment. The breakfast is okay, but getting boring after a few days - the selection on the breakfast buffet did not change (same fruits, same sausage, same bread ...), the selection of the breakfast à la carte is nice, but without variety, if you stay there for a longer period. The Spa experience was okay, but nothing special for a 5* resort; even there is no relaxing zone after the treatment (The tea after the treatment should not be offered next to the Spa reception.). Don´t understand the critical review points wrong: In total, we enjoyed our stay very much and would come back for a visit. But to be perfect, should be the challenge for a 5* resort; and for this, a few more steps must be gone.
Spent our final three nights in Thailand being pampered at Casa de La Flora. We stayed in a Duplex Grand Pool Villa. The "room" has three levels, was very chic, spacious, and airy. Ocean view was from the top level, the bedroom. Bathroom was vast. Sitting area/and plunge pool are on the bottom level. The place is immaculate. I loved the intimate, private feel of the place. As has been mentioned, the sea at high tide comes up to the sea wall, so no sunbeds on the sand, which is not a problem at all as there is an abundance of sunbeds on the grassy area directly above the sand. It is incredibly peaceful and beautiful. As this is a small resort, the restaurant/bar is just a little ways down and the staff is happy to serve drinks and food to you where you are lounging. We were absolutely charmed by the restaurant staff- Rung, Gee, and Emkei are the sweetest, kindest young people you'll ever have the chance to meet! Breakfast was amazing- a nice buffet plus a menu to order from! Unique egg dishes to die for. Dinner at the restaurant was excellent- fresh and imaginative, aroy mak mak!! Plenty of restaurants to walk to if you want to try traditional (less expensive) Thai food. The spa is gorgeous! And I had two of the best massages ever at the extremely skilled hands of Um. She is amazing!!!! We appreciated the attention of the manager, Tang, who was personable and lovely. This is a quirky place, as in not at all traditional Thai, which made it a fun treat. We plan to return next March and will hopefully stay for a week next time!!!
this hotel is outstanding located in a beautiful place very friendly stunning views and service that is incredible, the beach is right on your doorstep and the rooms are paradise, nothing I can fault if I'm honest it was perfect and would defiantly recommend and go again they even made me a beautiful birthday cake which was so lovely.
The good: - Very unique architecture for a beach resort in Thailand - The infinity pool is great - Extremely kind and helpful staff, especially the front desk staff members Tang and Alisa - We got a free upgrade to a 2 floor suite (with 2 bathrooms)! - Clean rooms and public spaces - Great location on the edge of the Khao Lak tourist area but still within walking distance. There are many restaurants, massage spots, and small convenience stores within a 5 minute walk of the hotel entrance. - Free parking outside of the hotel with a guard supervising the area Observations: - It's not possible to set up camp on the beach because at high tide waves are hitting the seawall in front of the property. This is just fine with me because I hate sitting in the sand, but it may be a dealbreaker for others. The hotel has a really nice grassy area with many chairs and umbrellas at the edge of the seawall which I liked very much. - The grass on the roofs of the boxes is actually astroturf :-) - We weren't able to book foot massages at Casa de la Flora on the same day, so we just walked up the road and got them straight away with no fuss at all The not so good: - There was a musty smell in the bottom level of the suite, a smell I most closely associate with a ventilation system that needs cleaning or maintenance. The room was very clean otherwise. - Two Australian (???) power outlets on one side of the bed and zero on the other side. All other outlets in the suite were normal Thai outlets. - There were no screens on the sliding doors, precluding getting any fresh air unless I wanted to allow legions of mosquitos into the room - There wasn't any service at the pool. Most of the time there weren't any staff members in the pool area at all. I was able to have coffee cheerfully delivered to the pool, but I had to walk over and order it at the restaurant first. I don't know why a beach resort would forego the opportunity to sell drinks and snacks poolside throughout the day.
