Khao Lak was the last few days of our wonderful trip to Thailand. . This hotel was amazing. We had a duplex villa, overlooking the sea with our own plunge pool. The most memorable thing was choosing our perfumed bath oils and room diffuser aromas on arrival which were replaced daily. We arrived to the huge stone bath filled with a rose petals. This smell I can still conjure up now, it was Thann, a Thai aroma which I will treat myself to sometime but it it very expensive buying it in UK. The staff were the friendliest in any hotel I’ve ever stayed in and the whole experience was memorable. If you want a special treat, stay at this hotel. It has certainly gone into our memory banks for ever.

We ate at La Aranya a couple of times, and had cocktails a couple of nights to enjoy the amazing sunset views from there. The staff were very friendly and professional, and the cocktails and food divine. We highly recommend.

Great hotel for teenagers their parents and the elderly The staff were fantastic and really got to know us all just wished the beach was a bit bigger but we easily walked to another beach which was part of the same group The trips we had were well organised and I especially enjoyed the Thai cooking with my daughter in law

Spent my Xmas eve here last year and planing to do this year Xmas day. We love the hotel and the location is so nice and calm sea. I got to try their spa which was amazing experience too. Love this hotel!

What we love - outstanding design of overall especially our penthouse, it make me feel like a coming of age again - breakfast is a buffet for fruit, bread and some cold cut combination with fusion menu a la carte like rice with kurobuta and omelette with…various style. Room service is good as well but if you need a sunset view while dinning, please head to the restaurant - spa a la carte quite expensive but we got lucky that they have promotion for couple and met with good therapist - apple tv, so i can enjoy my Netflix, my movie list or even check the expenses - all staff are friendly and helpful especially at the restaurant, we love all he recommend What we don't love - Just few thing, if you have no car or motorcycle, it gonna be difficult to go out and enjoy with Khoa Lak night life experience - Expensive but still affordable, they are all lunch promotion reguraly and special price for Thai people

Casa de la Flora has been amazing - from check in and throughout our stay. The staff are friendly, professional, v well turned out and nothing is too much trouble. Rooms are lovely an excellently appointed - we stayed in the Duplex pool villas and then the grand pool suite - both beautiful. The resort is beautifully laid out and feels uncrowded, lovely main pool and of course your own pool too. Al the villas, suites, grounds and communal areas are pristine. Breakfast is delicious a huge variety of choices and all beautifully served. It was my sons birthday whilst we were here and the lovely manageress had noticed this and arranged some lovely attracts that made my son feel very special. We partook of the classes - yoga & thai boxing - both super instructors and only 1 -2 in each class when we stayed. The cocktails at sunset by the pool were a super way to end the day. I am not always easily pleased (!) but Casa de la Flora exceeded all my expectations - i cannot wait to return ...

Great hotel, the are treated like VIP from start to finish. Rooms are modern and contemporary, we had beachfront overlooking the water. We sat out the back on our decking some days to cool down in our own pool. Massive bathtub and double shower. Drinks are brought to you daily from the spa with a different type each day which is a lovely touch. Staff are terrific and most speak fine English. Spy at the restaurant and Noi at the spa really added to our trip!!! Thank you to a great experience, hope to see you soon!

This beach front hotel convinces with its outstanding architecture and is boutique style given the small size of units. You can choose from different apartments. The breakfast with a view on the Andaman Sea is included. The entertainment system needs a refresh and one starts to see, that the building is not new anymore.

This is our last day in our studio room. Truely wonderful with big patios doors that fully open onto terrace and mini pool with jacuzzi. you can be in bed and enjoy the outside! Having a dip at night , morning in your own private pool is a great feeling. From your bed your hear the crashing sound of waves, I enjoyed this so much. Low tide is around 2:30 pm so you can only access the beach in the afternoon. This does not really matter as we enjoyed sun deck in the morning! We love it . You also need to try a milk bath!!! Very nice . A great 5 start little gem. Thank you to the ever so nice and smiley staff

Casa De La Flora First of all I’m a local Thai person living in Bangkok and when most people heard that I was staying at Khao Lak every single person was like “Isn’t that where the Tsunami happened? Are you a little spooked out about the place?” Well, depending where you are from and what you believe in I was a bit hesitant … and doing a bit research on some articles I read this hotel location was also one of the locations that was hit hardest by the Tsunami meaning to what your imagination might lead you to think…. However, all of this was left behind and forgotten when I arrived at the hotel! The hotel is a smaller hotel but it was absolutely beautiful and stunning with it’s modern design! The room we had which was a Duplex Grand Pool Villa which was beautiful and had a slight view of the ocean! Bathroom amenities were top notch from THANN and not to mention that we were offered a free preparation for a milk bath too [Bath Tub was HUGE!] ! Mini bar was free, welcome drinks, and a bottle of sparkling wine! Truly felt special with the service and the care that they gave to us. The room also had a smaller plunge pool which was really nice to just sit back and chill during the day. The only downside to this room is if you are traveling with small children might not be ideal as because with this great modern design there a lots of edges and areas that children may be able to fall through. The hotel does warn you about this on the website too I believe. The main pool Is nice but since it is a smaller hotel it might not be as grand as you would expect like bigger hotels… but from there you can see the beautiful sunset with some really great cocktails [Make sure check out their happy hour/promotions]. Beachfront views… Yes it is right on the beachfront but note that it doesn’t really seem like a beach that you would go out and start swimming in as the tides are quite rough and during high tide there is not beach to sit on except for the area that the hotel has provided which also is nice. Food - I have to say the food here whether it be breakfast, lunch, or dinner is absolutely superb! The presentation and detail that was done in presenting everything was really well and the staff here are very helpful and friendly. I do want to note that this you might not get super high level service like international High end standards but this is a more of a local-friend to friend- being helpful type of service which at the end serves and works. To summarize I would definitely recommend Casa De La flora for those who want a more quiet, modern-chic, high quality, and local experience. If you’re looking for a hotel that is busy with lots and lots of people this might not be for you. This is a more of a relaxing retreat for honeymoon couples type of vacation [still doable for people with family as we came with our 1 year old daughter and she absolutely loved it]. And I would like to recommend to any “Asian/Thai” readers to not hesitate and stop worrying … there ain’t no ghost here :D!!!! This is an amazing place PROOF in the pictures!!!
