The employees come to the airport and drive you back and forth to the lodge. That was not in the literature. Pleasant surprise. There is NO taxi/Lyft/Uber in this area.
Lodge look was nice. Rice milk was in the fridge- wonder how clean the room really was. Beds need updating. Good breakfast

Pool and hot tub were clear and clean. Room as well. Microwave didn’t work. And bath fan was very loud. No noticeable noise from airport across the street. Food at Hoppies at airport good and reasonable. No elevator to second floor. Good price and close to Indian River and lakes, especially compared to other area hotels which are also farther.
Shower drain was rusty and the water stunk. Breakfast needed eggs and bananas or some fresh fruit
The property was definitely dated but the service was nice. I was disappointed that the bathroom wasn’t very clean. There was hair in the shower and there were hard water stains in the shower, toilet and sink. The room itself seemed fairly clean. I felt it was overpriced for what you get. For one night it was okay.
The beds were extremely comfortable! Got a great nights sleep.
No available rooms on first floor and no elevator. I am older and have had knee replacement surgery. Not even an offer to help me to my room which was the next to the last one at the end of the hall on the second floor! No air conditioning in the conference room which had been reserved. Continental breakfast was blah. Hotel staff was rude - not even a "thanks for staying" when I checked out; they said absolutely nothing. Will NEVER stay there again and will advise against others staying there.
The carpet had stains, the shower made an annoying whine and the room was hot when we got there. Almost midway between Petoskey and Mackinaw city. Breakfast was just ok and Fox news was playing on the TV.
