The room was very dirty. Within 5 minutes of taking off my shoes my white socks were black on the bottom from the dirt on the floors. I found an emptt bottle of crown royal shoved in the chair also. And under the dresser was very nasty there was trash food and piles of dirt where it looked as if the housekeeper just brushed everything under it instead of under the rug haha. This was the 2nd room i was in the original room was even worse. It had a nasty smell and the water in the bathtub wouldn't shut off.

Stayed here several times before with no issues. This time the room we were in was horrible and bed bugs.
The hotel is older and a bit run down. But it's perfectly pleasant for an overnight or short stay. The important things in the room are newer, the door, the AC, bed, shower head. The unimportant things, not so much, the TV, the furniture, the carpeting,the sink. Overall it was a great stay. Nice and quiet.
OK when there are no other options but other than that not worth the money, uncomfortable beds dingy old bathroom (bring shower shoes! ) horrible breakfast but close to I75 and a few places to eat in walking distance from our room. Basically a place to sleep and that's about it.
Not bad for the paid price. Good only for a short stay. Walking diatance to restaurants and grocery. Easy acess to freeway. Staff was polite and helpful.
This Econolodge is a perfect stop for us when we go to a ball game in Detroit. It is inexpensive, but the rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. The staff does a very good job. There are lots of amenities nearby our family dined at two different places. We have stayed there several times before and will likely stay again on our next trip to Detroit. We didn't use the wi-fy, but there was no option to answer not relevant I did not want to put just okay since we did not test it, so put great. Otherwise all of our ratings are accurate.
Room was clean there was no problem there. However shower had very loose fixture for ccold water and water pressure was terrible. Honestly though I plan on staying here on a regular basis because had I reported these issues to the staff it would have been fixed I was just very tired and didn't make a big deal of it. I would suggest looking over room before you settle in but that goes with any place. Very nice for 2 star.
it was a little complicated to find (almost hidden behind other stores). it was cheap, had breakfast, was close to restaurants, and highway.
We arrived at our hotel late in the evening. The first thing we noticed as we entered the room was a very foul smell of something...... Vomit came to mind. Then after looking the room over, it was clear that the cleaning staff did not even wipe off surfaces that were dirty. There was either dried blood or coffee and dirt all over the bathroom door and wall. I have done a lot of traveling and stayed at inexpensive hotels in the past, but this was totally unacceptable! We were only able to be in the room for 10 minutes before the smell was making us sick! We were able to get a refund after calling ----- and having them speak to the clerk at the hotel. He agreed that the room was filthy and smelled to the representative and we were given our money back. I would never stay at this hotel again! By the time we worked everything out it was now 2:00am and off to find another room. This is something we would not rather do after a long day of travel!
could not connect to internet as was posted. room was really dirty and air conditioner made an awful noise that got so bad we asked to be switched rooms. We ended up only staying one night and decided to just drive home the second night. not a good experience.

nice, basic hotel room. everything was very clean and it was super easy to check in and check out. not a whole lot of special things, but the price was right. wasn't in the room a whole lot anyways.
Sat on the edge of the bed and it tipped like and uneven picnic table. Had to sit on each side at the same time to keep it stable.
Staff where very friendly, reception staff, maids where all really nice. Very well located, very safe neighbourhood. Try the sports bar/restaurant over the road and they give you free food up to 10.99 with your main meal. For staying at this hotel. Not bad!!!!!! would have give 5 out of 5 for the staff but the guy on the reception in the morning is not the friendliest of people but hey maybe he has been up all night doing the night shift. who would be!
