The motle and staff were great but an ice storm left the parking lot a mess it never did thaw

We checked in around 8pm after a wedding and the front desk lady working was not so welcoming, she didn't smile and had a monotone voice while addressing us as guest. She didn't look quite happy to be there. When we got into our room, it was as pictured. It's really dated and felt like a motel room. The shower was really claustrophobic so we didn't use it. The bathroom area smelled mildewy and the toilet ran water the whole time. We just shut the sliding door to tune it out. The sink faucet could be changed to something that runs water smoothly instead of the jet streams style. It doesn't help with water splashing everywhere, not to mention it's too close to the back of the sink so you barely had room to wash hands properly. The bed was comfortable and blanket was weighted so we slept comfortably. The only complaint was the other guests down the hall were super loud from 9pm-1am. At 11pm, we went out to see what the heck was going on and the hotel owner noticed and came to the room that was making so much noise and talked to them. They seemed to quiet down but were still talking loudly. We eventually fell asleep. Breakfast is 6-9am everyday. They've got toast, mini bagels, cereal, milk, orange juice, coffee, waffles and danishes, muffins and mini donuts. The seating and tables could be cleaned better. The owner is really nice and some of the hotel employees are polite and courteous, as I was leaving, a lady doing housekeeping said to have a nice day and be safe while smiling.

It was OK really smelled of smoke in lobby but no smoke smell in our room. Room was nice couldn't get hot water for quite a while had to let it run about 10 min. The sink wouldn't hold water to wash your face Breakfast didn't have fruit or yogurt available Said there was decaf coffee but only if you made it in your room none at breakfast location.

I had a really nice time. Nice employees. Very quiet. I highly recommend.

This hotel was very clean considering how out-dated it was. The bed was very comfortable and we had a great night's rest. For the most part it was pretty quiet except for some running on the floor above us throughout the night. Would suggest an updated renovation but I would definitely stay here again.

Got charged twice for room. Needs lots of improvements. Pool and fitness closed. Rooms need painted etc.

This very run down place was under construction. We witnessed the construction in our room. There was paint splattered all over the old stained carpet and curtains. The room stunk of who knows what and the partical cheap furniture was broken. Management was very rude and was unwilling to do anything.

Upon arrival, the hotel seemed pretty nice. At check in the desk attendant was helping get towels rather than checking us in, in our room there was toilet paper and trash in the sink, friends in another room found candy in thier pillow and the deck clerk said it wasnt his problem that it was housekeeping. Very rude and un willing to help. Will not be staying there again.

The staff at the front desk were just there to check you in. Staff wasn't anymore happy that you chose to stay with them or the hotel next door. My husband and I travel alot and have for vacation, so we have stayed at a variety of hotels and resorts. This hotel wasn't a five star but when staff are excited that you showed up to their hotel can make a diffence. The room was average, clean but carpet was duck taped between the bathroom floor and the bedroom. You can hear the highway noise in your room and people and kids running up and down the hallway. The Continental breakfast was below average, displaying breads, hard boilded eggs, two cereal selections with milk, coffee, wafals you make yourself. Problem is you have all the kids, adult unattended making wafals that take 5 minutes or so to make. I waited 35 minutes before I could get one made. Was tired of waiting and decided to split it with my husband getting cereal and three boiled eggs and returned to my room. The bed was nice and comfortable. Upon leaving our room we did get a cheerful good morning from a young housekeeper that was African American. That made my morning. The other staff need to smile more. Other than that not bad for the price.

The toilet was running, the air conditioner knob was broken, the refrigerator was so loud it sounded like a helicopter. The window had a large crack in it. All the items were reported after the first night of a three night stay. The issues were never repaired.

Large room with lots of lights, along with microwave and fridge. Nice pool. Computer room with multiple computers, printer, fax machine. Good breakfast including make-your-own waffles and hard boiled eggs, and it's available until 10 am! Access road alongside the interstate is a bit confusing, but the location is good.

I WOULD PREFER TO HAVE HAD YOGURT INSTEAD OF THE HARD BOILED EGGS FOR BREAKFAST CHOICE.

Hotel location is great. Very close to shopping, dinning and local bars. EZ access to Highway! Hotel is Ok, although it looks and feels like a hotel. Carpet was little dirty and peeling off. Rooms are little small and may need some refinishing. Indoor pool is pretty nice but cold. Definitely the exercise room needs some maintenance; only 1 machine out of 3 works. Overall, price is good ... but you get the same at a motel.

Good Contentinal breakfast. They actually had hard boiled eggs. Really nice pillows. Wifi did not work but they had a great business center.

The room and entire hotel smelled of cigarette smoke. There were problems with the checkout and they were unable to print our receipt. During our second day of the stay, other guests walked right into our room while we were there - they had been given a key to our room while we were still there.

Staff was uniquely kind. we had some gross, burnt papers in our microwave, but the girl at the desk was very friendly and cleaned it right up! The pool was very cold, but was remarkably clean. Had some trouble with check-in with our cards, but all was cleared up.

The owners of this hotel are apparently an extended family, so kids and relatives are always about. On the third floor where I stayed the carpet by the elevator was quite grease stained and the elevator floor remained dirty. The wireless internet kicked me off about once an hour. They knocked on my door at about 8 pm one night, wanting to install a new cabinet or other piece of furniture. On the plus side, location is ok, most everything else was ok, although I prefer the sink be in the bathroom, not outside.
