The only negatives are: 1) Website said suite sleeps 5...not true. Sleeps 4 (with hide-a-bed). 2) Room smelled strongly of fish...last guest probably cooked fish in kitchenette. PLEASE DEODORIZE between guests.
Nice to relax after a day at work away from home. Very quiet.
Hotel was nice and clean but really overpriced. Room is very small and not worth the money for a quick overnight stay before heading to the airport the next morning. Breakfast was nice but low quality.
I didn’t need to rent a car. The free shuttle service within a 3 mile radius was great! Breakfast daily and supper with beer and wine Monday through Thursday was convenient. Staff was super friendly and helpful.
This hotel was a wonderful stay. It was close to everything i.e.: the beach, malls, all kinds of restaurants. A great stay.

What a nice, comfortable, quiet hideaway near the airport! We enjoyed a hot, bounteous breakfast each morning, and the staff members were happy and friendly. The highlight of the trip was a Segway tour of downtown, historical Pensacola which was just five minutes away.
Front desk staff was very courteous and friendly. Gave us the option of what floor we wanted to be on. The room was clean and comfortable. I was very surprised how quiet it was considering it was so close to the airport and a major thoroughfare. Only downside was no where close to get gas for rental car and a better selection of area resturants. I will definitely stay again when I'm in the Pensacola area.

The staff was very friendly. Our maid was a little lax but, I don't think that is the normal experience. Everybody was super helpful and friendly. Gym, Laundry, Outdoor pool, 5 min from airport, 5 min from very large indoor mall with everything, 8 min from a walmart, full kitchen, Breakfast, and evening snacks on weekdays (with a posted menu for the week in your room), You just can't beat it.
Down to the beach. Nothing missing, every thing was good. If I was on the beach it would have been fine.
We were visiting Pensacola for a few days to basically relax on the beach. We arrived at the Homewood Suites around 3:30 p. m. and our room was ready (plus). The representative at the front desk was patient and kind when explaining all of the hotel amenities. (He even called the room later that evening to make sure that everything was to our satisfaction.) We were impressed with the size of our two bedroom suite-more than enough room for a family of four. The beds were comfortable and we had enough pillows which is usually a problem. This hotel also offered a complimentary evening meal M-Th which helped us save money during our vacation. The food was delicious! The hotel location was in close proximity to everything that we wanted to visit (Pensacola Beach, Sam's Fun City, restaurants, and shopping). The only somewhat negative that we experienced was the noise level of the air conditioning unit whenever it would jump on and off. Other than that we couldn't be more pleased with our stay and will definitely be staying at the Homewood Suites again!
One of the nicest hotels that I have stayed in recently, and the location was perfect. It was accessible to everything.
I didn't know what I was getting into when I made the reservations. I knew the part of town and knew it was safe, but hotel wise I didn't know anything about. The hotel was fabulous. Very clean, very nice furniture and very roomy. A King size room could handle a couple of kids staying in the living room area on the fold out couch. The Kitchen was great also. I enjoyed being in the room very much and will tell all my friends and family how wonderful the stay was. I plan on making all my trips and checking to see if there is a Homewood Suites available. We had a continental Breakfast which was very nice and the dining area was very large. Not like a lot of these hotels where the dining area is cramped. Homewood Suites has it together in Pensacola, Florida. Thumbs up to the Manager there.
