The princess Hamilton is an absolutely beautiful hotel. The staff are so well trained and are there to take care of anything you might need. The pools are gorgeous the location is close to so many restaurants and shopping and the rooms are exquisitely decorated.

Good location. Frayed carpet. Bathtub that wouldn't drain and that they couldn't fix. The $11/person-day cleaning fee disclosed by Orbitz turned into $33/day on my bill. Although I was solo the hotel claimed that theoretically three people COULD have stayed in my room.

I have stayed at the Fairmont Southampton a few times and this was my first time staying at the Princess. The location was great and easily accessible to downtown Hamilton. The hotel has a lot of art by various artists, including a Picasso sketch. The infinity pool was nice, however I did notice that in the mornings the area was not always tidied and that water and sunscreen were not put out everyday. The Beach club was great they have kayaks and bodyboards for guests to use. It's right by the Fairmont Southampton beach which is also very nice. Next time I'm in Bermuda I will go back to stay at the Princess.

Location was nice close to the downtown area. Easy walking to shops

I had purchased a luxury upgrade and requested rooms on the same floor with my traveling companions. I was given a room built into the ground with a view of a wall. My companions were not even on the same floor. After talking to the front desk, I had to pay another $600 to have them moved to the room next to me. I was never offered a nicer room which was highly disappointing since I had upgraded to luxury. I would like Orbitz to take up this complaint on my behalf with the manager a the Hamilton.

This prime location was the deal breaker; on the marina bay and adjacent to city centre where restaurants and activities outside of the property were walking distance.

Spent 4 nights at the Hamilton Princess (July 15 - 18 2019) and it was a great experience. We have not been back to Bermuda in years. Back in the day, the HP was the nicest big hotel on the island, but I set my expectations low, as I figured things had degraded over the years. I even prepped the family - "this will not be the Four Seasons" - but I was wrong. A ton of money has been poured into the hotel and it shows. New rooms, new restaurants, new pools, renovated older areas. Very nice. I was travelling with my wife and two teenage daughters. We booked a room with 2 beds (for about $430 per night). Upon arrival, they asked if we wanted to upgrade to a "suite", which is basically the same room we booked and an additional sitting area. I looked at that package when I booked it and it was over $1,000 per night. But they offered it at $180 extra per night. We took it. The room turned out to be very nice. We were in a new wing I think - at least it was not part of the main building - and it was clean and very nicely appointed. Nice sitting room with a fold out couch, nice bedding, beautiful bathroom, and a nice large balcony. It was not quite Four Seasons, but it was only a hair behind it. Facilities overall were great. The main pool is beautiful, though the seating can go fast. The gym was great. We did not use the adults-only pool, but it looked quite nice. And the Beach Club - that was a revelation. Restaurants are all excellent. The only slight - all very expenensive!

Great location in Hamilton. Loved the amenities and beach club. Service was slow but friendly and accommodating.

Location and hospitality Friendly staff and quality not quantity

The private beach and the beach amenities are outstanding. Well worth the 20 minute ride! Close to downtown Hamilton (great restaurants/pubs).

Everyone, and everything The staff The property The beach The pool The food The location The shops The spa

Property was updated & clean. Staff was very friendly & accommodating. Restaurants on property were very good. Wish adult pool had a jacuzzi & better view of the ocean. The step up blocks the view. Spent most of our time in the family infinity pool since it was newer & had the jacuzzi. Private beach was nice, however they needed more staff & chairs to handle the amount of people that attended the day we were there. The facilities at the beach were clean.

It’s hard to write this review because I’ve stayed so many different places. I realize this is one of the premier stays in Bermuda but I would rate it as just ok. I have been to Bermuda a lot and hit pretty much all it’s beaches and it truly surprised me how nice the private beach and its facilities were. Really amazing. The wait staff there was not so much. I had been passed over all day for drinks (if I waiting without asking) during one of my days there which blew my mind. If I were to go and ask for something it was a bit slow but did get there....At the hotel the food was great, room was decent but very clean and the main building is breathtaking. I found it was hit or miss with the desk staff and the cleaning either needed more help or was poorly managed....very late turn overs for the room passed 4pm and sometimes later. A very nice surprise was the door men when you were entering the hotel. These guys were full of knowledge of the country and could literally answer any question you could have from local wildlife or were to get a good drink. They always had witty comments and something funny to say to get a smile out of you...These guys should be in management with such great people skills and problem solving. In short I would stay there again but it would be because of the private beach....if I’m spending the money I was spending I like the service to be on point...When you see the hotel you will understand why you would expect so much from it.
