The property is extremely dated. Our room had chewed gum on the headboard of the bed. The soaps in the shower were not filled. There was rarely anyone at the front desk.
The check in staff was wonderful and friendly. They made sure we were happy with our room and the entire place was decorated all seasonal. I also appreciated how clean it was.
Place is a bit shabby and in need of updates in the rooms. Lobby, pool and breakfast room we're clean and neat. Garbage piled behind building. For the price, it was adequate.
Loved the jacuzzi sweet and the recommendation of where to eat. The owner mentioned the Truckers Inn which, was delicious. My hubby and I ate there twice and the stff and food are amazing. We had a great time swimming and enjoying the hot tub very relaxing. I highly recommend this hotel we had a great time. Not to mention the furry welcome from miss zora.

They are engaged in the community and were doing a family friendly Halloween activity on Saturday. I like the Halloween decorations in the lobby. They did not have a computer so I could do check in for my flight or print a boarding pass.
I wasn't looking for anything special. They had beds and all i needed for a personable price
Slept well, Not a lot for continental breakfast. Hotel was nice, but room is small and hard to plug in a cell phone charger. TV way over to side beccause of lack of plug ins But refriderator and microwave were nice. Pool looked nice.
We found the hotel room a little ho-hum, needing to be repainted, but the bed was comfortable and the pool warm. The breakfast had a very good selection of possibilities. The workout room was across the street but was nice to have.
It's easy to rind, and close to any conveniences you might need.
The pool and hot tub were unexpected but definitely appreciated and the bed was very comfortable after a good hot shower and drying off with a reasonably soft towel. On a scale of 1 to 10 on towel softness, it was an 8. Many pool towels are like sandpaper.
Did not have our registration when we got there. The room was smoke smelling when we got there. The bath room stool did not work right. We had very little hot water for showers. Room was not very clean, Breakfast was not any good. Very bad motel.
I appreciate the clean room and open-minded to requests I asked for. I am physically disabled and stayed in "wheelchair accessible" room. This room wasn't really accessible. Can barely get my wheelchair in the bathroom. Only ONE grab bar and that was above toilet. May be handy for men, but not for women. The bathtub had only ONE built-in bar. Which isn't a real grab bar. The bathroom may not be able to change its size, but multiple grab bars needs to be added to bathtub area and on wall(s). For bathtub area at least two. Outside of bathtub area two. These need to be actual grab bars. For the entrance into building, the first door from outside. The threshold needs to be built up. Anyone who is in wheelchair, walker, and limited mobility will have very difficult time getting into the building. It was frustrating for me. And difficult for my son to push me through while holding door open at same time. Otherwise this hotel to me was pretty basic. Nothing really was "glamorous" to be a hotel. I thought it was more like a motel version. Although it was nice enough to stay and sleep and go for the day. All I would recommend is to make rooms/bathrooms more handicapped friendly otherwise stay was good.
only stayed a few hours each night. Beds could use an upgrade. Breakfast wasn't much. Room was clean, staff friendly.

We greatly enjoyed the hot tub and pool. I appreciated having a room on the main floor. The price was exceptional. We were very happy with our stay. We will stay again at the GuestHouse.

As for the garbage, we have a dumpster behind the hotel so I am not sure why there would be garbage piled up behind the building but this is definitely something I will look into.
