I stayed here for 3 nights and here is my review. Location wise 10-15 mins walking distance from walking street. Lots of shop, restaurants nearby so you don't have to worry for food at all. Room wise it is ok. I just payed Rs 1500 for 3 nights using coupons on clear trip so can't complain at all. But still, I would stay it would do the job. A little bit of renovation of the room though would have helped. I would say it suits better for backpackers than family trips. Rooms and bed were clean but were not changed during our stay. The staff at the reception was very good and was quite honest about her commissions. However, she was insisting a lot to avail services like taxi, water sports package etc especially from her. of course, for her commission. Overall, it was a good stay and I would definitely come back. In short, cheap and good.
On arrival we were told by the motorbike taxi riders that were parked across the small entrance to the hotel, that we couldn't park at the hotel entrance, I then spoke to a lady receptionist that came out to see what the problem was, I told her I was a guest and immediately she had an area cleared for me to reverse into, there is only room for 4 vehicles to park, yet the hotel has 45 rooms! The lobby/reception area was absolutely filthy, and there were two threadbare settees that a couple of staff used all the time, one was a young lady and her very young daughter used to sleep on one. We produced our passports, photocopies were made, and passports returned to us. No key charges were made. Our room and my son and daughters room both had a funny smell to them, this disappeared once the air con was switched on. The bed was comfortable to sleep on, but the bedding wasn't white and clean as it should be. We were asked it we needed the room cleaned as we were leaving the hotel, that's if there was anyone in reception, plus there were no indicators to hang on the door to let staff know. Bottled water was never brought to our room unless we asked for it, and even then we had to ask three or four times before we got any. There wasn't a restaurant, or coffee shop, or sauna, or satellite tv as was advertised on the particular hotel website that we used. I have messaged that hotel website. Don't believe photos that may be shown for this hotel, they were taken when the hotel first opened and make it look very nice. We didn't pay a great deal of money to stay at the hotel, but I have paid similar amounts at other hotels and had the full facilities and great service. I will never give this hotel a recommendation, other than don't stay there! The area the hotel is situated in is a well known area for entertainment, bars and eateries, baht buses and motorbike taxis are plentiful, helpful and cheap. Local 7-11's are in abundance and sell virtually everything you will need, large and small supermarkets are also nearby. Clothing market for shorts, tee shirts, sun glasses, shoes etc; is on Tues and Friday. Pattaya beach is a short walk or bus ride away, Jomtien is a good bus ride away but also cheap. If you go to the area get a better hotel than we had and enjoy your stay. Ours was a no cancellation deal, that's why we didn't move, we could have changed rooms but the others were no different, and everyone who stays there will have a different feeling or experience of the place, this is just my, my wife's, my son and daughter in laws honest review!
My stay here was pretty nice, I just found the place a little rundown. The pool isn't very appetizing and the place looks abit old. The staff are friendly, From out the front it looks like the hotel isn't even open none off the lights are on at night time.
Nice hotel.. Friendly staff really good bed.. Very good sleep... no restaurant but lot of food options around... Many taxi bikes on entrance to move around on the main road and centrally located to market and malls
You want luxury - stop reading! This super-low-budget hotel provides very basic accomodation consisting of bed, TV, fridge, desk, wardrobe, balcony. But step outside for breakfast in numerous locations, explore the colourful local scene or hop on a taxi and go enjoy the beach or Walking Street for 10 Baht. Or just saunter downtown in 10 minutes. Recommended for small budgets, leaving you pocket money to spend on what you enjoy doing. Tip: enjoy the culinary diversity! Pat & Tik
Being a loving person of trancil place to sleep and nearby most things, just loved it. Ants you got anywhere. Buy a sachee of antkiller powder in bigc and nomore probs for only 16 baht. Got friendly with staff and I always sleep alone, they know it and they always been so good for me.
I booked the “Superior Double” on the third floor for 6 nights over the New Year celebrations on 19th October. Over my three and half week holiday in Thailand, this hotel was the 8th and final hotel. It is in a good location on Soi Buakhao, close to the market, 7-11 and a laundrette. Reasonably quiet outside considering there were a few late night bars. It is a spacious room with decent sized wardrobes. WI-FI wasn’t great during the stay and could be down for periods of an hour at most. Several times I spoke with the staff in the lobby who would explain that they were looking into it and eventually it would restart. The bathroom was very small by comparison. Room had a balcony that just seemed pointless to use due to space. The bathroom consisted of a sink with a cabinet in the corner and a shower unit. The bedroom itself seemed reasonably clean. I woke up on the first morning with ants running from the right side of room underneath the bed. They were also on top of the bedside cabinet next to me, which was same level as the mattress. A few were on the mattress. They had no reason to be on the cabinet as I hadn’t used it. I gave it a wipe down. Ants eventually disappeared. I presumed the previous occupant had spilt a sugar based drink. We left early afternoon and returned late in the evening to discover that the sheets and towels had not been changed. By our account compared to other hotels we had stayed at during this trip we had given enough time. On enquiring with the front hotel staff next morning we were advised we had to request if we wanted the room cleaned at the time we handed in our room key. That same morning ants were still running under the bed. This time they were on the cabinet of my girlfriend as she had left uneaten food there overnight. Food and ants carefully removed to a bin in the street. Next morning happy to report no ants. Three days in the rubbish on the floor of the hotel lift was getting worse which made me change my mind on using their pool. What with everything going on in my room I didn’t have faith that the indoor pool would be clean and hygienic. In truth I never gave the pool a proper inspection. Following morning ants running under the bed again, I looked under it and it appeared to be full of fluff and dirt and who knows what else. I asked the front hotel staff to clean under bed. To be honest I think they did but I was to be leaving Thailand soon and that exhausted from asking about things. That night I discovered the “do not disturb/please clean room” card at the back of the TV cabinet whilst attempting to retrieve something I had dropped behind there myself. At least there was no need to ask to clean any more. Penultimate morning ants had again returned, I had no idea why. I took a photo of the shower system and showed the lobby staff as it occurred to me that the whole time the shower had been dangling and I didn’t want them to think that I had broken/removed part of the unit. I explained how using it water just went everywhere. I was told all bathrooms were the same and expensive to change. Having seen someone else photo of a suite on Trip Advisor I found that a tad hard to believe. I’ve stayed in worse hotels in Pattaya but I would prefer not to stay here again if given the chance.
In a good location, 15 mins from beach for men for the ladys probably a lot longer haha (as a lot of shops, markets etc) good standard of room, although got a few ants now and again, friendly staff, near lots of bars, sometimes play music till 3 am, but not to bad, had a good stay, and would recomend for most people, but not t if you dont like musichaha
I went on a holiday along with my friend last week. The hotel was fantastic and so was the staff. They were very sweet and always ready to help. There were 2 lady managers at the reception both of them were very kind. They also helped us in picking the right adventure tour package (deep sea diving, parasailing, fishing, snorkeling). The room was kept sparkling clean at all times. It was also very close to all the nearby attractions, pubs etc. There was free wifi, TV, large bed, hot and cold shower, balcony with good view. Surprisingly calm and peaceful. This is by far the best experience i've ever had in any hotel. I would definitely recommend this to everyone and i look forward to visit once again very soon.
I was given the room on the 4th floor. It comes with a balcony, TV, large bed, large closet and attached bathroom where we have a sitting w.c. and a hot and cold electric instant shower. The mattress is hard, you can also say solid feel. The furnishings are old but fairly clean. The whole room bring you back memories of the 1960s to the 1970s era! The hotel staff are friendly and helpful. They also provide in house massage service @ 300 Baht per hour! Although there are ample tuk tuk operating in front of the hotel, I am still unable to determine the correct routes they operate on. Being a sole traveller, I use the motorbike taxi for about 40 to 50 Baht per trip to Beach road or Walking Street! There are plentiful of bars, massage parlours, mini stalls and food carts available in the vincity!
