I visited this resort almost 7 years back for my honeymoon. Beautifully designed resort situated in middle of the city where you can feel nature very close to you. Great hospitability with good food. Overall good experience.
The resort is maintained well and the staff are very cordial. Pros: Nice and Tidy rooms Indian Food was palatable Easy access to main roads Cons: When we stayed, the outside road was not lit properly. Safety concern Pool could be cleaned regularly.
I have stayed in this hotel for 3 days. Food was good. Rooms were spacious. Swimming pool was clean. Staff was very much supportive. Resort is little bit far from City Center. It is best suited for Honeymooners or couples. It is not suited for family.
great stay at Royal orchid resort, pattaya staff friendly and helpful in every way we needed. the rooms were nice, clean and comfortable. the breakfast was ok, we loved the beach, shoppings and walking street. we also went to coral, it was a fantestic.... we would go back to this hotel again on our next visit, infect we have already spoken to Manager, who has given us his buisness card so we can contact them easily on our next trip, lovely service.
My family and I had a brilliant and 'all too short' (because of future travel arrangements) stay at Royal Orchid Resort, pattaya . The service and breakfast were both fantastic and the staff, particularly well led by the hospitable Hotel Manager Rahul, could not do enough to accommodate our needs.
This hotel was the last resort as it was new year and all others were full. Very tired looking hotel damp on the walls, air-con very weak and cracked panels around the ceiling. changed to another room even though was told we had the last room . Huh!!! all rooms were empty until about three coaches of Indians arrived no problems till next evening when they had all gone and three coaches full of Chinese arrived they were noisy, and always huddled together everywhere.Gave up on breakfast. third crowd to arrive on New years eve was 3 coaches of Thais also very noisy but no problems. The rooms are in need of renovation staff were friendly and rooms were clean a bit out of the way needed transport everyday and night.
To begin with, I am appalled by the number of negative reviews on this hotel. Perhaps I was lucky to have got the best of what the hotel had to offer. Nice Indian breakfast (a boon for veggies like us), great room service, large rooms with balcony, and easy access to beach road and walking street. The bed is a bit hard as some members have suggested but otherwise we had a very pleasant stay! Mr. Atif was very helpful with his quick tips and he also packed lunch for us on the day we departed to Bangkok. My wife and I stayed here for 5 nights and loved every bit of it. All negative comments on staff is pretty much unjustified.
The location is alright, close to the Dolphin roundabout which is known to all. The good thing is that everyone knows the place, so you can be dropped back easily and for cheap. Room cleanliness is just average. A few bugs here and there near the coffee mugs. The swimming pool is clean and was never used, probably since there werent much residents. Service is a concern. To start with, they were not able to understand most of the things which you ask them. Even worse, all service stops around 1030. You can't even get a bottle of water after that.
Me and my wife stayed in Royal orchid hotel for 3 days. Amazing hotel with nice facilites. We were served with awesome indian food and especially Mr Atif the staff of cafateria was very friendly and very helpfull gave us an brief overview of pattaya and the must see places.. Think ill give 5 star for his service itself. Good place for Indians to go .. Being a Cabin Crew i recommed this place
we stayed for 03 nights and our experience is so bad, rooms are full of mosquito , Breakfast is Poor, Staff has no courtesy Location is far away from walking street no conveyance is available you have to walk long long, If u want to relax in pattaya avoid this Hotel
