The location of this property was excellent. Right on Beach Road. In between all the action. Street food and restaurants all over. The room was clean. I couldn't change the time of the clock though and the hotel staff didn't do it when I asked them to. It's a network clock. They need to incorporate a don't change the towel policy if you leave it hanging to conserve water.
Property was probably very nice when it was built, however it's seen some wear and tear.

A nice view with sea view room. Walking range to the Walking Street.convenient location. You can walk back to hotel at 2 or 3am Without any concern. The staff can arrange taxi to airport or Bangkok at reasonable price.
Was initially driven to the wrong hotel. There is another LK hotel in Pattaya. The LK Empress is on the beach. Hotel is a bit rustic and dated in decor, but in an elegant way. Staff are friendly. I found my room to be pretty clean except for the bathroom which seemed to have some bugs/termites eating away at the wood. Bathroom had a jacuzzi and a stand-in shower. My stay was short so I didn't bother to bring it up. The pool is nice and there is a gym for those who need a workout. You can't beat the location. It's not too far of a walk from Walking Street. It's also near several malls, a supermarket, etc. The hotel offers both standard stay and extended stay options, however you definitely should book in advanced. I noticed another traveler trying to see if there were any available rooms one night and they were turned down due to full occupancy. This hotel is popular with groups, noticed a Japanese and Russian group staying here. The breakfast was really good. Buffet style, omelettes to order, asian oriented food, and lots of deserts and fruits etc. Breakfast, pool, and location a definite plus.

I've been at the LK the Empress a few times and it's always been great. This year they have enclosed the restaurant area in glass, which spares the guests from Pattaya bloodthirsty bugs. I would like to see some improvement regarding water pressure and temperature but I will come back regardless
