Stayed here for 3 weeks and found the hotel to be very central for all activities in Pattaya. We requested a room change so that we could have a corner room and this was dealt with without any problem. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Our maid Malee was very thorough and kept our room spotless. We have stayed at this hotel previously and we could see that some changes were being made to the hotel. Upgrading of the kids pool and a children’s corner have been done. Great for kids. Also the aqua bar has been refurbished and looks amazing. Nice food too. A big thanks to Josh, the manager there, who made us very welcome in the bar. See you all again in february when we return.
Returned again for a short trip and once again the rooms where a good size clean and tidy, the pool area is lovely and they have updated the pool area and made it more family friendly and added a kids club, the Aqua Bar has been refurbished with a great new décor since our last visit in June 2017. We will be back again my only little grumble would be breakfast was not as good as in June it was more Asian this time around but that could have been due too the amount of Asian guests as I said no real big issue.
The hotel is in south Pattaya near everywhere you can walk to The Walking Street, Central Festival, or just cross the road and walkna bit to see the beach. The room rate price is worth price. Room is clean and hv many facilities. I love big pool! At here hv kid club and bar good for family. Just walk a bit you can see many food shop outside. And they are pet welcome hotel.
We booked this hotel in March 2017 for our visit in October as they were doing a special promotion. Later in the year I started read reviews mentioning noise from an adjoining building site but as the booking was none refundable decided to carry on. When we arrived we found a new large hotel was indeed being built at the rear of our hotel but noise was minimal, limited to fitting the new rooms out so no problem. The room we had on the 7th floor was small and in need of refurbishment as is most of the hotel, you could not dry yourself in the shower the toilet area is that small. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, we did not use the restaurant so I can't comment on the food, overall not a great experience and we will not be using this hotel again.
All the staff in the Mercure Hotel are very friendly and helpful, rooms are clean and spacious and wifi in every room, situated in quiet area but close to all amenity's, lovely large swimming pool with children's pool which has just had slides etc put in also a new children's play area, the new Bar is finished and looks great, only downside the construction work being carried out in the Hotel next door but the noise is during the daytime so no noise at night but this will be finished soon. This was my first time at Mercure Hotel and stayed for three weeks I would certainly go back next year, thank you to all the staff for making it so pleasant
Reception friendly helpful and efficient as every stay we have enjoyed. Rooms and housekeeping staff are very welcoming. Chief Vut busy working on the new menus and we were lucky to try some of his new dishes. The beautiful pool a big attraction for the hotel was at times poorly supervised, and some guests not abiding by the pool rules. The wifi around the pool was poor and sometimes unacceptable noise level from construction with in the hotel and adjacent building site. This will all be completed for our next stay
We had a great stay here - perfect for a weekend getaway. The rooms were clean, well appointed and spacious. We had breakfast each day and the buffet dinner one night - all very good. We had a problem with the booking website but the Mercure manager (Tim) intervened and solved the problem magnificently - we feel he went the extra mile and really made our stay better than we expected.
This is a good time for family at Mercure Pattaya. We are all happy to stay at this hotel. Next time, if we have opportunity, we will stay at Mercure again. This hotel can provide to suit with our budget also
Stayed here for a couple of nights. It’s a good value 3 star hotel well located . Due to travel delays I couldn’t stay the first night but Tim the manager was very helpful in not charging for the cancellation. Overall staff are very friendly except the breakfast team who need a bit of additional “training “ .
The staff and location make this Mercure hotel. They are so friendly and welcoming, nothing is too much, also the location is ideal, near enough to the main areas in Pattaya but also away from the hustle and noise. The only downside is that the actual hotel is dated and not of the standard of other Mercure hotels that I've stayed in. However it is clean and the price is good value for the hotel There is some refurbishment work going on in the bar area (it was closed for refurbishment while I was there), hopefully accor also have a plan to refurbish rooms, corridors, lobby and pool area over the forthcoming year. However.. Don't be put off staying at this hotel as it is an ideal base to explore the area and you will love the friendliness of all the staff. Poolside drinks and snack meals also recommended, breakfast was basic but adequate. Will definitley return although would be nice to see some money spent by accor to spruce up some aspects of this Mercure hotel.
