Very nice room with a nice bed. Nice view outside the room. Negative is the shower doesn’t hold any temperature. It cycles from hot to cold and will not stay the same temperature. The room was very nice.
The hotel is in a great spot in Patong. Four waters a day really helped. Great touring service right inside the hotel. The staff was really helpful and attentive to my needs.
Very close to the beach, extremely attentive and accommodating staff. The excursions liaison got me and my friend good deals on trips, and it was overall a great experience. I saw reviews about fake charges for stained towels and such - just behave like a responsible adult and don't permanently stain anything, you'll be fine. The hotel's rules for their rooms are perfectly reasonable (for example I saw a review complaining about fruit restrictions but the rules are fairly standard: no durian -smells terrible- and no mangosteen -leaves permanent stains). This was a great hotel. A little noisy because of the night market across the street but I had no problem sleeping with the AC's white noise and earplugs. Highly recommend.
Dirty floors and odor problems in room. Bad situation as the hotel had no rooms for 3 adults to move to ! Close to beach and lower prices are the draw. Staff was friendly but unable to fix the problem ! A very hard room to get to, elevator to 3rd floor, walk up to 4th floor then down back staircase two floors to room. When you run into a situation like this, in a popular area, your stuck! Back stairs do not go down to main level, so each time you leave room you have to go thru this stair issue, both ways!
Swimming pool and jacuzzi not upkept well. Western dinner was bad at the hotel. With exception of 1 bad night/afternoon counter staff, the rest of the staffs was fantastic! Lovely room, huge bath tub (which my kids loved), seperate showers. Breakfast was simple and gets boring after the 3rd day. But plently of food around, so no worries. Car park available at the back. Beach towels is at 50 baht/day rental.
First, I spend approximately one third of the year in hotels. On the surface, this hotel seemed nice. Nice location, freshly rebuilt building after the tsunami, flash, etc. Then, after a few days, it all seemed to fall apart. Our hotel room was in a separated building over a bar (not mentioned!), they had sketchy or non-existent wireless, the hotel staff book taxi services that use incompetent drivers, and, they charged 80 baht for ONE broken bathroom drinking glass. (You do the conversion!) The glass cost no more than 5 baht, but it was a shakedown at checkout - and we wound up paying for 16 glasses. Worse yet, I emailed management and received a deaf ear to my request for a refund. It's one of many convenient hotel locations, but there are other properties that are surely more competent and less greedy. This left a bad final taste on what could have been a nice experience. Greedy merchants like this should not be rewarded with hard earned revenue from unsuspecting tourists. I will not stay here upon my next visit. There are many other viable options.
