Valencia Congress Hotel&Spa

This property is far from the city center, with no public transportation, forcing the use of cabs to come and go, which gets expensive. Additionally the staff was slow to take care of requests, many times preferring to say it was impossible rather than try to get it done.

Good location in proximity to highway. Bed was comfortable and room was clean and spacious. Liked the sliding door to separate bedroom from entrance, gave more privacy and less hallway noise. I had dinner at the restaurant and sat for a long period of time before anyone acknowledged me. Gave me menu than didn’t get service, had to call someone over. Ordered dinner and waited a long time. Server finally showed up to ask if I wanted desert. I was still waiting for my dinner. Food was just ok. Service was slow Breakfast was very good. A lot of choices, served hot and cold items.large variety of pastries and breads. lobby bathrooms were set on light sensors, I went in the stall and the lights shut off automatically and left me in the dark. I was stuck in the stall because I couldn’t find the door latch in the pitch darkness. Scary episode!!
