Female at check in desk not very inviting. Heater didn't work, so they bought us a portable one.. Clothes dryer didn't work so they showed us another one. Just needs some maintenance. OK for the money.
The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the TV worked-though the on-screen guide did not. Both doors (entry and bath) are hung off-plumb and required force to open and close.
I appreciated the fact that mgmt called me to inform us we left our pillow. I'd stay again since there was no hassle and well priced.

Updated room 2nd floor. Good value. Bring your own coffee. We only had 1 coffee. Large room. Clean. Large refer. Good wifi.
It was a nice large room. Other than the large stain on the carpet, it was good. I think all hotels, etc should have not have carpet anyway.
The Budget Inn is a great value. Recently remodeled rooms are clean and very nice. Staff was very nice. Convenient location in Paso on Spring Street. Easy to get to the town center, it is a short drive or you can take Uber/Lyft. We will definitely stay here again.
It is a quiet, safe location. NOo fancy, but the rooms are clean and the king size bed is comfortable!
When I called to let them know I was going to beblate due to road construction, they waited for my family to check-in and made us feel like family.

All we needed was a place to arrive late in the evening and get up fairly early the next morning. This hotel fit the bill very nicely. Nothing special about it or the location in town, but it was clean and comfortable. It did its job well. My ratings are based on those expectations rather than comparing it to a much nicer destination hotel.
