For the second year running we have requested a ground floor room as my husband has ill health and having such a room would make life so much easier. I understand this year there was a block booking for a disabled group of people but why put us on the 3rd floor when I explained our need at the time of booking. The receptionist did move us to a floor lower after I complained but I should not have to face this issue when I arrive. Perhaps the company could at least have the decency to advise people in advance if there isn't any chance of a ground floor room. I do like the hotel for convenience to the Eurotunnel and Lidl!

If your staying in Calais over night and want to be near the tunnel this hotel will give you all your basic needs. However the rooms are spacious and clean with staff that welcome you with a smile. Car parking is free. Local restaurants and Cite of Europe for shopping are at walking distance.

This is our number one hotel where we stay time and time again. Great friendly staff, huge rooms. Clean, quiet. Very large car park and good breakfast. New games in the reception area which the kids loved this time!

Most of the guests were Gendarmes obviously employed in Tunnel Security-Charming people. The only member of the staff in charge of the reception was kind and helpful.. The rooms were a combination of hideous design and cheap and nasty rubbish furniture.. We waited 40 minutes for the worst meal of my life- chicken perhaps straight in the pot whilst frozen, dry tough and tasteless neither of us was able to swallow one mouthful.

Up to the usual Novotel standard so clean, serviceable and comfortable. Being "suites" the rooms are slightly larger than usual with, again, the normal Accor feature of the toilet being separate from the bath/shower. Nice breakfast with a choice of continental or cooked.

We stayed for one night in the Novotel Suites hotel at Calais Coquelles as part of our journey down France. As a stopover hotel, it was great. The junior suite we had was ample for a family of four, and we got a great discounted rate. The breakfast had everything we could have wanted, and we ate an evening meal in the Ibis next door, where the service was unusually good.

It was small hotel and the room were clean and the room size were good but there wasn't any thing in the fridge and there were just a small bottle of water in the room and also a pack of nesspreso. But in general the hotel were ok

Regular gold status Accor group. This Novotel is convenient to the City Europe in Calais but about 5K from the town centre. The hotel is clean and the rooms spacious. It was only 10 degrees celsius outside but 25 degrees inside and we had to sleep with the window wide open because the air conditioning didn't work, neither did the mini-bar. We were given complimentary drinks in the mini bar but they were warm so no good. The electrician came and tried to fix it but it never worked in 2 days. The breakfast was JUST ok. The cereals are all children's favourites such as coco pops and frosties but no adult cereals like weetabix, shredded wheat, or all bran etc. The staff were very pleasant and I must just thank Julie who made our life easy on several occasions by booking our favourite Calais restaurants and organising transport ,as there are virtually no taxis in Calais, following their terrible 2 years of problems and lack of tourists. I would stay again but only just

We were very pleased by the large room that could fit our family of four with lots of space to spare. Hotel was clean, breakfast was good, staff was friendly. Hotel is convenie tly located very close from tunnel so it's a welcome break after a long drive.

We often stay at Novelles Suitel in Calais and have done for about 12 years It is very convenient for the tunnel and the rooms are clean and comfortable. There is plenty of room for a family of 3 or even 4 with a screen to divide the room into 2. However the price has risen over the years but the extras such as toiletry packs, snacks and access to UK TV have largely disappeared. We like the hotel but feel that the value for money is not nearly as good as it used to be even with a loyalty card.
