Hotel Indigo Basking Ridge

Located in clean and quiet area. Rooms were clean and food at hotel was good.

Hotel Indigo was a pleasant surprise. Based upon the price, I had fairly low expectations but my concerns were unfounded. If I need to stay in a hotel in Basking Ridge again, I would definitely consider Hotel Indigo as long as the price remains competitive. I hope that the owners don't ruin this property by lavishly remodeling it and then jacking the rates up to pay for it. The existing "Euro Style" decor is bright, convenient and comfortable so there is no reason to spend a lot of money to change it. Since Hotel Indigo is not easily visible, most of their business is probably repeat customers and people like me who find it online. The owners need to maintain their low rates in order to attract attention online. Otherwise, most customers will choose a "brand name" property that they know and trust.

It was a nice stay, would stay there again, was the area we needed, some of the staff was very nice.

Standard hotel, some noise in between rooms, hall, but nothing bothersome. Nice location close to 78 and route back to the airport

Generous timeframe for check in (3 pm) and check out (12 noon). Sleek, modern furniture and decor. No icky carpet; engineered flooring. Quite hotel location, but on this weekend there was a ruckus crowd for an event that lasted until 1 pm. Open shower instead of tub, which made the water spray onto the floor.

I liked it I had a good time there no problems at all would come again

Great location, friendly staff and would definitely visit again.

Stayed here while visiting family for the holidays. Hotel was clean, comfortable and convenient for us. Bed was great and room was quiet. Would definitely stay here again.

Great from beginning to end. Staff were extremely nice and the hotel was clean and comfortable. Loved the fact that my dog can travel with me at your hotel.

We just needed a place to stay in the NY/NJ Metro area for 2 nights that wasn't going to zap our pocketbook. The Indigo was the perfect place. Since we used to live in the area for over 20 years we know about the hotel and the location well. The hotel was very clean and well-maintained. Wish there would have been a mini fridge in the room or even an ice machine (couldn't find one on the 3rd floor) where I was staying).

We went to visit family nearby. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful with a very late check-in. Room was clean and modern, with a comfy bed, good linens, good shower. Now for problems: we noticed greasy stains on the dust ruffle on the bed the first morning. They offered to move us, but we just wanted the ruffle changed--something they did not manage to do over the next two days. The hotel kitchen closes very early and there is no other food available when it closes (not even in vending machines). We forgot some toiletry items--those were also not available (beyond the standard soap, shampoo, moisturizer). These are both problems, since Basking Ridge is a ghost town after 8pm. In short: you can tell that the Hotel indigo is run by Holiday Inn. It's not a boutique hotel by any stretch of the imagination. It's a standard chain hotel, solidly in the middle range.

We were exhausted, having just returned from spending Christmas in Europe - the plane ride was long, other passengers kept me awake, and we had to drive to Brooklyn to pick up things our daughter was sending back to our house before we could sleep. The hotel staff was friendly. The hotel was quiet. The rooms were secure through limits placed by having to swipe your room card, and there were no worries. Breakfast was too expensive to eat at this hotel, so we didn't eat here and I can't tell you about the restaurant.

Room was clean and quiet. Staff was pleasant. Reasonably priced. Wish room service was 24 hours but overall a nice hotel.

We regularly visit my inlaws in a nearby nursing home(Fellowship Village); and usually stay at the Courtyard Marriot. [...] when we stayed at Courtyard in June we paid twice as much as this hotel. This hotel is nicer and much, much quieter; no traffic noise from I-78. We will definitely stay here again!
