Location is very cool up in the mountains of Midway. Facilities definitely a little bit older. Some normal leaks in the bathroom and loud pipes. The air filter for the AC vent looked like it hadn’t been changed in six months. Was very fuzzy with dust everywhere. Beds at least seemed very clean. Decent place overall if you’re looking for the fun out-of-the-way experience. No free breakfast sucks because you’re paying for so much compared to other nice places with free breakfast.

There was a large party at the property. It was too loud, people were drunk slamming the doors throughout the night. We couldn't sleep at all. We had to leave this morning at 6:30 am. Management did not do anything nor care about the situation. I will never recommend this place to anyone. We also had dinner at a steak house on the property, another miserable experience, service was terrible. We just had a terrible experience at this property.
Person assigning rooms did worst job possible. Request for near elevator and near sister’s room? As far from elevator as possible; opposite corner from sister, who was btw 2 doors from elevator, after she told me there was no elevator at that end. Shower was never hot. No chair other than desk in room. No hooks for towels or clothes in bathroom. Towels needlessly washed everyday. I’m 5’ and couldn’t get in bed. Had to use desk chair to assist, which was dangerous. No group discount for wedding. Was told there was a discount if we said “wedding at Soldier Hollow” but was told there wasn’t when booking and when asking about this at checkout was told I must have been too late. Period. Tried to confirm and make requests day before arrival—answering service was pleasant but put me on hold 3 times trying to contact hotel to get answers, but no answer. I called directly and was told no requests till I arrived. The people cleaning rooms were lovely, but people at desk were incompetent and there was no attempt to ask for help or to offer help between them. Room was clean, but a small refrigerator would have been useful. Really, really disappointed.
Furnishings are dated and in need of replacement. Water damage and carvings in woodwork. Room was flooded from bathroom leak upstairs and we had to move. Staff was friendly and helped accommodate move quickly. Beds are comfortable.

We LOVED this place. Coming home from our family spring break trip to Vegas we came across this Gem. And we enjoyed every minute of it. We played chess and tennis and also went swimming in the great pool area. We ate at both restaurants and the coffee shop and it was all VERY good (and we are super picky)!! The town was super cute and quaint. We will definitely be back!!
Nice resort 25 minutes drive from Park City
Loved it. Wish there was a bit more lighting in the rooms, but not a huge deal at all. Had a great time. I will have to check out their spa next time.
Dated rooms, but overall pretty comfortable. Convenient parking. The bakery was great! Delicious pastries and coffee! Only issue was very low water pressure. So low in fact, showering was almost impossible.
Check in took a long time. The front desk did not communicate what the issues were as we stood waiting and waiting. It took almost 20 minutes to check in.
This property is beautiful on the outside but the staff is absolutely horrendous. The customer service is almost non existent and everyone acts like they have never worked a day in their life. The front desk offers a great shuttle….that’s if you can get a return trip home. No one ever picks up the phone at the front desk or at the restaurants that are ALWAYS closed. Think twice before you stay here because you are in for a real treat. The only good thing is the bakery, everything else needs A LOT of training and work.
I love the indoor/outdoor pool, although the outdoor pool could use some cleaning. We ate at the Wildwood for lunch, and it was good, and relatively affordable. I'd like to come back another time with grandkids so I can take them on the carousel and mini golfing.
