Stayed here for one night before returning home. We hadn't booked so the gentlemen on reception spoke very good English and quickly found us a room. Reception area is lovely and modern but the corridors are quite shabby and need an update. Our room was very dark (even with all of the lights on) and VERY WARM! There was no air con and the thermostat on the fan didn't seem to cool the room down. You also cannot open the window. The bathroom was lovely with a bath and shower and looked newer than the rest of the room. The bed was very uncomfortable and the rooms are not very sound proof. We could hear every move from our neighbours so neither of us got much sleep. Glad we only stayed for 1 night.
We stayed for two nights. The free shuttle from/to the airport was great and fast. You can have breakfast delivered to your room when you want it and you can decide what you want to have with it. There was good wifi, great service and a lobby bar. I recommend taking an Uber to go to paris, fastest way and fairly cheap (30€ 2person) Bath tub is kinda small... The hotel has a nice wibe to it!
good place to stay. breakfast is good but room quality is average. location of hotel is average. plus point is only it is very close to airport. comparative week other than marcure hotels.overall average hotel.
This is a good place to stay if you have an early flight to catch from Orly or arrive late. It's very close to the airport and the free airport shuttle runs every 20mins. It's also a decent size bus so no worries about not getting on it. The check in procedure is quite tortuous which is the last thing you need when you arrive at midnight and need to be out at 6.30am. The rooms are very basic with very thin towels and sheets but it's ok for a stop over.
Very comfortable room and very calm which was appreciated after a long flight and perfect for a day use hotel. The beds were very comfortable. The receptionist staff are very professional and helpful. The restaurant was excellent! Free news papers at the reception was very much appreciated. No negative points!
Really really disappointed with this hotel. The place is unkempt with weeds overgrowing just outside the reception, the paint is peeling off, the facade has not received cleaning in years, even half the red lights in the name Mercure (in large bold letters at the entrance) are not working - which hotel owner would treat his property so shoddily if he wanta to attract customers... Then comes the uncooperative staff, the dingy, matchbox size smelly rooms, AC not working - staff dont know how to help or are not interested. Please NEVER visit this hotel ever. I have been forced to select one star in the rating above...bit it is actually ZERO
Quite nice hotel , need a car if you wish to go to mall for shopping, helpful stuff, Window does not open , Air Condition does not coll room , only fan run but not so noise at low speed. If you wish to have a cooler room temp it will a problem
Having been to a Mercure hotel only a few days before staying at this one then I hoped it would be as beautiful - sadly not! To be fair, the hotel was only used as a base & it was actually easy to get into Paris. Probably the best thing about the hotel is the regular shuttle bus to Orly airport. This enabled us to get to the airport & then get a bus to Paris & then on the second day, a train to Paris. All very easy & fuss free. When we first got to the hotel, we were given a very soulless room which overlooked the car park. We asked & were given a better room on the 3rd floor. The hotel states that it will be undergoing renovations & is asking for suggestions. My view would be to knock the place down & start again. The reception area looked modern inside but the walk to the hotel rooms is through corridors with no natural light in them as if you are walking into a prison. I wouldn't stay here again.
The Hotel is nice and as decent breaskfat offer. The only thing is that the shower galss in not well built and after a shower there is water all over the flower in the bathroom. For the rest I would recommend the stay since is very convinient in case you need you are arriving or departing from Orly
Shuttle buses every 20 minutes to and from the airport - about 5 minutes away - make this very easy for Orly airport stopovers. My room (378) was rather tired but mostly functional. TV didn't work, but actually I didn't miss hearing the usual torrent of bad news. The shower screen leaked but the loo flushed OK, and the plumbing all worked OK - drinkable water from the tap; courtesy small bottle of water on my first night, but not the second. Excellent blackout curtains keep the morning light out (if you want) and the room was quiet. The bar is small and the staff rather hassled... The food in the restaurant was good, but portions very small, and again, the service was very slow. Check-in and out was fine. All in all, very expensive considering the standard of service, but I guess that's what you get when you stay right next to an airport...!
