One could not ask for a better location. Right across the street from the train station and metro stop is in front of the hotel. Galeries LaFayette and Printemps are 2 blocks away. The Opera House is a short walk. Our room on the third floor was quite spacious and overlooked the square so we could watch Parisians scurry to work. Had a tv, refrigerator, couch, 2 twin beds, and nice bathroom. Each morning, we could smell fresh baked bread before going down to eat. Ample food for breakfast and a killer coffee machine with many choices. The hotel did well dealing with 25 of us for a week. The last morning, they even packed us a sack breakfast to eat en route to the airport. The staff was helpful and some were more knowledgeable than others regarding wifi technology. We did keep getting knocked off the hotel wifi. The other drawback is a tiny elevator so with 25 people it took awhile to go up with luggage. Most of the time we took the stairs which helped work off the morning croissants and pain au chocolate. I would gladly stay here again.
Although centrally positioned with a main Metro station right outside and only a 10 minute walk to Place de Le Concorde, we were relieved to get out of there. Totally indifferent front desk staff - although the cleaning crew were polite and friendly. Breakfast is not included and we thought pricey at 14 Euros a head. Will not be going there again. Sorry
I stayed at this hotel with my husband for four nights in May. Our room was fine; a small one, but clean and quiet. The bathroom was up to date and there was plenty of hot water with a good water pressure even in the 5th floor. The bed was comfortable and we slept well through the nights. On the minus side: the hotel only has one tiny lift (big enough for max. 3 persons; also used by the cleaning etc. staff) which is veeery slow, so be prepared to either wait pretty much every time you want to go up -- or take the stairs. Our biggest criticism goes to the breakfast service, however. There was a general lack of looking after what was left and what needed to be replenished, and we had to ask for very basic things -- BREAD, cheese, eggs, juice -- every single morning. It was as if they were trying to limit the consumption by limiting the supply; starting to boil more eggs only after someone asked for them etc.. The waitress even wanted to explain that she only has two hands. Well, I didn't see her using both of them a single time.
Great value for money. Very good location, metro station right outside the door. Many cafes and restaurants close by. We were on the 5th floor and could still just hear the trains below. This did not bother us but could be an issue if on a lower floor. The room was a bit on the small side but was adequate. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would happily stay there again.
The hotel has a very good and central location in Paris, but it is very noisy. You recognize the subway driving every 10 minutes below the Hotel. The breakfast is continental standard. The rooms are small and have a AC.
I have stayed here three times and I love it. Great location, comfortable rooms, very good breakfast, helpful front desk staff (all the of staff is great). The hotel is directly across from the Gare St. Lazare, near the Opéra Garnier, Galeries Lafayette, Printemps, lots of restaurants, a great neighborhood overall.
Room was very small compared to other hotels. Breakfast was underwhelming- not many healthy choices. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Location of the hotel is excellent for most attractions in the city, very convenient for metro access
Good location next to St. Lazare Metro Train Station - we had 2 rooms on different levels as no family room - basic buffet breakfast - mcdonalds restaurant around corner - great shopping centre across road for groceries - awesome Paul coffee down street - good shops in walking distance
The room was very nicely furnished and comfortable but it was rather small! For 2 people it was not enough. Breakfast was not included in the room rate, but there were many options for breakfast , Paul was just down the street and it served amazing food.
The location is perfect but the rest was poor. Room - if you wish to have a restful evening stay away from the first floors, too much noise from outside. The room was quite outdated and the walls need some serious cleaning. Breakfast- very basic offer and no bread.
- Walking distance to Galeries Lafayette and Paris Opera
- Free WiFi in rooms and public areas
- 24-hour front desk
