very attentive stuff and friendly very helpful!!! i don't speak french and they were super nice!!
This was a very comfy hotel located in a great area with lots of shops and restaurants. Only a few blocks from the metro which was nice and easy to get around the city. The hotel staff was very direct and helpful with check-in. Staff also spoke English which helped with my rusty French. They stored by bags since I arrived early before check-in so I could go exploring and not waste any time. The room itself was very basic, but still very comfy. I wanted this to be a splurge stay for my last night in Paris and honestly felt a bit let down. The pictures make it a lot nicer than it really is. I also chose this hotel because it had an option to get a room with a balcony. You can understand my huge disappointment when my room did not have a balcony. Overall, I don't have a problem with this hotel and the stay was pleasant. I just was let down from what they marketed and what I received.
Good location and centrally located. It was a good value for the price.
I enjoyed staying at this hotel because there were lots of stores around. I was able to sight see and explore near the hotel. I would definitely stay here again!
Hotel Lodge Du Centre was a good first lodging after nonstop from San Francisco. Short cab ride from Gare Du Nord. All staff members at the front desk were friendly, helpful and personable. We were able to check in early. The room itself was extremely small as was the bathroom though clean and felt safe. It is in a good location though disorienting. The breakfast is offered as a courtesy but can easily be beat.
wifi connection was good and good location! Stuffs were very friendly and always smiling, which made me feel good!
Nice small hotel with friendly staff. Few minutes walking from Grand Boulevards Metro station (lines 8 & 9). Breakfast is expensive but there are good coffee shops and restaurants as alternative. Walking distance from the Opera area.
I wish we never had booked our reservation at this hotel. The elevator did not work. The staff was rude and walked away from us at the front desk. There is no air conditioner and the room is very hot. Plus parking is over four blocks away and is very expensive. .Stay away
Our hotel room was very clean and the beds were so comfortable for our four night stay. We had a balcony room on the 4th floor that had a pleasant view and nice May breeze to enjoy. The shower was a bit small but we expected that from the other reviews we read. The room was not huge but met our needs. There was a refrigerator supplied with snacks and drinks and we used it for our own supplies. There were two grocery stores and lots of restaurants nearby. The Grand Boulevard and Cadet Metro stations were close by to make easy connection. The staff was very helpful and spoke English. We appreciated that.
They advertised various amenities including Buffet Breakfast. As I was checking in I was told breakfast was not included in the reservation. I produced both their advertisement thru you and the confirmation which had no exclusions. I told them I was going to have what I was entitled to. When I checked out they charged me 30.00 per day for our breakfast which included only pastries and cereal. I flatly refused to pay. I asked what transportation was available for early (0500) departure. I was told taxi for about 75 Euros. In fact I later discovered from another staff member that there was a shuttle for 36 Euros. One staff member was exceptionally helpful all others were passive or misleading.
The hotel has an outstanding desk staff. The rooms are adequate and clean. I would go there again.
The hotel was at an excellent location. The front desk staff were great, friendly and ready to provide with all kind of information we requested. The room, a little bit small to my expectation, was clean, bed comfortable for every night rest. Overall nice little room. I would come back to this hotel if I plan to visit Paris again.
You get to know a place if you stay there for 2 weeks. The single room was small. How small? You had to go out in the hall to change your mind. The Space Shuttle has a bigger bathroom. Honestly If you dropped the soap in the shower, you'd have to get out of the shower to pick it up. If the neighbors are quiet, you sleep, if they are on a honeymoon or fighting, or just talking loud you don't. The internet kicked me off constantly after 5 minutes. I never could make my McBook work. The staff was warm and so was the room, and very clean. If you are small and quiet and don't plan on spending much time on the internet. it's not bad.
This hotel is for a person that is on a budget and/or single. The location is very good, we had lots of restaurants nearby and the subway station was just down the street. However, the hotel is really small but it is clean and safe. The price is about the best you will get when it comes to value and location. I couldn't find a hotel in Paris that was really nice for this price range. The staff are really nice and helpful when it comes to resturants.
The room was small, but had everything you needed. It was clean and the staff was very courteous. It left you with the impression that you were in Europe with it's artistry and room size. I would definitely use them again for our travels to Paris.
The hotel was clean and the staff was very helpful. The location in relation to the metro was great. We stayed for 4 nights and were able to get to everywhere we wanted easily. There are a lot of restaurants in walking distance. The room was small. The bathroom was even smaller. But for the price, this was a great place to stay.
I was very pleasantly surprised at how clean the room was and the bathroom looked as if it had been recently updated, and the air conditioning was excellent.. The staff couldn't have been more helpful.
This hotel was close to a metro stop and had computer access in the lobby. Rooms were clean and comfortable and friendly staff.
The hotel staff is wonderful. Sid, one of the employees, was exceptionally kind, courteous and helpful. The rooms, though small by American standards, were clean, comfortable, and everything I needed for my stay in Paris.
The staff was friendly and helpful. Didn't utilize the bar or restaurant but was glad it was there if needed. Also surprised that a little hotel like this had room service (although I didn't utilize that either). I liked the central location that wasn't right in the middle of all the tourist craziness. Shower was super tiny and walls were thin but expected it to be that way. I would stay there again.
