Wonderful location near the Champs Elysees and close proximity to great shopping. We enjoyed it because it was in a quiet section of Paris. Our room was on the 5th floor overlooking the street with a small terrace(soundproof windows) Friendly staff always willing to help. And they provide a complimentary continental breakfast.

Perfect. Faultless. Clean. Great Location. Couldn't ask for anything else. Beautiful setting, great drinks great food, great staff. Absolutely nothing wrong and will return soon! Perfect for location next to Champs Eleseeys

We had an inner room overlooking the courtyard whilst our friends had a higher room with a wee balcony and a view: the very top of the Eiffel Tower and an interesting roofline. The advantage for us (room 16 (6?) first floor close to lift) was the huge room and huge bathroom. The bed was exceptionally comfortable- so much so I stripped it back to check the mattress: a Sealy. We had no tea and coffee facilities but we had a kettle and mugs sent up for my vital first thing in the morning cuppa for the three day stay. As mentioned below the location is great, being back to back with George V (I refuse to call it Four Seasons) you can even get their wifi from reception. It is close to many different restaurants with the full range of prices. Walkable from Arc de Triomphe all the way to the Tower with restaurant/bistro stops on the way. Breakfast was better than expected (endless pastries, yoghurt, fruit salad breads etc) the bars comfortable and typical 5* prices. Concierge recommendations were good including a super 1* Michelin restaurant, although an additional one from reception for 'an authentic Parisian not too pricey bistro' for our last night was a bit too authentic! An overall great stay.

Loved the hotel. Will certainly re visit and recommend to others. The location is superb. Breakfast was very good, although I thought at first it will be a buffet style. I was a little disappointed when I realized that the eggs were an extra charge :( Other than that it was great and loved that fact that when it rained there were umbrellas for us to take with us!

boutique hotel of extreme taste. Excellent rooms and bathroom, referring to the "superior" type. Even on the first floor, accommodation is really outstanding... Food very good , breakfast OK, not a self service type. Very efficient concierge service. Room service very good. Amazingly quick. Extremely well located. Go and relax. Disappointment free. In all aspects ...

Stayed in the apartment suite at the beginning of July, which was a fantastic room for our family of 4. The kids slept on the sofa bed and a roll-away bed, while we had the king bed. The apartmentwas huge, and even had a dining area and kitchenette, as well as 2 balconies that opened up to the courtyard. The hotel is quiet which was perfect for us, and the only noise that woke us in the morning was from the church bells chiming a chorus at 8.30am. The hotel staff are all extremely polite and very helpful. The location of the hotel is perfect. Easy Walking distance to the Eiffel Tower, Trocadero, Arc De Triomphe, Champs-Elysees, Bateaux Mouches boat tours, tons of cafe's/restaurants, and we even walked to the Louvre from the hotel (although our kids did complain!). I researched many hotels in the 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th arrondissements, and know that I made the best choice with De Sers. We spent a day exploring sights around the 5th/6th arrondissement and it was too crowded, touristy and noisy. We were happy to get back to our Hotel in the 8th arrondissement! I cannot wait to return to Paris and to Hotel De Sers!

Postage stamp sized bedrooms but good quality furnishings and linen - as befits 5* in Paris. A few careless niggles that suggest corners cut: no moisturiser in bathroom; wardrobes with lights that won't turn off overnight; bedroom wifi is useless; no tea/coffee set in bedrooms. Beds have odd wooden 'wings' protruding either side that both block your reading light and ensure that you will concuss yourself when you get up in the morning. Friendly staff. Worth booking if the location works for you and you get a good price.

We stayed for a weekend at Hotel de Sers with wife and my two kids (3 and 2 yrs old) in two connecting rooms. The hotel has been renovated recently and the communal areas are very comfy. As for the rooms, the decoration was not our taste but they were clean. The concierge was very helpful and very nice in trying everything to make us feel like home. The housekeeping was clearly the negative aspect of the hotel that needs a lot of effort. We sent an email with pictures to the hotel management to express our discontentment and received an answer a week later with a 30€ refund (???). A little bit disappointed on how the situation was handled, even though the hotel staff was trying its best to show some efforts.

Went for business lunch. Place is great and a bit pricy. Quality us good and quite sophisticated. Enjoyed it but it is the second time I go and still think they can do a bit better. Recommended for business lunch.

It was the best hotel : for location, interiors, service and PRICE!!! We enjoyed it very much. Group of 10 people and everyone was very happy. Location is next to Four Season Hotel. We will highly recommend.
