3rd time in this hotel. Ideal location in a quite street, circa 15 meters from the famous avenue George V and 150 meters from the boiling Champs Elysees. Priscilla in reservations had been very helpful in her recommendation when we booked, as well as Benoit the FOM when we checked in... we ended up in a superb Junior Suite at a reasonable price with a cute terrace overlooking the inner courtyard. We should have had our breakfast inside instead of under the canopy where it was a bit fresh that morning besides that the whole stay has been a dream. Happy friendly staff, delicious dinner, we will come back!
Very good location , very nice rooms, very nice bathroom. The only weakness is the breakfast. Service is late, staff is insufficient for breakfast. Reception and concierge helpful and nice. No need to mention more about location, which is surely great
The hotel was a stunner. 99/100! I loved every aspect and I'm a hotel snob! Comfortable bed (very), perfect climate control. Great amenities and room design. Quiet quiet quiet. Beautifully appointed lobby. The staff were perfectly accommodating, classy and pleasant. They close the bar early, but were willing to accommodate us late. The restaurant was good. PERFECT LOCATION right next to the Four Seasons George V. Blocks from many restaurants and shopping on the Champs Elyse. LOVED IT, I'll DEFINITELY BE RETURNING!
Stayed here 3 nights. Clean hotel all over. Helpful staff and cosy restaurant with glass roof. Good breakfast. Waitres Emily with her wonderful smile gave us a good start for the day. Misses news in english. All the chanels were in french.
Stayed here 3 nights. Wonderful hotel in a good spot. Few blocks fron the Arc of Triumph and Champs Elysee. The staff was polite, helpful and nice. All the TV canals were in french language. I missed news in english like CNN or BBC World. Otherwise very nice place.
This hotel is right next to the Four Seasons hotel, and very close to Chams-Elysees. The subway station and the bus stop is 3-minute-walk from hotel. All the staffs at the hotel were very friendly, and even though our check-up time was very late due to the late arrival of the flight, they kindly welcomed us and gave all the information we needed. We have stayed at this hotel for 4 nights and 5 days, and there was nothing to compalin about. ( Of course, the size of the room is not big comparing with hotels in other countries. It's Paris!:) Everybody speaks great English, and ourstaying at this hotel was a good chocie while travelling Paris!
Exceptional concierge service, before, during and after our 1 night stay. Guillaume and Carl sorted a hire car and texted to warn us of traffic delays and road closures. Even sorted the sat nav ready for a quick get away.
A clean and smart hotel, very well positioned and convenient to Champs Elyse and Trocadero. Staff very helpful and friendly. Wi-fi system could do with better instructions for logging on. In this day and age, I should not have to visit reception to ask how to connect a second device. Breakfast was very pleasant.
Upon arrival, friendly staff with the spotless lobby common area, 5 stars. The room (#55) condition seemed already a bit beat up, there are cracks at many places, 4 starts. One day upon our return and shockingly noticed that our room door was not closed properly... at first we thought maybe hotel staff were cleaning the room, unfortunately that was not the case, no one was in the room. After we reflected this to the front desk, the staff replied: "ok! I will tell housekeeping..." we realized that there might be language barrier involved however this kind of "acknowledgement" for a situation like this, 1 star. Next morning, we went downstairs for breakfast at 10AM which was within the proper hours and were told that the courtyard was closed, meanwhile there were still other guests eating in there. We then asked a female staff and said is it possible to sit in the courtyard as the indoor place was much too dark. She then said, " ok, I'll set it up." Then another male staff came in and said to us, "No, I have a big party coming in, the courtyard is closed with a quite serious attitude..." We were shocked with what just happened. Then we went to the front desk to reflect this situation, this female staff simply agreed with us that it is still within the hour and such and told us we could come back in the afternoon to talk to manager about it. As many people, we travel with limited time on hand, not only the hotel staff can not reflect and help to handle the situation but tell the clients to come back certain time to talk to the manager??? 2 stars. When we checked out the following morning, we got the same female staff at front desk without any acknowledgement or follow up on what we had reflect to her regarding the breakfast incident ... 1 star. After reading quite a few reviews on this site and noticed that the manager only replied to some positive reviews but not handling those problems. If this is the case, no wonder certain issues occur. 0 star Meanwhile if the manager is using the same attitude to handle our case here, I'm certain that myself and my friends will not choose De Sers in the future. the decoration and breakfast was good and the hotel is missing for 5 star services so that i give it 4 stars the break fast was only coronas and coffee this is not called breakfast nice lobby and decorations
