This hotel is certainly not a 4 star hotel. It smells like rotten fish, there is also a smell in the hallways, the staff at the hotel aren't helpful, or welcoming. You load your own luggage and carry it up to your room. The bathtub in our hotel was stained dirty. Similar to what was mentioned by others, the gate to the parking lot closes at night, so my husband and I left for dinner came back and drove around looking for a way to get back in. We had to use international minutes to call the hotel and ask how to get back in. Luckily we were staying just as a place to sleep before going to the airport early in the morning. This is a 2 star hotel and should be advertised as such. I was in France for 3 weeks and stayed at various different hotels - this was easily the worst hotel and it should be priced and advertised as a 2 star hotel and the only reason to stay here is if you are catching a flight and need something close to the airport.
As people have commented the location is not necessarily good However, for business at Le Bourget, it is. The "Prestige" label is not really justified unless this simply means it's better than other Kyriads! The room was absolutely fine in terms of facilities and design. However, the heating was not working and this involved a visit back to reception to borrow a fan heater. The staff were friendly and helpful but I can't help but conclude it's average. I'd prefer an Ibis Styles for this amount of money.
The staff of the hotel was nice and polite, and service minded (réception and restaurant). I had a bad smell when I entered my room (somebody may have smoked in the room before). I stayed in the room as I was tired, the reception the next morning told me that I should have said it and they would have offered me a new room. The room is ok, however the bathroom is simply not acceptable (spots on the ceiling, mushrooms? The bathtub is impacted, bulb not working). See pics The breakfast is good and qualitative.
I had business at Le Bourget airport so the hotel was well placed for that. There were restaurants on the main road but I certainly wouldn't say they were within walking distance. Nevertheless, I booked the hotel early and requested a high airport facing room. This I got, so I was happy with that. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. The room itself was really nice, spacious and clean. I couldn't have been happier with the room. Room 10/10, location without car 2/10. I had a car so the overall experience 9/10. I've booked again for this year.
Location, location, location. And this hotel has the worst possible one for a visit to Paris. Hotel itself is okay and the rooms are big, but definitely not four-star standard. We stayed there for the COP21 climate change negotiations because of its proximity to the COP venue. But being behind the airport fence was a disadvantage because the whole area was closed off at night for security reasons. It was a bit like staying in a prison for 2 weeks. The nearest public bustop is a brisk 10-15 minute walk away and goes to Le Bourget RER station. Nearest restaurants also about 15 minutes walk away. The whole area is grim and depressing. So unless you have business at le Bourget airport, stay away at all costs.
1/ No toilet paper holder!!! (why was that not noticed by the cleaning ladies) so toilet roll on the floor . Not hygienic! 2/ Remote control missing a piece and showing printed circuit board!! Not Safe 3/ Carpet disgusting (6th floor corridor and room) 4/ Maintenance team in action with ladders in the middle of the corridor every day ( they fixed 1/ and 2/ in one morning once I had asked) 5/ entrance washed and et with no sign ( my colleague almost fell) - Dangerous. All this for 159 euros per night !!!
on arriving at the hotel rather hungry at about 8pm on a sunday night we were greeted by a receptionist who decided to keep their mobile phone conversation going rather than welcome us in. When they finally decided to speak to us we found out the restaurant and room service were closed on sundays. After seeing the surrounding area on the bus journey to the hotel it was clear there was nowhere near(not within walking distance) to get food. Finally we decided to walk to the nearest hotel which happens to be a marriot and asked if we could use their restaurant which we were allowed to do. The hotel is a good 40 minute bus/metro trip from the centre of Paris and the trip back late at night was an eye opener. The bus was packed to the point we couldnt move and it was full of drunks and rather dodgy looking people. (i would advise a taxi back) There was nearly a few fights between people on the bus probably due to the alcohol and crammed space. The Hotel itself is ok, not good but ok. Its location is terrible unless you have rented a car or have lots of money for taxi fares. We will not be going back.
A very good hotel with efficient and cordial staffs. The room was very comfortable. It catered to every minute details to make us comfortable. The room WiFi is free with awesome speed unlike most of the hotels where we stayed during our Europe tour. The separate area within the room for luggage really reduces the congestion. there are enough plug points to charge your gadgets. The washroom is spacious enough and well equipped. Our room provided a great view of the airport. Only grey area in the hotel was perhaps the elevator which was small. So we had to wait long for our turn. The food was good, tasty and plenty. We had a pleasant and memorable stay.
A very good place to stay for visiting the Paris air show and the aviation museum of Bourget. Nice breakfast and restaurant but a little expensive. Nice and clean rooms. One negative is that you can't find public transportation near the hotel.
This is probably one of the worst Hotel I have ever been. They pretend to be what they are not. Extremely expensive. The staff is rude, unpolite and not kind. The services they offer are below any standard. Being the only hotel in the area is awful for the customers and we have no more choices but this place should be closed... Rooms are worst every time i come back. The breakfast is 14€ and you barely can find what you want without asking or ordering, empty trays, dirty juice maker machines, flies, only 1 waiter for about 50 seats... In addition, if you call the reception, you need to be lucky if you want something from them... they will decide when and if they want to do it or not... I think they could do it much better. 188€ for 2 nights for one person, not including anything... I think it is enough to offer a good service to the customers!!!
