The beds were very nice and cozy. Rooms were serviced but didn't understand first why beds were not made decently up. Next morning when we wanted to have breakfast in the room, we discovered some of the breakfast pack's were missing and rusks. Shame, poor staff must be very hungry and under paid to be stealing from guests.
First of all, if you are a turist in Paris, don't book this. Especially don't do it if you have to Travel to this hotel by tram at the night time. It's really far away from the Paris centre and the St. Denis area felt damn dangerous and scary for too small northern girls traveling. So did the hotel itself, I didn't get to sleep because I was so afraid of the noises I heard from the aisles and streets (you can't close the windows if you aren't keen on dying because of the heat, no air condition here.) The toilets were filthy and showers were like fridges on the walls, tiny, dirty and difficult to use. The room design and the commercials on the walls were nice though.
We chose this hotel due to its location close to the airport (30 min drive) and close to centre of Paris (25min walk + 45min metro). We received little help or support in regards to finding our way around, we had to rely on google maps. There was no air conditioning in the rooms, so needed to leave the window open which meant it was a noisy night sleep. In addition, there was building work going on inside the hotel that started in the morning, so sleeping in was not possible. The communal toilets and showers were OK but there were no sinks in the toilets, so we needed to walk back to the room to be able to wash our hands. Would only recommend this hotel to people travelling with low standards for accommodation.
The Hotel is very filthy and worse customer service ever, the room are extremely dirty and no toilet or shower in the rooms , the toilet and shower are shares with other 8 rooms and is about 5 meters howay from the rooms . We could not stay there for 10 min, needed to book another hotel. these Hotel is not suitable for normal people but it may be good for tramps or dirty squatters
I have been trying to call this hotel for a week now and I can't get in any contact with them. When ringing the phone it immediately goes to a women's voice that say: 'not available at the moment, try it later'. Also via e-mail I get no answer.
I have stayed at a number of these hotels and at Saint Denis for more years than I care to remember. Having just returned I have to say that some aspects are disappointing. I have no complaints about the general offer but corners are being cut to boost profits. My first shock on arrival was to find that towels and soap are no longer provided. Towels can be hired but I did not notice any reference to this when booking. Breakfasts are OK but nothing compared to a few years ago. Gone is the cheese, yoghurt, apple puree offer and what happened to the Fairtrade products that were so proudly promoted. Very disappointing.
I was very wary after I had booked a two night stay for a family of 5. It was incredibly cheap at £94. It was clean, o.k you had to share toilets and showers but this was good value. I liked the lay out, the staff were nice and would definetly visit again. Big car park for free and street parking. Nearest metro is a ten minute walk away.
We stayed here for a night during Euro 2016. The chain is very basic, communal showers and wc. Each room has a double bed and a bunk bed. It was clean. The area it is in is not the best, it's convenient for the stadium, but is nothing special. The only advantage it has is a relatively large and secure car park.
We stayed in this hotel for 7 days. It was a terrible 7 days. Shared toilet (3 per floor) is quite often dirty and wet. The staff is helpful, but does not speak much English. Free Wifi is only valid 24 hours, that was a problem for a longer stay. Metro station Saint Denis Basilique (line 13) is about 20 minutes walk through a dangerous district, a crime district. To park a car behind the hotel is a bad idea. We did rather went to the metro station through the cemetery. We were witnessed the breaking into a car and stealing. Rooms are clean, with TV and wash basin. The worst thing is the noise. The walls of the hostel are perhaps made from paper and everything is there to hear. The adjacent bakery is excellent baker and helpful! It is certainly worthwhile to pay a premium to live in a better neighborhood.
I stayed at this hotel with 2 other people for 5 nights and had one of the worst, if not THE worst stays ever. The bathrooms and showers are communal and were very dirty and disgusting. Would wake up and try to use the washroom but would have to visit several floors before finding a clean stall (even at 9/10AM) as they were either filthy from vomit, wet floors, etc. The parking is also supposedly security monitored but by entering on foot we were able to walk through the doors numerous times without worry. The parking is also not free. Our bedroom was a 3 person occupancy with a large double bed that had a bunk bed on top. It was reasonably comfortable. Thankfully there was a washbasin in the room along with working wifi and tv. The hotelF1 Saint Denis Stade is located near the Stade de France and a 10 minute walk from the metro (although be careful because this line stop earlier than others and had to take a cab from the Pigalle area after seeing a cabaret show. Yes this hotel is cheap but after paying to use the metro a lot and having to worry about the car and cleanliness of the washrooms I would much rather pay to be closer to downtown and feel secure and clean!
